I hate how Qwel was mostly getting the hate for the Rox situation. I understand that Qwel was defending Rox in the first place, but Rox told Qwel a completely different story from what is actually happening, and these 2 have been working with each other ever since Flavor Frenzy. I can see why Qwel at first believed Rox due to their 10 year relationship. Props to the people who actually talked directly to Qwel about what was actually happening with Rox, he wont be missed.
You know I realized something about dandys world. Dandy represents rox and their terrible actions (dandy isn’t a predator but he still does bad things according to do the lore) and Qwelver represents Astro Since in the lore, Astro KNEW about dandy’s secret and still refused to tell anyone, Because of this he feels guilty. all because they were close friends. Dandy represents rox and Qwelver or the minor represents Astro. Edit: Dandy is fired and dead, like rox now.
Me personally, I think the only reason that Qwelver is defending Rox is because he’s such an important part of the team and since they have been friends for so long that Rox himself had corrupted Qwelver into thinking that it’s ok
It’s unlikely qwel was manipulated. While it’s possible, she’s responsible for her actions and she’s also shown multiple times she’s a bad person. She’s been extremely rude and weird with minors, so I doubt she actually cares about what Rox has done.

Honestly, having Rox fired is a lot more difficult and improbable than it may seem. From what I've heard, Rox does all the scripting and modeling. On top of that, he's 50% of the dev team, with the dev team being only Qwel and Rox. I know it'd be what's right, but with all that Qwel has done for Rox, I don't think she's going to do what's right, or even care for what's right. Yes, right would be to look for a new scripter and modeler to hire, but she couldn't care less for Rox's actions. She literally seeked him out as a friend after he completely rebranded and unfriended everyone after being caught for being a predator. Honestly, I wouldn't put any hope in Qwel making the right decision, and in having the reputation of her and her games saved.

Hello there!! I have been apart of the blush crunch studio server for 2 years now. And I would like to say that it is actually incredibly toxic. Once the news of the original document came out (in case you didn’t know, there are two documents), rox uploaded a video talking about it. It was supposed to be an apology, or at least an explanation, but it just seemed more like he was deflecting. Sure, he said they he apologized, but later in the document, it’s revealed that rox apologized WAYYYYY later than he said he did. He downplayed the situation a lot. And, well, the majority of the community are minors, including me. We were essentially manipulated into it was just some “petty drama” (rox’s words, not mine) and it’s actually disgusting. The server itself, before everything was exposed, was actually somewhat nice. I say somewhat because there was little to no moderation, which is a huge problem. People would come in and post…interesting things in media and it would take an hour for a mod to go online to ban them if the devs weren’t answering. It got so bad that I made a suggestion in the suggestions page essentially begging them to at least try to get more mods. The suggestions page is gone from what I see, but it got a lot of interaction and they finally added some new mods. Now, after the (first) document was leaked and rox didn’t make his “apology” video yet, there was someone I knew who was a very talented artist and generally nice person. My condolences to them. However, a rumor started to go around about how they supported rox’s actions, which is disgusting. They never did and never will. At the time, it was only just flavor frenzy and the server was very small in terms of members who actually interacted in the server, so this rumor spread fast. They essentially got HARASSED off of the server. A lot of members in that server are very talented artists and friendly people, but most of them left the bc server after the second document was leaked. I have become inactive in the server and will occasionally go on there to check out the art some people make. The devs asks you that if you want to ask about the “rumor” then to make a ticket to talk to them, and that they aren’t “hiding” anything. Bullshit. They would mute anyone who brought it up or even HINTED at the drama, and a mod that I knew got banned because they were concerned for the community. I see you Bryce, hello!! I hope you’ve been doing well. I love the games, I really do, but I will never EVER support rox. Qwel can only essentially redeem herself if she lets go of him and hires a new modeler and coder. It doesn’t matter if he is your friend, he did terrible things to minors and your community is quite literally FILLED WITH THEM. It’s pathetic. Let him go. Some extra info!! - when rox made his “apology” video on the second, more popular doc, he opened the video by saying that he was just hit by the hurricane and that he keeps getting death threats and all that. Qwel has recently banned a bunch of people from the blushcrunch discord server after they were talking about rox and the gamepasses and how others shouldn’t buy them because it directly supports rox and qwel. The way qwel and the rest of the staff handles stuff like this is just pathetic honestly.

