Gotta love playing on a simulator that doesn't do stuff automatically for you so when you mess up, you can just say you did the one play you were supposed to do without having to do it.
The new gem-knight support makes me sad. Instead of the banlist getting rid of Lady Lapis and killing the FTK, they just limited Master Diamond and made it slightly worse. Thus the new support has to have all these bad restrictions like “If the opponent controls a monster:” just to prevent helping the ftk too much. I wish they would ban Lady Lapis and give gemknight some actually good support.
Sure, gem-knight is depended on Lady Lapis, but Lady Lapis burn too much LP. If the monster dose not burn so much LP, gem-knight would get modern yugioh cards.
Player base to Master Rule 4 thinking it’ll be a better more controlled but find out the opposite : “You were the chosen one! It was said that you were to destroy MR3 not join it! Bring balance to the META, not leave it in chaos!”
The fun part of this is building the deck and not playing someone. It’s terrible for new players but fun for a group of experts just experimenting (but not competing).

I agree with alex, yugioh if you're not have an idea of the meta and you didnt know combo lines and keep playing the game, you cant play properly the game. If someone never played yugioh or sit to play with friends, you would not having fun with modern yugioh (for complexity) but only an heachache... i enjoy older formats because there arent many cards to remember or have to read every single card. If someone works you cant pretend a person to remember every single good card used, there is still people that want to try having fun in the game and master duel couldnt do it considering is the best way to aproach the people on playing the card game in irl. I enjoy so much more playing on locals with friends in a goat formats instead of modern formats because modern formats had too much power and too much combo line sadly, you dont have to learn only your combo lines of tour deck but also of all the meta deck or what deck you expect to fight against because if you dont know how to stop your opponent you would lose and when you made rookie mistakes you would feel ashame of potentially friends/people. I would also say some people dont even have a local or the local is so much distant from where you are, that mean more cost and time wasted. Some locals they even closing because how the products become more expensive too. Hopefully they do something about because thats really sad, let enjoy all people have fun kids, teenagers, adult, old etc... dont make yugioh only for a selected number of people. Thats why i love series like this, because this experience feel like even a common person like me or anyone else could do, missplays, fun moments, epic moments etc... "having fun as friends" and thats really nice. The problem not many people around the world have the privilege to have friends to enjoy the yugioh thats why master duel has to do a permanent time wizard format. This problem could have it an european or an american or even a japanese person. Is legal to do time wizard formats on local and even in big tournaments why they cant do it on master duel? Not all people in the world are smart like some of the top tier players on yugioh, and then we complain about people that playing stun or floodgate decks while they even have an older format with less cards and less knowledge to play the game, it is a better aproaching even for newer players. Is master duel has to make people playing locals not the opposite.

Holy shit I just realized we were in 2018 now. We're approaching current swiftly.
Cimo is looking at TOSS format with rose coloured glasses. Knightmare Mermaid into full Orcust combo was beyond irritating and Bardiche into PK RUM into Azathot on your turn was functionally a FTK. Plus Engage into Engage was a mainstay until the massacre ban list.
Wait what they play an FTK and actually show the FTK? What world am I living in? Loved this episode, am looking forward to the suffering of the next format.
SOLID ROCKS, BROTHER!
@click.email4.giveaway.cbruh, you got me, for a sec I thought it was real until I read the name 😅
I got so confused at 0:43 when he said “Brain Control” but Bottomless traphole’s picture came up lol
Gotta love playing on a simulator that doesn't do stuff automatically for you so when you mess up, you can just say you did the one play you were supposed to do without having to do it.
Is nobody gonna mention how when Cimo mentions Brain control in the intro, it shows bottomless instead?
I never want to see anyone complain about Tear again. Look at this nonsense. And it's not even the worst we're going to get in 2018.
Well today was literally a "draw your pistol first" duel.
The brain control is said on the list and bottomless pic instead continues 😅 great video with the straight shootout
living for toss format
Worst period in the game, pendulum ftk, gem ftk, gouki u-link/gumblar hand loop, danger ftk, but was a sacrifice to give us the best format TOSS❤
17:09 Id love to see MBT recording an X video, especially with Danny 😂😂😂
The fun part of this is building the deck and not playing someone. It’s terrible for new players but fun for a group of experts just experimenting (but not competing).
I can't wait for TOSS to become the new GOAT/Edison.
When does Grinder Golem come into play with the gem knight FTK? It was a one card firewall dragon enabler
I play gem-knight ftk in master duel and feel no remorse. Still works pretty well too. I use curious to get to block dragon and cross sheep to get multiple uses of rose if needed
the damage the link vrains packs did to the game is crazy
For TOSS format are you two gonna use the wheel since so many decks were playable?
Only 4 decks were playable for most of toss
@@andrejv.2834Not necessarily true, there are other decks
@@calls7989 there were at the start before orcust and salad were complete and at the end when danger thunder was killed off on the banlist, pure thunder fell off pretty hard there though and we had more of a big 3 remaining
@@andrejv.2834 depends on what you mean. Near the end? Yeah it was basically just the four, but from March until about September there were a dozen playable decks. Pendulum, true Draco, mekk knight, mekk invoked, paleo just to name a few. They could easily do a wheel for toss format. It might not be as large as like GOAT’s wheel but it would still be big enough for no mirror matches
@@robertkadrich3107it's the opposite, from march-july you had exclusively the big 4 and it got more diverse after agarpain got banned, which is when we had all these decks you mentioned
Cimo's rocks were, indeed, solid
This is the format that re-introduced me to Yu-Gi-Oh. Needless to say, I didn't play competitively.
Crazy how soul charge was legal up until 2018, as a sacky one of no less jeezz
Marco Perico absolute Gigachad
huh thought they would keep WC for history of jank, but yeah, this deck was exceptionally toxic, i am quite sure dark ruler no more was eventually designed to handle this specific interaction with the infinite negates gameciel
World Chalice actually won a YCS.
They can stall for another week with Zefra vs Post-Curious Lightsworn or something, but they can't hold off the link spam forever.
Just so you know.. in the opening where you have the ban list. You say "brain control", but Bottomless is pictured twice.
It would be great to see both points of view
Solid format brother
TOSS is 2019, we still got Gouki U-Link, Gumblar, the return of aqua dolphin, salad, orcust, striker, and other fun bullshit 😂😂😂😂
Game 1 15:31
Game 2 21:25
Game 3 29:23
Oh my gosh it took till 2018 for card trooper to be put to 3 what the heck
