When I was 12, my Sisters Husband Hank would ask me if I wanted to come out with him and watch/experience what he was doing and I always said yes please and loved every minute of it. He would counsel me to listen to the sounds the machines made and explain that they were communicating with him about pushing to hard or going too fast or too slow. I loved going to work with Hank. He loved to go hunting and he was coming home through a freak wind storm on the Hope Princeton Highway .
I don't care if it makes me sound crazy, but it's my favorite view Chris provides. Especially since its not one we see often compared to others. Totally agree.
Nice weather for burning. The owner of this acreage must be happy with the way it looks now. Grader does a great job with road formation. Tractor from home - farmer Chris is on the road :).
You do a good job with your brush burning, a dirty and difficult job. I've burned a lot of brush piles, on a monthly basis for 32+yrs. Probably 3-5% only burned perfectly, all of the other piles were a lot of work! I finally accepted that brush burning was difficult, "just the nature of the beast." Thanks for the video.
I really enjoy watching and learning from your videos. Even at the age of 67, you've made a positive difference in how I run equipment. It's definitely more effective and easier on the machines. Thank you!
Been a while since I got to see Chris working his motorgrader. My favorite piece of equipment he operates for some reason. I guess it's the way he uses it to finesse rock and dirt into where he wants it. Underbelly shots are the best.
And "Poof" !! He Gone !! lololol...Yeah, that place turned out pretty nice Chris. Like all the Oaks you left spread around the lot there !! Great as always, Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!
Having duplicates of excavators, dozers but different really you to spread yourself around as different locations come to be ready instead of hauling one piece of equipment over and over
Chris can you show us newbies how you operate that Motor Grader, of all the machines you use I find that one the most fascinating because it appears to need the most finesse?
Chris I was the rock guy. I picked rock from the age of when I could walk until I was 13 and then my grandfather finally got a rocker or AD rocker. I'd like to know how come you don't have a rocsir. You know, it would really, really help you a lot.
Not sure if your guy has a center dump, but when we deliver gravel we can spread it 2-3 inches thick with a center dump trailer and there is almost no grading needed.
Chris…..long time viewer here….all 👍! Next time you’re on the road grader, would love to hear your thoughts and considerations on what goes into building a road from scratch…..soil removal…clay base types and depths….overlayment types and gravel information based on what you’re trying to achieve at different price points. To a layperson like me, it looks like there might have been gravel soils that could have been used here…. but wouldn’t have worked. Incredible work ethic! Great videos and amazing content…..thanks for bringing us along
I’m not Chris, but here goes, many variables, are you planning on building at El Paso TX or Grand Rapids MI, the freeze line is so much different. Are you planning for a home or a commercial truck parking area, MI you start 4-5 ft deep TX start 1-2 ft deep that’s a significant difference. Look for someone local to get you started. Good luck with your search.
Chris, you doing an amazing job running every piece of equipment you get on. I used to tinker around With equipment when I worked for a Deere Dealer. The Motorgrader was my favorite. God Bless and Good Health. Thanks For The Videos.
Chris, the next Work what You can Finished. Burn the Heap from Shrub and Roots, grading the clear Areal and fill Stone and the last little Roots in a Hole and grading this Place. Then make You a Road with Gravel, seeding Grass on the Areal. To All this Work have You the Perfect Equipment, and Drive all Machine Perfect. However have You a Order in best Quality finished. 👌👍
Chris gets to light some fires. You could have wrapped a chicken in foil and cooked lunch in that smoldering pile. I love that song you started @ 20:55, any chance you can tell us the name or artist? Making sure its 'done right' is why you have so many repeat and new customers.
My Dad called them “motor patrol grader”. He could build or repair any road just by eyeball and it was just perfect. The few times I tried his comment was “ that’s a fine washboard road son.
Another project coming to an end,now that just leaves you with what 4 or 5 more projects in different stages to do.great video as always.just keep doing what you do best.😎😎😎👍👍👍
If someone plants a tree on this hole, the tree will thrive like no other business if the hole can support its weight. The forms of carbon and rich elements found in the burnt tree dust will support trees for years to come. I put ashes on our trees, and they love it. Just not too much at a time - have it sink in.
Question for you Chris. I truly don't know the answer to this. When you want to clean the dirt from all those roots and trees when your restacking, why don't you shake the stuff with the arm or the bucket? Is it bad for the equipment or just not work as well as picking it up and dropping it?
There are times I see Chris use a bucket like a tweezer picking up a toothpick. And days like this, with dirty, damp brush piles it's a toddler "helping" weed the garden. All about the conditions.
I often wonder why Chris hasn't designed a giant fork to sift the sticks out of the dirt and ash in the fires. I have no doubt that an attachment such as this, interchangeable on the 220s and useable with the thumb, would quickly pay for itself in fuel savings alone. I would think it would reduce the amount of time he spends sifting through the piles by half at least. Which in turn also cuts down on wear and run hours on the machines. I can't see how he could go wrong with it.
It’s oddly satisfying to watch the grader from underneath 👍
🤙

