I live in itty bitty town Idaho. Inside of city limits, you just need to notify the Fire and Police Department that you are going to be burning, no permit needed. That way if they get a 911 call about smoke/fire, they can check the address and phone number then call you first to see if you need help with a fire that is out of control before rushing out on a fire call. If they can't reach anyone, in city or out of the limits, they can send someone to just check on it, rather than send the engines and such. Also, around the 1st of July and well into September, due to high fire hazards and all the forested areas in and around our valley, no one is suppose to be burning weeds or making brush piles to burn. Once the frost hits the ground, we can burn again.

Chris I used to have the same issue when creating smoke/fire. Simple cure was I called the local fire authority before burning. I let them know site address or location of said site. I can understand at times why people call out of concern, but after 2nd or 3rd call not so much. Keep up the great work and keep them fires hot.
Great idea Thomas. In the UK back in the 80's there was a fire at a football ground, its known as The Bradford Fire. No one in the ground called the fire brigade, someone watching it on TV did. Better that people call and its a controlled fire, than no one call at all imo.
@@DasArab in the rural US south we only have volunteer firefighters, it is a major deal for a mid day call out, and often they call everyone because it could be an hour or more between first call and a significant response. Hopefully the county charges her for abusing 911. I have been seeing so many people that can't mind their own business lately. Must be the Beer illness.
I've met this Karen's twin in the city. She decided to "trade up" from the suburbs to trendy inner-city living, bought an apartment right next to a bar, and is now trying to get the bar shut down via noise complaints.
We have an entire town of them here in the UK, They moved into a village that has been next to a race track for over 50 years, Now they are trying to get the race track closed because of noise.
I was just thinking that they should have charged her, no more 1 more time. Start charging these Karen's that abuse the emergency line. False reporting wastes a lot of people's time.
I'm from the UK and it reminds me (in a kind of opposite way!) of some thirty or so years back when we and our then young teenaged family were staying for a short holiday with some friends in a tiny village out in the sticks...it was a long hot summer and a drought had been declared...there had been no rain for nearly a month and everything was tinder dry. There was a pair of idiot neighbours next door who'd not long moved out from town and made themselves instantly popular by complaining about the smells from the farms, the noise the church bells made on practise nights etc...Against all advice the bloody morons decided to have a bonfire in their back yard...this all sloped down to a grassy paddock, (also tinder dry), an area of grassland (ditto) and then a farmers cornfield...we told them but they did it anyway...the flames were already part-way down the slope (though still low) before we were alerted by them running round in circles, panicking and shouting...they hadn't even called out the fire brigade (who were at least twenty five to thirty minutes away in town)...we and all the others (kids included) piled out, called the emergency number, and fought the fire with beaters, blankets, old boards, stamping feet, anything we could find, until we finally more or less extinguished it just before the farmers field...it was lucky the breezes were straight away from the houses and direct downhill...We left exhausted when the firemen arrived to damp it all down, but I gather the police and firemen were distinctly unimpressed by the twats, especially when it came to light they hadn't assisted with the firefighting, which even our kids, townies all, certainly had! After that, I later heard the next door neighbours couldn't get served in either the village store or the local pub, and were pretty much cold-shouldered all-round for the eighteen months or so it took them to get the message and move out...good riddance to bad rubbish...
Great story, some people are just to dumb for their own good. Good job saving the farmers crop from being destroyed. 👍👍 I really hope you let the idiots know how stupid they were. Be safe, stay healthy.

I don’t believe there is actually a law prohibiting dust from farms because working in wet conditions is near impossible and frankly, is quite stupid

It's always amazing how long it takes to really catch fire all the way through. Turns out that massive thermal mass does have to come up to temp before it'll start burning.
Keep a couple of spare hoses on board for your quick release, branches tend to catch and rip them off. Im a hydraulic engineer for Pirtek in the Netherlands. Great job and smooth operation my friend

The fire truck showed up at my house one november night after I lit my burn pile. My kids loved the red flashing lights and got to tour the big fire truck. I learned to get some hot dogs and chips to simulate a cooking fire. A fire man will spin on his heal and walk away the moment they find out it's a cooking occasion no matter how high the flames go. That's a fact in NC and SC.
Ive done that too, on the advice of a small town cop where i lived. I worked during the day, and was the caretaker for a property in town, so would rake the leaves and burn them in the barbecue fireplace at night when i got off work. I had my hot dogs on a picnic table on a paper plate, and the police came by, checked to see all was well, and said get finished as soon as you can, so i did. Took me most of the night to get them burnt.

I call B.S. If you're burning a huge pile of brush, and put a few hot dogs on sticks, believe me, your local FD is gonna put that fire out. There's a difference between a backyard campfire and a large debris pile on fire.
In the 50’s you could go down to the hardware store and get your dynamite. People respected each other and were responsible. I went to a country school a little over a mile from the farm. My dad would send me to the local country store/tavern with a note to give me a six pack of old Milwaukee beer 99cents and a pack of camels 25cents. They would put it in my bike basket and I would try to get home before the beer got warm. Life was laid back then. Michigan

Gen3tx unfortunately unless a burn is called in they are required to drive out and make sure that everything is good. A similar alert to the local FD should also be don’t to avoid unneeded call outs.

