There are 2 charcoal filters on the bottom of the glovebox in the passenger footwell as well with the 2 you just replaced. Remove the panel under the glovebox, 2 screws and they will be clipped in to the left, pull down to pull them out. They are slightly bigger charcoal filters. Four cabin air filters in total for the W210 :)

About to go and view a buy this week hopefuly tomorrow,a w210 that's been sitting a while the owner doesn't know much about cars has been busy,it's a manual transmission...I have a feeling it has a om606....love these cars alot.....any advice?

Can you remove both top tabs of plastic so pulling it out will be easier. I pulled it out and left side tab broke off.

Some models will have 2 screws at the top.

Yes it’s separate from the cabin air filter and is only used when you push the button on the climate control

Yes that’s the charcoal filter.
yeah that footwell filter should only be there if the original owner check marked the climate control option.....
