My children are not yet saved, but child number two (the black sheep) has now been baptised... after repentance and has been filled with the Holy Spirit. It has been a month now, and he is a totally changed young man! My son was dead, and now he lives again. He was lost and now is found! Some have been blotted out of The Lamb’s Book of Life because they rejected the drawing of The Holy Spirit to repent and follow Christ. I think Andrew is trying to get us to realize that many of us have been led by false doctrines when it comes to salvation. The only way you can come to Christ is by the drawing of The Holy Spirit who reveals your need for forgiveness through the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The message is very discouraging. What I hear is If your not like Charles Finny your probably not saved. There have always been desperately few Finnys and Pauls. All Christians will go to heaven weather carnal or spiritual. If you are walking in Rom 8 then you should spend the message on Rom 6. That shows the WAY to Rom 8 living. As sa ys Watchman Nee in the book you quoted. I think you missed a step in his book, that is that the Old Man has been crucified with Christ. Otherwise you would be talking about that instead of Finny.

This isnt in there but I first got it from Malcolm Smith whom I highly recommend. The page that says The New Covenant IS MAN INSERTED AND ITS IN THE WRONG PLACE. It should be in Acts 2 right after Pentecost because that WAS the New covenant come down to man. The four gospels were transition between the Old and the New. Thats where the thief on the cross comes in. Secondly, baptism does not give is the passage to heaven. The blood of Christ does. But baptism frees us from the dominion of sin imposed by the old man. Our flesh is crucified in Christ Through the operation of God. It happens the moment you believe the gospel of Christ. You receive the Spirit of God and are sealed until the day of redemption. You can’t lose your salvation. No amount of an outside experience changes the Truth of Gods word. You need to believe the truth. All Christians walk after the Spirit. I've been christian all my life but I came out of the churches about 15 years ago...but I don't feel like I'm saved nor holy ghost filled...I would like to be! But I smoke cigarettes and I can't complete a fast but I've been seeking to be closer to him
1 John 1-8 if we claim to be without sin we decieve ourselfs and the truth is not in us. Its not that we Will not sin, its that we cannot continiue to stay in it. Santification is a process. I believe thats why JESUS taught the disciples to pray in this way. Daily asking for forgiveness of sins because we are still sinners. The difference between us and unbelievers is that we are fully aware of sin.

To live in Rom 8 you MUST COME THROUGH ROM 6 which is Watchman Nees whole thrust in The Normal Christian Life which Andrew refers to but misses the point. You can be baptized by anyone that is a Christian. That a pastor has to do it in a church is not biblical. Ideally when anyone leads another to Christ to where they believe they should immediately baptize them. Thats how it was first done. The rest we have added and its extra biblical.

No one was in my car the night He convicted me and baptized me in the Holy Spirit, so I believe that he understands The Need for a Solid Christian Believer ( Spirit Filled) to Baptize me. Andrew you have missed Watchman Nee's message in The Normal Christian Life. His message is there is a Twofold gospel. The blood can wash away our sins but it can never wash away the old man. He must be crucified. Rom 6:6 and Gal 2:20. Carnal and Spiritual. Two types of Christians.
There’s only saved Christians. All Christians walk after the Spirit otherwise you’re not saved. No saved person walks after the flesh as our flesh is crucified by the operation of God. You need a KJV bible to rightly divide the word of Truth.
Andrew recognizes that Christians were living at a higher level in the 1800s, a level that should be Normal Christianity. Sadly, he does not see that Azuza Street (and other similar movements) was a decline from truth. We are now in the days of the church of Laodicea (Rev. 3:14-22) the final apostasy (1 Tim 4:1;2 Tim 3:1), and true Christians need to get back to pure truth of walking in the Spirit, not an external manifestation of the flesh.

