Just found your site. Enjoying the various videos and learning. One thing I would like to see and hear are the dosages, frequencies, etc. in one spot. Such as, how often do you worm, CDT, copper, etc. your goats and sheep. How often do you feed goats and sheep? I’ll continue watching and maybe see where you have already done one on it. Thx
Thanks for the input. We copper bolus twice a year and CDT once a year. However, we stopped CDT over our closed heard. We only worn as needed using the famacha eye score method. We have taken a less is better management approach to build stronger genetics 🧬 in the herd. If there is enough pasture we only feed a little every few days just to keep the goats coming into the catch pen. Hope this is helpful and thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🤠
I have a buck like that. I doubt it would work unless you could back him in the chute. 😂. Fortunately our buck is pretty mellow. Thanks for watching 👍🏼🐐🤠
Honestly he wasn’t using it properly. I helped him locate a standing style chute with a ramp that the sides open. When we set it up and I showed him how the head gate worked he commented he wasn’t using the tilt table correctly. I tried it without the pads first but you have to use the pads for goats as well. It was something I have wanted but was out of budget. All I can say is a good friend and a blessing from God 👍🏼🐐🤠

Oh I wish I could get one...how does it work with a buck that has 3ft horn span?

Is your soil lacking in copper? Do you feed minerals with copper?
We use loose minerals with a higher ppm of copper and cooper bolus. Goats require more copper that most animals. Our soil is low copper as well 👍🏼🐐🤠
Why did the previous owner of the chute not like it?
Honestly he wasn’t using it properly. I helped him locate a standing style chute with a ramp that the sides open.