Guys, banning rox is NOT as easy as you think. He scripts, models, and is like almost 100% of the dev team. Now before you say, “Oh just get new devs”, its gonna be hard to take em out. idk if my comment got deleted but i’ll just say it again. i used to know qwel and rox. it’s funny how qwel was shaming two other people i used to know for drawing similar things, but the moment her bestie does it, she disregards the whole thing and sweeps it under the rug. i was on and off with her, being friends back in 2020, then split up, then came back around 2021, then split up again. rox used to be in a friend’s server of mine and he also shared those images with us (i was 14-15 at the time and there were also other minors present but they didn’t care about it because they all shared inappropriate things). he was kinda weird imo and had some weird relationship with one of my old friends in said server. i was honestly shocked to hear about this situation because it did happen 3-4 years ago, but i’m so glad it’s being brought up and that rox is facing the consequences of his actions.
the problem is that even if the game no longer owned by qwel and rox, the game will still suffer fromt he damage they done, it's difficult to get reclaimed from the problematic owners.
I am SO GLAD someone is covering this topic. I used to play Flavor Frenzy and Dandy's world so much because I love it. But after finding out about Rox (is a gr00mer and drew CP) and Qwel's (the defender of a gr00mer) situation, I was shocked. They made me so happy with their games and this is what I realize? And apparently Rox also used to be a TD developer (I think, I'm not so sure someone make this clear for me) and moved to BCS to get away from the allegations. They ban anyone from their discord server if they talk about the drama. Like me, who didn't do ANYTHING. See, I was making MPR3G jokes with other friends in an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SERVER. After going on discord, I was permanently banned for "NSFW". We stopped making those jokes but really Qwel? She herself is a bad person. It kinda sucks how such an amazing game has terrible creators

The sad thing as well is that those 150k people who were actively playing the game and most likely enjoying it probably don’t want to see it downfall. Even I’ve played the game and with friends it was really fun, but even though this was a hit game for some time it will most likely end or take a decline in players after these allegations get more awareness.
The fact that so many people who play the game KNOW about this and continue supporting the game, trying to snuff out the drama and ignore it, is so disheartening dude. @@RedAngBear you dont know how roblox algorithm works, it appears. by playing the game; it shows the algorithm its a game worth playing, its pushed out to other people, then they start playing. some of those people can pay money. premium players by just playing the game as well will give them money. the only true way to stop money flow is to stop playing, it shows the algorithm the game isnt worth playing in its eyes; and doesnt reccomend it to others. no others playing it? No money. simple you may say "Oh but what if their just told about what happened?" while that is true, the only real way to fully make that work is if its shown to the parents of some kids who will eventually ask their moms and dads for money to spend on the game they like, unthewiser due to no social media. either that, or too young to understand. the only way to stop it fully even if people were to stop paying money; unfortunately, not everyones going to care either. some people will still chuck money their way despite all this, the only real way to kill the problem is to *stop playing*.
Exactly! I was a Tower Heroes fan for years (I quit a little bit before the drama), and I'm really upset that Dandy's World is getting popular. I've known who Rox really is for years. I'm worried that something is going to happen again now that he has a new fan base who believes that everything against Rox is just "petty drama". And all of the Dandy's World fans who KNOW about the drama cope with it by saying that Rox is just the co-developer or he's not the owner or whatever when the actual owner, Qwel, stands with him. The saddest part is that even though there is all this push back against Rox, Dandy's World just keeps getting more popular. Don't play Dandy's World, and do not buy any of the game passes.

The creator isn't a pred, it's the co-owner, who recently got fired and kicked off the Dandy's World and Flavor Frenzy team. Qwel is still looking for a replacement for Rox. one of the main reasons qwel doesn't kick Rox off the development team is because Rox is one of the main modelers for Dandy's World and FF so it would slow the production and quality down tenfold most likely
The fact that Rox and others made a response video AND announcement, then proceeded to delete them and sweep it under the rug is WILD. The owner of this team is an AWFUL person who's just trying to cover this whole thing up.
Adding onto this, they are actively censoring ANY mention of it in their discord server. This is NOT just a "Oh there's no proof" thing. Qwel and Rox are actively working against the victims to silence this situation.
In my honest opinion, even if the team gets rid of rox, there's no redeeming the game. The team willingly let a dangerous person on their team for a long while, to develop the game. Supporting the game if they ban the creep only tells the developers that its okay they worked with a known predator as long as they remove him later (it isnt)
When you titled the video as Roblox’s most dangerous predator, I really expected at least IRL child kidnapping, murder, making minors commit acts of evil themselves, or some of the worst possible things, like things you will never ever recover from. Instead it was just some generic grooming of a small amount of victims. You really set my expectations too high.

