  • Improving the 'acoustic' sound even further.
I failed to mention that the pedal also works well with the PRS Hollowbody II SE Peetzo/Pee-etso/Pie-zo guitar, and comes with a few appropriate IRs built-in.

Thanks for sharing. There aren’t many videos that focus on using IRS with violins. I too like the Italian violin IR produced by 3 Sigma Audio, although it’s V1 2a that works best with my instrument and set-up.
I use the Flamma FS07 Cab as my IR loader, having been attracted to the price and the fact that it is stereo in and out (although I run it in mono into my multi-effect pedal). It’s an excellent entry point for IR experimentation, although the TC Electronic was on my short list.
I place it on my board right after my Electro-Harmonix Bass9 Bass Machine, so I can approximate a ‘cello tone, again using a 3 Sigma Audio ‘cello IR and the virtual bass setting on the Bass9. While I don’t think it’ll ever replace the real thing it’s a reasonable facsimile-or at least it will be once I dial it in. 🙂 For violin tone, IRs are a nice addition for those times you tire of tone manipulation and want something that sounds a bit more organic. 🎻

      I can't remember off-hand, sorry. I suspect it's just the defaults though.
