I just got one of these brand new in the box at a thrift store for $8 US.
It was donated by a hobby store after it had been returned with absolutely no damage.
After reading the instructions and trying a test flight it was absolutely frustrating to try to fly.
You are not going to have any fun with the auto hover mode unless you are in a big wide open space.
I'm an experienced RC pilot and could not fly it in the house in default mode.
I had to watch this video to find out how to put in manual mode and actually fly it.
It flys fine in manual mode and is very easy to fly.
It still auto-levels making it pretty easy for a beginner to learn on.
Anybody who has one of this really should just put it in manual mode.
And then watch some training videos on how to manually hover and fly an RC helicopter and you'll be fine on this
and you will enjoy it so much more after you learn to fly it manually.
If you are looking for something that flys itself or is just super easy to fly THIS IS NOT the one for you :)
Once in manual mode it flys pretty much like a Cheerson CX-10 micro quadcopter that costs on average $15 US.
I hope this helps somebody and checkout my flying videos when you have a chance.
I have way too many flight simulator videos on there and will be removing them soon.
They are my practice log as I have been learning to fly RC Helicopters & multis.

Why does everyone criticize this drone?!?! It’s great!!! I love the feature of auto pilot! It takes off sooooo good!
My only issue is I wish the camera angle could be adjusted but it’s trying to get a birds eye view. Plus the battery life is short but hey it’s a drone the battery drains fast.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

You should probably get the mini s1700 its pretty good but sometimes i get nervous when its about to got to the neigbors yard or backyard.

I just received one as a gift, and I am completely disappointed in the product, when I launch it it goes about 10ft up then takes off in whatever direction it wants (sometimes it pops up 10 feet settles back to 3-4 then takes off in a random direction) at that time (zero wind I am in a large empty building). I tried multiple times to launch it so I could adjust the trim but it never does the same thing twice so I gave up on that, when I hit auto land it just shuts the drone off and slams it into the floor I fought with it for a short amount of time and then the battery died and I figured that must have been the issue. Surprise it wasn't the second time I charged it up it exhibited a very similar set of issue except this time I was quick enough to get it out of auto mode before it took off on me, enter another issue 10-15 seconds after it comes out of auto mode it loses sync with the remote and falls out of the sky or flys away... Has anyone else had similar issues or did I just get a lemon?

If I try air launch it beeps and it won’t stop and Manual it won’t fly but the lights are on
probably the battery is low.
Mine won't take off it has before but it's fully charged and it's connected to the controller the propellers won't spin

These things cut me in two spots, and they don't stay still when they hover.
Try adjusting the trim, I have onr, that might do it.

Unfortunately, I did what you asked to, I pulled down the left joystick and pressed autolaunch but nothing happened (I already made sure everything else was ok)
Okay, perhaps I just had to turn it off and turn it on and it worked, but now my question is: how do I connect my cellphone to the camera?
I saw a review on another youtube video, and the drone only gets 4 minutes, and he was flying it, and lost control after going pretty high, But I think he was around the 4 minutes and the drone just flew on its own. It eventually landed with no control.

The S1350 drone goes in and out of manual mode during flight which makes it very hard to control when your trying to come down and it wont because its in auto mode all of a sudden. And it will not hover, it goes off in any direction without touching the controls even on a very calm zero wind day? Am I the only one with all these problems? How do you calibrate this model?
Another big problem is it just falls out of the sky when it decides to go into auto mode, last one was from around 30' which broke 2 guards off.

Yesterday I bought the sky viper m500 nano drone and I can't get it on, it's charged and everything but I can't get it. any solutions? I've replaced the batteries and made sure it was charged like 4-5 times
Sam Newman same prob you have to make sure the thumb stick that makes it go up and down is all the way down and press the auto launch button once they both are not blinking
I had the same problem, charge it fully,, turn on controller, then drone, and put the drone on a flat surface and go into manual mode for a surefire test

How do you calibrate the newer models? I have the S1350 and it does not calibrate by pushing the sticks down and out like the other models? And my drone will not hover without gliding off in some direction. I have tried the trim but that does not help either?

we have the same problem. this was a xmas present and the drone still on the ground.
Mariela Muniz move the stick on the left down COMPLETELY and make sure you are not in the middle of 2 sensitivities, then press auto launch

How do I set the altitude hold?
What I have found is that the altitute is inconsistent, try maunal mode, trust me, you will have much better control, I can make a video about it if you want me to.

The V950HD I have is a piece of junk. At close distance it drops out and crashes on it's own. Jerks on one direction or another and crashes. Cheap easy to break plastic POS.
my battery is lasting very long maybe 5 10 minutes
The drones have a very rapid release battery, meaning that the charge is going to be lost, as the drone uses a lot of energy. 10 minutes is above what's expected, and 5 is kinda average.

I have the v2400HD these things are utter garbage the remote on this thing loses range after 100feet and the drone slams into the ground. Auto Hover is a joke, it auto hovers and does whatever it wants to. Manual mode I have flown with all 3 settings, they are terrible as well as it seems like the drone just does what it wants to.