Some of us are still not back to work yet. Like Karen, we need something to do!
Yeah because of a bullshit title
It’s honestly mesmerizing just how fluently you operate that machine.
Ive been looking at the logo trying to find that machine. That's very impressive.
That gum tree exploded! Very satisfying!
Experience tells... You should see MY hubby with a chainsaw!!
Even more talented driver's here in scandinavia, a lot of them.
Dude's basically the Motor Function in the brain of a dinosaur that devours trees...
I dug a tree out once with my shovel and pickaxe, took me 2 years on and off
You're friends with my ex, right?
LMAO !
I guess there was no urgency. You can rent an excavator for like $500/day, $2,000/week, $3,000/month
I think my point is it took me years digging out those bloody roots and the guys manages it in 1 minute... Very handy tool...
THere are simpler methods, stump - drill holes, deep; pour in vegetable oil, lets soak and do over a week or two; burn charcoal or wood over the top. Something about the oil heats deep and takes out the roots. Took me 3-4 months on an apple tree.
Try living in Canada. We have more Karen's here than trees. I was just clearing 30 feet of shoreline and social media went nuts. The building inspector was called... he was pissed at the Karens for wasting his time. They should all just mind their own business!
World would a better place if they did but u no these karens cant help it
Careful, if you get too many Karen's they turn into a city council and can really ruin your day then. Someone down here disced a field. Hidden behind trees and mountains but someone saw it with a drone and reported him to the coastal commission.
Where in Canada are you? I'm in Toronto and it's not bad
My example was California
@@patriciawong5869 Toronto is the epicentre. We are in cottage country in eastern ontario. If you do not think it is bad here you must be one of them. The firemen love these calls! Gives them a chance to get out!! But, they don't care too much for Karen....
I usually call in a "Controlled Burn". They want my name where I'm working, so that if they get a call, they know to ignore it!
Good idea.
I got to do a controlled burn on a golf course. I called it in and they seemed jealous...
I used to run heavy equipment and this man is flipping AMAZING.
I'm a city boy but, damn, I think this guy is an artist. I can, and do, watch these vids as a way to relax. He is the man.
Chris I used to have the same issue when creating smoke/fire. Simple cure was I called the local fire authority before burning. I let them know site address or location of said site. I can understand at times why people call out of concern, but after 2nd or 3rd call not so much. Keep up the great work and keep them fires hot.
in one of the earlier videos he expresses they call the local fire dept and get permission before burning
That's men and women leaving work, or their fields, driving fast, and risking themselves to get to an emergency. You can tell the difference between a controlled fire and a brush fire. Calling because you don't like a fire is wasteful and stupid.

What this man is doing is working. He's working to enhance the local area, help the local economy, by preparing land for building work to bring more business and people to the area you have chosen to live in. He's also contributing to the country's economy, which needs all the help it can get after the past few months.

@John stephens yeah you should have tape recorded all conversations with the police and authorities then sued them then sued the perpetrators...lil advice to everyone a recording device that will record 8 hours on battery and lots of storage is cheap compared to being fucked over....I had a room mate borrowed a bike from my other roommate.... the bike got stolen ... I told the girl that borrowed it to put an ad in paper and spread the word that there is a reward say 100 bucks.... the thief called up to collect.... I went with her and we met the little shit ... first i asked his name and where he lived he said his name she said that is his name....he said he got the bike from someone I said this is stolen property and then that punk started demanding the reward.... I pulled out the recorder and played some of what he had said ... and I called the police while telling him he is in possession of stolen property and that's a crime.... he ran like hell... I hadn't called the police.... I wanted my roommate to press charges but she was happy to get the bike back.... my opinion is that you always press charges every dam time and toy carry a recording device 27/7/365 .... best investment I ever made I use it every time I contract or do anything business wise ... every carpet Instal job I did every house I bought every conversation is recorded in secret and as per law.... I do all contract or business dealings in public places so it's not illegal wiretapping.... also it's good to have placards on your business entrances and prominently displayed all over your business and business vehicles that any activity inside these premises and or within sight of these signs are subject to video and audio surveillance..... get the best dam surveillance cameras and recording equipment you can do mor run them in low quality to get long record times just get more memory..... as far as you're insurance people i want to meet you for real meeting them In their offices don't let them close the office door so it's legal to record in secret then get them bastards on tape saying their bs then sue the f outta them and expose their bs to the world..... if it's true it's not libel or defamation....learn every law where you are or do business about wiretapping and video audio surveillance and use those laws to protect yourself......I carry a key chain camera that records 45 minutes on a charge of HD video and audio.... anyone that wants one and more advice on security and protecting your rights contact me I'll send you a keychain video recorder for 64.99 plus shipping and give your advice in how to protect your self and others.... when you Get one don't tell people you have it.... if you serve documents such as subpoena eviction or others you need one of these if your in law enforcement or fire ambulance etc you need one of these... if you're an attorney you need it... hell if you're a Human being you need it

