- What was the gospel that the apostles preached - and why is it so different from today? A message preached in Wisconsin, USA in Dec 2009. Andrew Strom's second message in America after a 20 month absence.
Mr. Strom, I had a dream a few monthes ago and I dreamt that i flew into a place in a one seater very simple airplane. I walked into a town where a church was and people were standing to get in. There was a sign that said, Revival List. I thought, i know that name for I get their email. I walked into church and there was a preacher ready to preach and there was excitement yet there were very religious people there. I live in SW Wisconsin and have heard you preach in Wisconsin USA. I think I will hear your preaching again, because you speak a message that I have prayed for for over 30 years. Keep speaking hard truths . Church isnt the body of Christ. Its nothing but a country Club. Ive been praying for revival for almost 35 years in America. Keep preaching strong words. God bless you and your family and ministry.

Thank you God for this truth! And thank you sir. I was set free from over 23 years of wrong doctrine in a Christian church. I questioned a lot of the practice of things that my church did, like speaking in tongues (not how the Bible teaches us), getting drunk in the Spirit, Slain in the spirit, name it & claim it etc. A lot of teaching I got from my pastor whom I am not a part of the church anymore. And his teachings came from Kenneth Hagin and those Word of Faith people. Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Mark Hankins, etc.
I believe that I truly actually got born again February 13th, 2020. That was the night I cried out to God in repentance, and broke down at His feet. Because my life before I was doing drugs, making a practice of sin, having sex outside of marriage, lying, being lustful with money and my body.
After I cried out to God to helpe, and my repentance of my sins I noticed that the lies and deceit of Satan were lifted off of me as each day I was being transformed into the very man God saw before I was born. I asked God for wisdom to help me to listen to teachers to spoke truth. David Wilkerson was one of them. Then I listened to Billy Crone on exposing the charismatic/NAR Movement. I then threw out all of my books except my bibles. I got rid of every false doctrine in my room.
Sorry this is long, but this is important to me. I don't have anyone else that I listen to now. My teacher is the Holy Spirit. And just after watching your video about the true gospel I felt the need that I needed to be truly baptized. So again, thank you.
I believe it's going to take persecutaion and trouble for the church in America to wake up.

Wow, have I ever gotten push-back from the churches for this same message.
Once again we were excited, thought perhaps we had heard recently from Andrew, but this is old also. Does anyone know where Andrew is today. Is he still in New Zeland. How we did appreciate his videos and good word, one of only a few that were not excusing Bill Johnson and others. It is so much worse today than it was over 10 years ago, and we so long to hear a word of up to date observations as to what Andrew has to say today to the few of us that are standing against the heretical conditions of the church today.
I wish you wouldn't have turned it off when the gentleman was starting to cry out to the Lord, this is what we truly need to enter into together as a body of Christ

First we must look at John the Baptist. "I indeed
baptize with water .. but He that comes after me ........will baptize you with
the Holy Ghost and Fire ......the axe is laid to the root of the trees...... unfruitful trees cut down and cast into the fire"
Next look at at what Jesus told Nicodemus :
"Unless you are born again of water (baptized - buried under water) and
the Spirit ( Baptized in the Holy Ghost and Fire) you can not see, or enter,
the Kingdom of God" Next look at Acts 2 and see what actually did happen
to the 120 and then the three thousand on that day. Peter stood up and answered
their question.. " For the promise (of salvation) is to you, your children
and all that are afar off ... even as many as god shall call" Does God
still call people today? Yes or No? If yes, then "have you received the Holy
Ghost since you believed? They asked "believers" If not why not!? Yes and we have not mentioned Peter and Cornelius yet.

The Seraphim are not angels...they are seraphim. If they were angels then theyd be called angels rather than seraphim.
Ive never seen written anywhere in the Bible that seraphim are angels.
If they are referred to as angels somewhere in the Bible then please let me know exactly where.
Angels dont have wings and they walk among us...as strangers...and indistinguishable from humans..... as we know from Gods Word.

Scripture doesn't spell out many things clearly as sometimes we might think it ought to, or wonder why its doesn't.
But I have come to the conclusion that the word 'angels' (plural) can be used in two ways.
1. in a general sense which includes all those created holy spirit beings that remain faithful to God. Jesus said that the sons of the resurrection are as the angels in Heaven, Mark 12:25, none of whom have need or desire to marry.
Jesus says that concerning the coming of the Son of Man , Mark 13:32, not even the angels know the hour or day, and this would also have to include seraphim and cherubim, and the living creatures of Revelation.
There are other instances where "angels" are used in the collective sense.
2. There are times when the words 'seraphim' and 'cherubim' are used to denote specific classes of created angelic beings, as with the liiving vcreatreus in Ezekiel's vision and creatures and in the Revelation given to John.
Also in Job 1 and 2 and in 38 we are told not about "angels" but sons of God. These "sons of God" are definitely created heavenly beings, and it may be reasonably assumed are later in the course of human history, referred to as angels.

