Everyone should do this, people be missing out! An excellent games library, near unlimited emulation potential and all those generations of Nintendo games! I'm on mine more than my PS4 and monster PC! I literally have ALL NES, SNES, 64, CUBE, WII, WIIU, GBA on there plus EVERY Neo Geo title, MD and Master System, 1000's of Arcade in RetroArch, PSP, PS1.. and it even rips wiiu discs to the HDD. After holding down the 'X' button, (holding it down immediately _after_ hitting the 'A' button to open the Health and Safety thing... that would be the big triangle with the yellow 'explanation point' '!') it takes me to the screen where I need to select a user(? _that didn't seem right to me_) so then after selecting my 'mi', I went right back to holding down the 'X' button, and then it takes me to a black screen with a warning saying: "Don't run the environment twice. If you want to open the Homebrew Launcher, launch the Mii Maker instead." And then it won't let me do anything else and I have to shut the console down. What did I do wrong? 🤦🏻♂️🤔 Thank you, and your walk through for this is very professional and easy to follow. Well done. 👍🏻

But on the 4th attempt, and right at the point I was ready to give up lol, it worked. I then went to the 'Mii maker' App and it properly loaded the Homebrew Launcher v1.5... Whew!! 👍🏻 And thank you so much for the prompt reply, btw(!) I was at the point of giving up and I told myself "Well maybe he'll reply back in a week or so if I haven't figured it out then by myself" 😂 ✌🏻

My Wii U automatically goes back to the NAND Dumper screen everytime I turn it on. Even if I wait for the system to reboot, it still goes to the NAND Dumper. How can I fix this?

Hello, Thanks for the tutorial, it is awesome and worked like a charm. I ran into one snag though, the sd card I used lost it's format and reverted back to raw. I had to reformat it again into fat32. I'm not sure what to do now, how do I restore the sd card back? I believe I backup the nand.
I currently have a situation where about an hour ago a friend and I were playing Sonic Riders but now I’ve been having an error code that has 199-9999 Can you please tell me how to prevent this error? I tried replacing the sigpatches file and same thing

When holding down B after clicking “run exploit” it simply does nothing a brings me to the homebrew menu nor does anything happen when holding down X I have accessed the homebrew menu before but I don’t know I’m stupid🗿

Thank you for such a great guide. Here’s a question if anyone here can chime in: I’m using the same SD card that he uses in this video, it came default formatted as exfat. Using guiformat.exe, I ran the format process to fat32, keeping all suggested settings, and according to guiformat.exe the drive is now fat32. However when viewing the drive in file manager, it still reads as exfat under the format tab. Is this because within windows, fat32 just isn’t an option for a card larger than 32gb? Is it, in fact, formatted to fat32, but windows is still marking it as exfat because of its size (256gb)?

There isn't much of a reason to change over to Tiramisu other than to have the latest homebrew environments and the possibility of using aroma stuff if interested. if using the cold boot stuff with haxchi then it is better to switch over since it would be easier to recover from a brick. I am planning to do a video converting my cold boot wii u over to tiramisu some time this week so I will show the process if interested.
in my situation, i have the homebrew browser and the hackxii as a game (with the gba original digital game), so i run the hackxii everytime i start my wiiU, can i do this without any risk of brick for the Hacxii?

Do i need to be signed into my Nintendo account to be able to dump my physical games? I would imagine i would for any digital games, but I'm more interested in just my physical games. I just worry about getting an account ban just for teying to back up my purchased games.

nevermind. i was holding b on a controller, not the gamepad. i repeated the exploit steps and held b on the gamepad and im on the right menu now
i had the same problem, to anyone who is having trouble just make sure you press B UNTIL the right menu pops up, if you let go early it wont show up
I converted it to FAT32 and held B but instead of giving me a menu it shows a black screen and gives me the FAT32 error on my Wii U.

You can remove the hack. You can't run stuff installed with the hack without the hack.

If it says exfat in a format window it's because it's selected as the formatting option. It isn't in that format.

I don't know what keys you would need to press to get it to trigger the right menus during the web exploit but I imagine it could be possible.
