    I like this. Feels like the camera guy ambushed Jessie in the hallway and she said "whatever I'm gonna make lunch," and then they went with it. Relaxed strong flavors, noodles. Thank you.

    Oh man fresh clams are hard to come by in my area. Maybe I'll have to order some and give this dish a try. Looks super simple fresh and tasty af. I don't think I can handle the ginger chunks though. Thanks for sharing.

      Dont worry the ginger chunks are there just for aromatics its even cut largely so you can fish them out easy when eating. Dont leave the ginger out it imparts a lot of good flavor

      九層塔蛤蜊? its usually made with pasta in Taiwan 🤔 (Italian fusion restaurants) or just clam with basil as a dish a t熱炒店, never have it with the style Jessie made, I am curious too.

    Why cook the noodles first? They cook so fast, you can do it just before the broth and clams are done. There’s no advantage to cooking noodles that far in advance.

    I would certainly eat that.. but is there a more humane way to cook the clams?
    If snails and lobsters are intelligent enough to avoid painful stimulus, I'm assuming clams don't like being boiled alive.