Do you have a Strong's analytical concordance for KJV words?
If you don't have a hard copy yourself, you can download eSword for free and that soiftware will give you access to Strong's concordance.
You can do a word search on every instance where the words 'angels' are used and from there you can gain some further insight.
Of course, we cannot know all the answers about some matters in Scripture but we can grow in understanding, as we humbly depend on God Almighty and continue to search the Scriptures prayerfully.
Understanding is a gift, it is not something we earn.
You don't have to agree with what I posted to your comment (I don't know everything about angels, nor anything else for that matter).
I am not asking you to agree with me.
If an opinoin flatly contradicts Scripture, then we have to be humble enough to move from that position.
If you can show me from Scripture that what I posted to you contradicts the Bible, then please let me know.
(For example - if I said, that something was dark when the Bible says it is light, or I said that something is good when the Bible says it is evil; or if it states that ALL angles have wings or, no angel has wings and I say the opposite.)

I just put the word in the search bar of my digitsl nkjv bible aka Word of Promise bible...available on the App store.
Now...when the digi bible does the instant search for wings...bringing up every verse with the word wings in it...which is what Ive already told you.
When the digi bible does the word search for angel...bringing up every verse with the word angel in it..it tells how Gabriel was an angel...and he was a man....and we must entertain strangers coz we wont be able to tell if theyre an angel or not.
Its not hard to put 2 and 2 together and see the big pic here....
You might want to get a digi bible...I reccommend the Word of Promise from the App store..or Play store whichever you have access to.
It makes knowledge and understanding Soooooo quick....also because its an audio bible you can listen as you follow along....and you can have it playing continually while you sleep...knowing your heart and soul and mind is absorbing Gods word. Its great. Hope you get one...if you access the App from your phone then you will download it onto your phone...and if you access the App store from your pc or laptop then it will download to your laptop or pc....It only takes a few minutes and then youre set...and the App store is open all day and all night.

PS. If you get the WOP audio bible I reckon the dramatic version is the best option..you will be asked...and each biblical character has a different voice and the scene plays out behind the speaker or the narrator...and once youve downloaded it you dont need the internet to listen or read or both.

I have esword software on my laptop. It does the same thing as you are talking about.
I also have KJC on audio disk and play it in the car mostly whereevre I go in it. I have a few years ago, travelled around Australia (my present homeland) playing nothing but Scripture (except for a short half hour or son when I listened to a recorded sermon given to me.
My preferred version is LITV (now printed as KJV3 I believe, by Sovereign Grace punblishers; it is a small publishing concern. But I do have some other versions available to me; I avoid most of the modern versions - paraphrases for several reasons)
As to angels, there are many things we are not told about them and we don't need to know what is hidden either.
That the angels of God can, and have, and might still visit human society and may appear as men, is plain from Scripture.
I have never seen an angel, and I do not desire to see any.
I desire to see the Lord Jesus Christ. But more importantly, it is God's will that His life be see in me, day by day and that my actions and words testify of Him truthfully.
That some angelic beings do have wings is plain from Scripture, and please don't get hung up on my loose use of the word "angels".
I use the term in the plural form, in a broad sense (as I have already intimated elsewhere).
Because the word angel appears in the text among men, as either a "man" or as "men", does not automatically mean that in their heavenly state they do not have wings. We only know from Scriupture a very litte amount about angels, and this is so we will not wildly enter into adoration of them.
We cannot assume that their visible appearance among mankind is exactly the same as they appear before God on His throne. WE JUST DON'T KNOW.
They are minstering spirits of God sent out to aid in the salvation of men and women and to watch over them to that end.
They can change form according to the will of the Father. That they appear before men, dressed in human garb, does not mean that they are dressed in human garb in the literal presence of the Most High.
Anyway brother, may the Word of God dwell richly in us, in all wisdom for His own names sake. Let us look unto Jesus our Lord and God.
The true good news that Paul was given by Jesus to carry to the gentiles is that Christ is in EVERYONE, and that the whole world is reconciled with God (who never left us in the first place). Christ came in the flesh to show us what a true son of God is with the Father dwelling in him. On earth, Christ was OUR MIRROR. In other words, it's like Christ saying, I represent what humanity already is, divine beings!
The sin he took away from the whole world is our belief in a mistaken identity started in the garden when we disbelieved the divine nature in us. Knowing our true identity (divine children of God) "saves and frees us" from all the terrible human thinking and actions (tree of the knowledge of good & evil) and enables us to live the abundant spiritual life (Tree of life = Mind of Christ, or, “mindful of Christ in us”) full of love for everything which transforms the cosmos! Colossians 1:27 "To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory."
So How do you preach the true gospel? If the opportunity arises (no need to “save souls” with a turn or burn message, LOL), let people know that they already are divine sons & daughters in Christ, and to go and rejoice in his unconditional love without needing to join any religion or be bound by any rules or rituals. Hug them (if they let you) and God will “draw them” and germinate the TRUE SEED of truth in them that you “helped” plant. Your job is done!

