This is definitely the way if you want to cook at low to medium temps on stainless. It acts as basically Teflon after doing this. The problem is you have to always maintain this procedure or it will start sticking again.
Cool video! But I’m a little confused. The reason to season a pan is to help it not rust. But that is a stainless steel pan. Which is a none stick pan to start with. lol. ?????
Thank you! But... stainless steel does still rust. Just way slower than standard steel. But stainless steel is NOT non-stick. I've had to chisel food off of my stainless steel pans many times! And, just like with cast iron, seasoning does help to reduce sticking.