I don't think anyone in this comment section knows the definition of either of those words, because that's not even remotely what happened here. @@pringlecreak The doc keeps getting taken down for breaching tos in some way within hours or sometimes minutes whenever I try to view it in my spare time despite it being reposted several times over months now, but I've seen chunks of it. Thing is, even discord screenshots are very questionable evidence (and have been for over half a decade at this point) due to how easy it is to fake them if you REALLY don't like someone and feel petty. And the fact that it's pretty much all we got speaks volumes. Plus as far as I've read, nowhere is it clarified whether the drawings were of a REAL minor or just a minor's mascot OC on their profile picture. I could be wrong there but I haven't seen it. While the latter would still be very weird and questionable, it's not illegal by any means and isn't indicative of .pdf filia. I'm not saying it's 100% fake, I'm just saying that if someone would wish to fake allegations like that... discord screenshots and disgusting convos within discord are extremely easy to fake even without any photo editing. So I'm always skeptical about serious allegations like "grooming" and being a .pdf file when there's just nothing that actual authorities could act on to get a supposed predator behind bars. All that said, personally, after how many false or totally overblown allegations of grooming and .pdf filia we've seen on the internet (cases like pyrocynical for instance where he was made out to be a groomer when he was undisputably not after giving his side and evidence to support it, and the ""victim"" turned out to be a manipulative clout chaser and not the greatest person himself), I'd rather just let actual authorities look into Rox and judge if he's done anything legally reprehensible. If that doesn't happen, I genuinely couldn't care less about what hundreds of single-digit aged kids are parroting about him online while continuing to play Dandy's World because they don't actually care about committing to stop supporting a supposed predator.

Honestly, having Rox fired is a lot more difficult and improbable than it may seem. From what I've heard, Rox does all the scripting and modeling. On top of that, he's 50% of the dev team, with the dev team being only Qwel and Rox. I know it'd be what's right, but with all that Qwel has done for Rox, I don't think she's going to do what's right, or even care for what's right. Yes, right would be to look for a new scripter and modeler to hire, but she couldn't care less for Rox's actions. She literally seeked him out as a friend after he completely rebranded and unfriended everyone after being caught for being a predator.
Honestly, I wouldn't put any hope in Qwel making the right decision, and in having the reputation of her and her games saved.

Hello there!! I have been apart of the blush crunch studio server for 2 years now. And I would like to say that it is actually incredibly toxic.
Once the news of the original document came out (in case you didn’t know, there are two documents), rox uploaded a video talking about it. It was supposed to be an apology, or at least an explanation, but it just seemed more like he was deflecting. Sure, he said they he apologized, but later in the document, it’s revealed that rox apologized WAYYYYY later than he said he did.
He downplayed the situation a lot. And, well, the majority of the community are minors, including me. We were essentially manipulated into it was just some “petty drama” (rox’s words, not mine) and it’s actually disgusting.
The server itself, before everything was exposed, was actually somewhat nice. I say somewhat because there was little to no moderation, which is a huge problem. People would come in and post…interesting things in media and it would take an hour for a mod to go online to ban them if the devs weren’t answering. It got so bad that I made a suggestion in the suggestions page essentially begging them to at least try to get more mods. The suggestions page is gone from what I see, but it got a lot of interaction and they finally added some new mods.
Now, after the (first) document was leaked and rox didn’t make his “apology” video yet, there was someone I knew who was a very talented artist and generally nice person. My condolences to them.
However, a rumor started to go around about how they supported rox’s actions, which is disgusting. They never did and never will. At the time, it was only just flavor frenzy and the server was very small in terms of members who actually interacted in the server, so this rumor spread fast.
They essentially got HARASSED off of the server.
A lot of members in that server are very talented artists and friendly people, but most of them left the bc server after the second document was leaked. I have become inactive in the server and will occasionally go on there to check out the art some people make. The devs asks you that if you want to ask about the “rumor” then to make a ticket to talk to them, and that they aren’t “hiding” anything.
Bullshit.
They would mute anyone who brought it up or even HINTED at the drama, and a mod that I knew got banned because they were concerned for the community. I see you Bryce, hello!! I hope you’ve been doing well.
I love the games, I really do, but I will never EVER support rox. Qwel can only essentially redeem herself if she lets go of him and hires a new modeler and coder. It doesn’t matter if he is your friend, he did terrible things to minors and your community is quite literally FILLED WITH THEM. It’s pathetic.

rox used to be in a friend’s server of mine and he also shared those images with us (i was 14-15 at the time and there were also other minors present but they didn’t care about it because they all shared inappropriate things). he was kinda weird imo and had some weird relationship with one of my old friends in said server.