No incorrect. Until they receive the Holy Spirit, they remain God's creation, and can not see or enter the Kingdom of God unless they are born again of water and the Sprit. Jesus said so.

When Paul said - "Christ in you the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27), he was not talking about those who do not believe in Jesus Christ..
Jesus spoke on the night he was arrested, to a small group of 12 men (one who was about to betray Him, and was no longer after that night found in Jesus Christ - for you cannot serve the devil and Christ at the same time.). Jesus said - "Remain in Me and I in you" - John 15:4.
Jesus did not say this to everybody in Israel, let alone everybody in the whole world. It was only said, and is only said to those who actually and really believe and obey Jesus Christ.
Jesus went on to say that - "If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, you will ask what you will and it shall be done for you." John 15:7.
It is fruitless to think that Christ (Jesus Christ - Son of God) can be IN some one yet that person does not know let alone obey the very words of Jesus Christ, not just one or two of His instructions but seeks to obey all of them.
Legally, Christ did do the work that would be able to reconcile everyone back to God - but it would only benefit each person IF THEY WOULD OBEY JESUS CHRIST and live for Him alone all the days of their lives.
Most of the people in the world have never HEARD about Jesus Christ, let alone taken any notice of what He says.
And far many people who have heard of Him and say they are Christians do not obey the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Paul did speak about looking into a mirror - 1 Corinthians 13:12 and 2 Cor 3:18.
To whom is he writing? answer is in the first few verses of each letter.
He is not saying that all the population of the earth have Christ in them.
Have a look at Epheisans 2:12. Speaking to Gentile believers, he reminds them that at one time they were without Christ, without God, and without hope. You cannot have Christ within you and at the same time be without Christ, and without God and without hope.
Colossians 2:6 - here Paul says that those believers received received the Lord Jesus Christ. You cannot have Christ in you and have any need to receive Him. If you have Him within you already, you do not receive Him as if you had not had Him within you.
May I suggest to you - if you genuinely believe your statement, and I am assuming you are an honest person, that you examine carefully what Paul preached about Jesus Christ. To whom was Paul speaking? How many times he speaks about being IN Christ? Look at of his 13 letters (also his work found in chapters 13-28 of Acts) and apply those things to your own mind to see if what you believe lines up with what you think at the moment. Put your opinion under the spotlight of all the testimony of Paul, and Peter, and Jesus Christ, and James and John and the 4 gospel writers.
Ian McDonald Thanks for your thoughts. In Galatians Paul tells us that God reveals the Son in him, which is what he saw when the scales fell from his eyes. You see, the majority don’t know how to divide the books of the bible which creates todays mixture of law and grace doctrines that blinds people about the true gospel. That’s why we have thousands of denominations all claiming to be led by the Holy Spirit. @@nistan3 obviously you are not familiar with the content of Paul's 13 letters in the New Testament.
Nor with what he says in Acts 17:30 - 31
"Truly then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now strictly commands all men everywhere to repent, because he has set a day in which He is going to judge the habitable world in righteousness, by a Man whom He appointed; having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead."
If Christ (Jesus Christ) was inside everyone, then they would have no need to be saved from sin and spiritual eternal death - separation from God's presence and His blessings, forever.
You raise the problem that man has created tens of thosuands of denomiantions. These have occured because of the failure of men even good men, to try and organize what God does with and in people.
If Christ (Jesus Christ) was in every single person that was ever born then all the message of the prophets of God in the Old testament, and the message of the apostles in the New Testament is false, and you have no basis to use any of Paul's teachings, for he did NOT teach that Christ is in every single person from birth.
ALL HAVE SINNED - inc;luding me and you, and we all need to call upon Jesus Christ tosave us from the power of satan, adn the power of sin inherent within us and the curse and punishment of that sin.
If you or I do not do this you will not inherit the kingdom of God, nor will you see it, no matter what your own teachers tell you.
Ian McDonald I understand you Ian. I saw it that way as well for 40 years. There is a question the Holy Spirit put in my heart almost 5 years ago while I was struggling with this. It’s a question that requires you to let the Spirit answer it for you as you look into scripture for the answer. I leave you with this most important and loving question He asked me. Take your time to look for the answer, but if you sincerely let the Spirit lead you, you will find the treasure everyone is looking for. “My son, am I unwilling or unable to save everyone?”.
