Intramuros is the old walled Spanish colonial town of Manila,...the tour is worth your while n you have a very knowlegeable tour guide..... originally before WW2, Intramuros have 7 churches n 2 universties but unfortunately only 2 church remained standing after the war....Manila was the second most devastated city after the war nxt to Warsaw, Poland...another trivia...Manila was once known as the "Paris of Asia", because of the many Neo Classical , Art Deco n Beaux Arts design of the buildings, but unfortunately many of these buildings lay in ruins n never rebuilt in its original design...still some of these beautiful buildings were restored n can be seen in Escolta st. in the Binondo area where Chinatown is located...

Nice! My old digs. I went to colegio de San Juan de Letran in the 80's which is behind the San Agustin Church. I never really toured the place because my viewpoint was just as a student then. Never knew those old places behind the school. But I used to cross that bridge to Chinatown to get to shopping district bec that's where to cool off for free air-conditioning. Haven't been back in over a decade. But I always go that area when Im there. Thanks for video! I miss the old sod. Coming home!

The San Agustin Church is a UNESCO world heritage site. The local ice cream is called sorbetes. The Filipino ice cream is different because instead of milk we used coconut milk and it has fruit bits also
200 pesos pedicab tricycle fee from Lucky Chinatown to Intramuros is a very reasonable price. Thanks for being honest Mamang driver. But for the tour guide, I am not really sure, since walking around Intramuros is more fun to do unless the weather doesn't favor it. That little girl is so adorable.
@@chessmaster9842 nope. 200 was asked by the pedicab driver, whereas the Intramuros tour guide asked for 350 for each person. Not sure if he did ask for the children.