I am SO GLAD someone is covering this topic. I used to play Flavor Frenzy and Dandy's world so much because I love it. But after finding out about Rox (is a gr00mer and drew CP) and Qwel's (the defender of a gr00mer) situation, I was shocked. They made me so happy with their games and this is what I realize? And apparently Rox also used to be a TD developer (I think, I'm not so sure someone make this clear for me) and moved to BCS to get away from the allegations. They ban anyone from their discord server if they talk about the drama. Like me, who didn't do ANYTHING. See, I was making MPR3G jokes with other friends in an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SERVER. if more people talk about the problem with dandy world, it will eventually reached to bigger youtubers and they will talk about this as well, i'm tired of people trying to defend the fanbase like "they're just kids!" Look. Even though the devs are horrible, especially Rox, ive spent my hard work into this game and let me tell you something Lemmy, i aint quitting. The game needs new owners, or the only way the drama and ridiculous hate for Dandys World will stop is if Qwel actually takes action and replaces Rox. I dont want my favorite roblox game being destroyed because of the devs, and since i have a dandys world PFP in discord everytime i chat in servers i always get mocked for liking dandys world and they say "i support a predator" It only counts as supporting it if youre donating/buying the gamepasses. If you like the game its okay, you could just ignore the drama and just play it like i do. I cannot stress enough on how im tired of the hate. GO HATE ON THE DEVS AND NOT THE GAME PEOPLE! And for those saying its a copy of minus elevation, PLAY THE TWO GAMES AND YOU'LL SEE A HUGE DIFFERENCE. Peace out, and i dont care if i get attacked for this anyway.

Exactly! I was a Tower Heroes fan for years (I quit a little bit before the drama), and I'm really upset that Dandy's World is getting popular. I've known who Rox really is for years. I'm worried that something is going to happen again now that he has a new fan base who believes that everything against Rox is just "petty drama". And all of the Dandy's World fans who KNOW about the drama cope with it by saying that Rox is just the co-developer or he's not the owner or whatever when the actual owner, Qwel, stands with him. The saddest part is that even though there is all this push back against Rox, Dandy's World just keeps getting more popular. Don't play Dandy's World, and do not buy any of the game passes.

Qwel actually didn’t know what Rox was doing, Rox was lying to Qwel and telling her that he was drawing harmless fanart and and people misunderstood his ‘art’ so Qwel was completely innocent and blind. Thankfully Rox is now fired and banned from the Discord server permanently.

Qwel hosted a Q&A on the Dandy’s world discord server today, and I decided to ask about why they’re allowing Rox to be a co owner of the game and why not fire them. In my honest opinion, even if the team gets rid of rox, there's no redeeming the game. The team willingly let a dangerous person on their team for a long while, to develop the game.
Supporting the game if they ban the creep only tells the developers that its okay they worked with a known predator as long as they remove him later (it isnt)

When you titled the video as Roblox’s most dangerous predator, I really expected at least IRL child kidnapping, murder, making minors commit acts of evil themselves, or some of the worst possible things, like things you will never ever recover from. It's debatable whether Rox even groomed anyone is the most disgusting part of this... he just said a bunch of unhinged weird shit (that is definitely bad don't get me wrong) and has drawn questionable artwork (that I still have no idea if those drawings refer to fictional OC's that represent their owners which are minors, or an actual minor's real-life appearance, because the latter is illegal while the former is just, like... whatever? Weird how nobody seems to clarify that which leads me to believe it's the former just to blow the accusations on a person they don't like out of proportion)
He's definitely not a saint and shouldn't be trusted, but grooming? .pdf filia? I don't think anyone in this comment section knows the definition of either of those words, because that's not even remotely what happened here. It's just losers watering down these terms (and by doing so indirectly helping actual predators get away with crimes and actual harm)

@@pringlecreak The doc keeps getting taken down for breaching tos in some way within hours or sometimes minutes whenever I try to view it in my spare time despite it being reposted several times over months now, but I've seen chunks of it. Thing is, even discord screenshots are very questionable evidence (and have been for over half a decade at this point) due to how easy it is to fake them if you REALLY don't like someone and feel petty. And the fact that it's pretty much all we got speaks volumes. Plus as far as I've read, nowhere is it clarified whether the drawings were of a REAL minor or just a minor's mascot OC on their profile picture. I could be wrong there but I haven't seen it. While the latter would still be very weird and questionable, it's not illegal by any means and isn't indicative of .pdf filia.
I'm not saying it's 100% fake, I'm just saying that if someone would wish to fake allegations like that... discord screenshots and disgusting convos within discord are extremely easy to fake even without any photo editing. So I'm always skeptical about serious allegations like "grooming" and being a .pdf file when there's just nothing that actual authorities could act on to get a supposed predator behind bars.
All that said, personally, after how many false or totally overblown allegations of grooming and .pdf filia we've seen on the internet (cases like pyrocynical for instance where he was made out to be a groomer when he was undisputably not after giving his side and evidence to support it, and the ""victim"" turned out to be a manipulative clout chaser and not the greatest person himself), I'd rather just let actual authorities look into Rox and judge if he's done anything legally reprehensible.
If that doesn't happen, I genuinely couldn't care less about what hundreds of single-digit aged kids are parroting about him online while continuing to play Dandy's World because they don't actually care about committing to stop supporting a supposed predator.