Issue: How clearly, EXACTLY, do you hear God from day to day? Can you honestly say that it's like having a conversation face to face like it is to a human being? If people DID, I can understand why this kind of sermon is needed, to awake people to what they are actually doing. There are a lot of hinderences when walking in the Spirit. "We fight not against flesh and blood..." But hearing and communing with the Holy Spirit takes faith, and without faith, there will be no closeness to the Father, nor any actions of cleansing either. So: Mindset is one: if you have a hard time understanding the concept of Christ dying, you dying with Him, and as He rose again, so are you born again, into Heaven as a citizen and a child. If you have issues understanding that, then you won't act on it as powerful or in faith "as you should". And with low faith, comes low communication with the Holy Spirit. God responds to acts of faith, miracles happen when faith is displayed. IF PEOPLE DOES NOT KNOW ANY BETTER, WHY ARE YOU SHOVELING GUILT ON THEM? Are people in the church lazy? Sure. Did you know that in hebrew, every letter is based on a pictogram; a picture for each letter? There are 22 foundational letters, we will look at 3 of them The human race, ADAM, (The first human was named Adam too, but we collective of all of us humans was made in Adam) Adam is spelled: A, D, M: "Alef", "Dalet", "Mem", as each letter is pronounced. "Mem" means water, while "Dalet" means door. This two letters together, means blood. It's an easy picture to understand! The heart has many openings of/into bloodvessels, or "doors/openings", while water or fluid is passing through them. DM, "dam", means blood in hebrew. Alef, comes from the picture from an ox, which represents strength, that which comes first, immovable, or is higher in order. It is a symbol for the Father, or God. A + DM, (alef) + (dam) = ADAM = God's blood... which is us. Our identity from the beginning, from creation, that God see's us as His own. HOW MANY CHRISTIAN PEOPLE KNOW THIS? HOW MANY NON-BELIEVERS? We were meant to live in the precense of God, that's our origin and our best state of being. If one believes that mankind/people are just a bunch of small, idiotic and insignificant creatures, but that God loves so much that He as to be sacrified and die for, to save the butts of our retched and miserable lives, we, who are just "trying" to get back and live in a holy state we are ment to... if that is the association that we have of ourselves, whyyy should we make an effort? So forgive *my frustration*, but when preachers and sermons alike, pinpoints our spiritual laziness, our decadency and lack of fire for God, they criticize the lack of conviction. What always puzzles me is the thief on the cross didn't get baptized and he was going to be in paradise with the Lord immediately

Andrew you have missed Watchman Nee's message in The Normal Christian Life. His message is there is a Twofold gospel. The blood can wash away our sins but it can never wash away the old man. He must be crucified. Rom 6:6 and Gal 2:20. Carnal and Spiritual. Two types of Christians.

There’s only saved Christians. All Christians walk after the Spirit otherwise you’re not saved. No saved person walks after the flesh as our flesh is crucified by the operation of God. You need a KJV bible to rightly divide the word of Truth.

Andrew recognizes that Christians were living at a higher level in the 1800s, a level that should be Normal Christianity. Sadly, he does not see that Azuza Street (and other similar movements) was a decline from truth. We are now in the days of the church of Laodicea (Rev. 3:14-22) the final apostasy (1 Tim 4:1;2 Tim 3:1), and true Christians need to get back to pure truth of walking in the Spirit, not an external manifestation of the flesh.

It’s sad that so few people understand Romans. All Christians walk after the Spirit or they are none of his. No Christian can walk after the flesh. It’s impossible as your flesh is dead and dead flesh can’t sin. We are crucified with Christ and the body of sin is condemned or dead by the circumcision of God. Yes it is all about grace through faith. You are preaching a false work based salvation. Paul stated clearly that it’s nothing we do but everything he does.
It is not reasonable to compare the average Christian to charles Finney. I have read about him too. That is like comparing any human to Goliath. Giants werent that plentiful. Most of us are average.