Agree
I thought I was the only one that thought that!!😁😁😁
I don't care if it makes me sound crazy, but it's my favorite view Chris provides. Especially since its not one we see often compared to others. Totally agree.
If this video doesn’t show how busy and hectic your job can be sometimes they aren’t paying attention!! Enjoyed!!
This guy works like a dog. Swear.
I knew you couldn't resist burning the other pile :)
The trees you left really give some definition to the lot. They will have some nice shade in a few years.
Dump truck driver definitely knows what He's doing
Little Grader does a Great Job. Where there's smoke there is Fire. Never burn as quick as you like and the smoke, well it has a mind of its own :)
Nice weather for burning. The owner of this acreage must be happy with the way it looks now. Grader does a great job with road formation. Tractor from home - farmer Chris is on the road :).
Another successful land transformation by the best dirt mover out there. Nice seeing Kyle at a distance. Thanks for sharing with us all, Chris.
That trailer sure is nice. Motor grader fits on it perfectly. Gotta make hay when the weather is right. Good job sir! 👍
CHRIS A MAN THAT'S ALWAYS ON A MISSION!!!!😂🎉😊

That new trailer is definitely coming in handy! That grader fits on there perfectly!
Very good video Chris love it and love to see the exc, 220 going strong .

Underbelly shots are the best.
A grate job like always. Way to do it Chris.
Love that camera angle of the grader spreading the stone
Looking great…build your burn piles on a piece of well casing going to the center. Can add a leaf blower to the end of it and supercharge it!
Howdy Chris! Have a great weekend Brother, take care and God Bless!!!❤😊
enjoyed the video Chris, love your work.. block should look great with grass covering it..
Love to watch the road grader. It just kisses the gravel and spreads like magic. Great job Chris.
Your grader is my favorite machine on UA-cam.
Awesome that little grader!!!

Great job your video are awesome😊 love to watch thanks in RI !😀😀
Don’t know why I love watching this stuff for hours. But I do 🤷♂️
I wondered if those trees would be worth the extra efforts. Even before the grass is in….I can already see their value.
11:00. I know there have been numerous comments in the past but watching the camera angle of the grader smoothing out the roadway is memorizing.
Great job 👍🏻
I could watch the grader view for hours...
Always an excellent job Chris! Love burn day, nice road build, and that new trailer is going to be a money saver!
Kilye certainly can drive loading shovel job site looking Great
Better herrey I think .Jeff is trying to buy 10,000 more acres for you to clean.
Wouldn't be surprised 😂

The whole area is looking good bro, Great to have good friends who are good operators too. Safe travels. Ken.
Glad to see you didn't replace Effie. She does good work and I like to see her in action.
Happy bouncing. :) Was that John? Thank you and have a good day.
Looks great 👍🏻🇺🇲
That piel of brush probably can't get enough air 😊
Good old 220 lol.
That's almost a rap on that job. Looks great compared to the brush and rocks you started with.
Good golly Miss Molly !!!😊❤
So much for your pretty detailed D51.
Enjoy all the content that Chris puts out, but there is something special about the 'Grader-Cam' segments
good video
Love the sound of that little Komatsu. That’s gonna my next one

I’ll take my ash pile mix in with other dirt and run it through the sifter really turn out decent top soil
every one should own a grater, they do beautiful work
You have not shown Winston lately.
My Dad called them “motor patrol grader”. He could build or repair any road just by eyeball and it was just perfect. The few times I tried his comment was “ that’s a fine washboard road son.
Fun to watch chris isn't it
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
Looking good
Very well-made video.
Wow
We always used leaf blowers to get a wet pile burning real hot..
Great Video
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
I see another Komatsu Dozer upgrade in the package.
Another project coming to an end,now that just leaves you with what 4 or 5 more projects in different stages to do.great video as always.just keep doing what you do best.😎😎😎👍👍👍

More outside the machine camera views please. The ones where it looks like someone is standing on the ground watching you work. Please and thank you

Hi Chris wife and say awesome job have a great day
Glad to see the grader on the project. Atleast they didn’t have to put up with mosquitoes for a day .
Mosquitos and flies are an ever present irritation, you just have to go with it and hope that you have a cab with lots of filtered air flow.
New trailer working well
That Fire Smoke and ash clogs air filters in a day
❤❤❤
Come on pepsi, give Chris a sponsor!
🔥🔥
I wonder if Kyle noticed how much better the undercarriage sounds now on that loader.
HEY how about an update on the BIG pond!!!!
👍👍👍
There are times I see Chris use a bucket like a tweezer picking up a toothpick. And days like this, with dirty, damp brush piles it's a toddler "helping" weed the garden. All about the conditions.
LetsBurn18!
Is the 350 getting a Graptor bucket?
I think so 😊
😊👍
Weather issues don't make your work any easier. Which one of the 20 jobs to go to first. When you're good. You're busy.

Was that flexbase yall put down for the driveway?
You got to love it. Got to have some more fires. Yeah that property turned out real nice. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🔥🔥
Are you getting the AMI Graptor bucket for new 350? For what you do it is most logical.
Does Kyle like how easily the 953 goes into reverse now that you own it?
it's been a while since i've seen you fill a borrow pit

I'm no GD tree hugger but why in F's sake don't they run that debris through a grinder and make some saleable pre-mulch material to plow back in?
