omg lol clam spoon, love it. Is black sesame seed oil less potent or are there just dishes out there where it doesn't overshadow everything else/you want that punch of sesame?
I do that same with the bowl for cleanup but I like to put a store bag in the bowl..
Oh man fresh clams are hard to come by in my area. Maybe I'll have to order some and give this dish a try. Looks super simple fresh and tasty af. I don't think I can handle the ginger chunks though. Thanks for sharing.
Dont worry the ginger chunks are there just for aromatics its even cut largely so you can fish them out easy when eating. Dont leave the ginger out it imparts a lot of good flavor

slice 'em thin, unless you like a PUNCH of ginger lol didn't grind smooth enough with my garlic ginger paste for curry once lol

Why cook the noodles first? They cook so fast, you can do it just before the broth and clams are done. There’s no advantage to cooking noodles that far in advance.