@rockn roll 7 am is very late, we start work where I live at break of dawn, and right now it's firewood season.
Happens here in central California. I remember it with both the airport and a slaughterhouse, both were there long before the houses.
Sad that no-one was taught the story of Cry wolf in the year 2020.
Funny how the story changed to crying Karen
I was just thinking that they should have charged her, no more 1 more time. Start charging these Karen's that abuse the emergency line. False reporting wastes a lot of people's time.
ua-cam.com/video/cl66ilQCCNs/v-deo.html
it's equally as sad that people don't know the Earth is motionless and flat.
Let me rephrase this, she'll get over it, or get fined.
I'd be tempted to go back one more day and start one more fire just so the fire service took action against the caller!
I really hope you let the idiots know how stupid they were.
Be safe, stay healthy.
Good riddance to bad rubbish I agree !
Don’t feel bad Chris, I had one of these “citidoits” over here in Nash County call the sheriff on me one time because the dust from where I was harvesting soybeans was blowing on her house!

Dwight Hicks pleases explain I would like to know
Dwight Hicks he was harvesting... you want your crop dry to harvest so it doesn’t rot and you don’t have to run the dryer as much
Dwight Hicks yeah farming is legal. Im not sure what points you are trying to make
Dwight Hicks i dont see how dust from plowing a field is tue same as dust from harvesting. You can plow when it is ~wet~ but its not easy and not fun. You can harvest when its wet but its not easy and its expensive. I don’t believe there is actually a law prohibiting dust from farms because working in wet conditions is near impossible and frankly, is quite stupid

As an N.C. native I can confirm. Don’t forget the s’mores tho
Took me most of the night to get them burnt.
where I am at as long as there is at least 2 people in close procimity to the fire my local fire department does not care as long as we dont burn down the forest and will just leave the moement they see at least 2 people tending the fire, everyone out here burns brush all the time part of living in the woods.
I call B.S. If you're burning a huge pile of brush, and put a few hot dogs on sticks, believe me, your local FD is gonna put that fire out. There's a difference between a backyard campfire and a large debris pile on fire.
G Alexander they aren’t going to put it out clearly
I remember being on our farm and blowing tree stumps out with TNT BIG BLAST LOL.
Sounds fun I would love to see that
In the 50’s you could go down to the hardware store and get your dynamite.

They would rather one call in and report a fire than have it ignored and turn into a oh shit situation.
Now if your Karen is repeatedly calling in and reporting despite being informed already that it’s a controlled burn and continues to do so even after being told to stop. That person absolutely can be arrested and charged for misuse of the 911 system. It’s a pretty big fine with possible jail time.
Best way to avoid that crap is to send a notice out to the nearby neighbors informing them of the burn. What day the work is planned to start and when the actual burning will take place. A similar alert to the local FD should also be don’t to avoid unneeded call outs.

Totally in awe of your expertise with your machine. Salute!
You got a GASP when you changed your bucket @16min. I am easily pleased & don't know how I ended up watching this.
THANK YOU RECOMENDATIONS + AUTO-PLAY.
In our area we just call the local fire department and let them know when we are burning and there is no issues
I see Karen and 6 of her friends have found the video lol

Boy that's a well connected Karen.
Always a Karen in the bunch!! 🤘🤘
Sick machine bro. That bucket looks fun to operate.
I love to see when someone who knows how to use a machine like its a part of them.
Two of my favorite things to watch, heavy equipment and fires.
All that was missing was the fire engine and the Karen in operation.
Your Ray Charles joke made me laugh out loud!😂
Oh man, too funny. You too got smashed by a Karen. Dang they are everywhere.
CRK Productions dayyum karens
Maybe Concerned Karen is really Cougar Karen who misses her Red light district time. To reminisce she calls the FD so she can see flashing red lights, men in uniform and young construction guys. 🤣🥰🥳
You should send her an autographed shirt.
🤣💙
Totally stupid and unintelligent.
@@ShowCat1 26 people disagree with you... Majority rules bro :D
Your a total professional at your job very fascinating to watch. Congratulations from New Zealand
I'd be the lady asking if there's enough room so I could sit in the cab and experience what it's like to be in a bulldozer.
I was pregnant and in my mid-thirties when the land owner next door to us started harvesting his corn. I always said hello when he first started in the field, so I finally made a joke about riding with him. He said "sure", so I ran back to tell hubby I'd be gone for awhile. Neighbor told me how the machinery workers, but I had no interest in driving. Reminded how much I missed begging to sit on my grandfather's lap when he mowed the yard.
Hahahaha concerned Karen. !!! 😝😝😝😝 That's great ! Thanks for the laugh
This would make one hell of a video game.
you must love having red flashing lights around
Had a Karen call the FD on me last year, they asked me if I had a permit, I said yes! It's the U.S.Constitution, he replied back " I can call the police and let them talk to ya!" I replied back to him " He would be trespassing too!" He left with his head shaking!
Huh. I never knew burning off was in the constitution. What does it say about it?
Its sp fascinating to see how effortlessly them excavators pluck trees from the ground
