    One of the best tutorials! I know you laughed at your mistakes in the measurements you said, but your post it notes and written guides are amazing! Love all your brief explanations of the choices you made in materials and sizing. I think with this video I’m ready to finally try this. Thanks so so much!

    I love this idea with the flap to close it.. It's exactly what I've been thinking about. I also love your choice of fabric !!!
    I like the inking on the interface idea. I think that I'd rather do that than trim any of it off . another idea I had as I watched was to stitch a satin stitch around the whole cover with the contrasting colored thread .

    This came up on my feed and i really like how u explained everything. Can you tell me what needles to use to go thru so many layers and what thread to use for this type of thickness?

      It's been awhile since I've done this project but I probably used a 90/14 needle and either quilting thread or all-purpose thread

    I love fabric covers for jjournals. I do have a nice machine, but I'm thinking going through a file folder plus 3 other layers must be pretty hard on your machine? Since the file folder was cut smaller, what did you use for a seam allowance? TY! Love that Christmas fabric too, BTW!

      @@maryhill2105 I sure am! Hoping for Sunday (tomorrow). It's been a bit of a whirlwind around here. Brought a new 7 week old puppy home on Thursday and it's been a little crazy. I forgot how much it is like having a newborn baby. 😁😉

      Sure! I have a dark colored counter top which was horrible for lighting. So, I bought this piece of poster board and it has greatly improved my video quality

    I have seen many tutorials on YT but no one have made it seem so easy. I have tried one my own and it was okay but now you have shown the last thing I was struggling with. I just LOVE your channel so a lot of 👍👍 from me 👏👏😀

      I'm not sure where that fabric came from. I've had it since last Christmas or the Christmas before. I think it came from Hobby Lobby but I'm not positive