We live in this body, ergo, our whole perception of reality is more or less based on our anatomy by our physical body.
Yes, it is true that we also are spirit, and when are born again, the path to God is open in our hearts since He made us His temple - through Christ tearing down the veil to the holy of holies.
Issue:
How clearly, EXACTLY, do you hear God from day to day? Can you honestly say that it's like having a conversation face to face like it is to a human being?
If people DID, I can understand why this kind of sermon is needed, to awake people to what they are actually doing.
There are a lot of hinderences when walking in the Spirit. "We fight not against flesh and blood..."
But hearing and communing with the Holy Spirit takes faith, and without faith, there will be no closeness to the Father, nor any actions of cleansing either.
So: Mindset is one: if you have a hard time understanding the concept of Christ dying, you dying with Him, and as He rose again, so are you born again, into Heaven as a citizen and a child.
If you have issues understanding that, then you won't act on it as powerful or in faith "as you should". And with low faith, comes low communication with the Holy Spirit.
God responds to acts of faith, miracles happen when faith is displayed. IF PEOPLE DOES NOT KNOW ANY BETTER, WHY ARE YOU SHOVELING GUILT ON THEM?
Are people in the church lazy? Sure. Could we get taught more, read more, strive more? Yes, of course. But we are still children of God. A bad child is still a child nonetheless. You have to be VERY clear when you criticize church members, because often - even if it is our responsibility to have a good relationship with our Father - IT IS OUR TEACHERS WHO ARE AT FAULT.
Teachers don't teach anymore, they speak a lot of how christians are "BAD christians". You know, I haven't heard the Gospel preached, IN YEARS.
So speaking of teaching, let's take a look at hebrew, and I will show you faith.
Hebrew is the original language of God, the Original text in the Old Testament.
Did you know that in hebrew, every letter is based on a pictogram; a picture for each letter? There are 22 foundational letters, we will look at 3 of them
The human race, ADAM, (The first human was named Adam too, but we collective of all of us humans was made in Adam)
Adam is spelled: A, D, M: "Alef", "Dalet", "Mem", as each letter is pronounced.
"Mem" means water, while "Dalet" means door. This two letters together, means blood. It's an easy picture to understand! The heart has many openings of/into bloodvessels, or "doors/openings", while water or fluid is passing through them.
DM, "dam", means blood in hebrew.
Alef, comes from the picture from an ox, which represents strength, that which comes first, immovable, or is higher in order. It is a symbol for the Father, or God.
A + DM, (alef) + (dam) = ADAM = God's blood... which is us. Our identity from the beginning, from creation, that God see's us as His own. HOW MANY CHRISTIAN PEOPLE KNOW THIS? HOW MANY NON-BELIEVERS?
We were meant to live in the precense of God, that's our origin and our best state of being. If one believes that mankind/people are just a bunch of small, idiotic and insignificant creatures, but that God loves so much that He as to be sacrified and die for, to save the butts of our retched and miserable lives, we, who are just "trying" to get back and live in a holy state we are ment to... if that is the association that we have of ourselves, whyyy should we make an effort?
God values us so highly that He calls us His own blood. So forgive *my frustration*, but when preachers and sermons alike, pinpoints our spiritual laziness, our decadency and lack of fire for God, they criticize the lack of conviction. But conviction is based on knowledge, which in turn activates faith! If someone is not living in faith, you CANNOT tell people to act like they know better, because they DON'T. THAT IS THE PROBLEM!
We are bad children because we lack knowledge and the raising education from God as our Father, not because we are filled with malice.
Is it a "bad" human kids fault because he's bad, because of the lack of a parent?

@@peteschlamp7365 This might sound a little contradictory, but don't get me wrong, but I agree with Andrew in the majority of what he says (in all his sermons), and there is a cleanliness we actually can walk in, which we all should strive to understand and get into. You have no idea how hungry I've been for God and getting piss-poor results in the spiritual, and I've had no idea why, because I lack knowledge, and I've seen so many christians fail because of the same reason!
And I love the stories about Kuhlman and Wigglesworth and all of the faith "generals". What I fail to understand is where their legacy has gone! Why did the teachings of the first apostles and disciples of Christ die out so quickly? Ok fine, they were brutally murdered, but even with the faith-movement upswing 1600 years later, it still died out! We cannot criticize the john-doe christians to the degree many pastors often do, as if everyone possessed the knowledge of Wigglesworth but fail to live up to standard.
