This is a short edit of the original crowdfunding video we used in 2017 on Indiegogo to finance the production of the Roofus from prototypes stage to production. Thousands of orders were received from over 95 countries and we then spent an unexpected 18 months producing the product to meet our strict quality and accuracy specifications.

That is an amazing tool and I'm jealous because I didn't think of something like that. Thank you guys for creating such a great tool that will make our jobs easier. I haven't bought one yet but me and my father are going to buy one soon.

Although it is not designed for steel fabrication, is a versatile tool.
I woul like to see a video of use and performance on a hss 8x8x1/2.
Doing stuff like measuring and tracing centers or laying out marks.

Hello Eddy, thanks for the comment, we do have a lot of steel fab buyers, more so for boat building though. For boiler making, the terminology used on the tool does not make any sense to you guys but if it was designed specifically for steel fab and pipe fitters, we could make it click as soon as you pick it up. We hope to create a steel fab version in the near future that will replace your combination set.

Yes you can get Roofus with Inch graduations in both Pro and Standard models. This is called the US/IMPERIAL under the two choices bar when you make your order on Indiegogo.
You can get a roofus for $65 USD (90 AUD including free postage) This is the standard model which offers all the same functionality as the Pro, it is made of robust metal replacement glass fiber filled composite plastic, offers the same accuracy, just a cheaper model.

They will begin reaching some retail stores as early as January 2019.. You will receive any Roofus model ordered via the link in January or February 2019 going by our current schedule of orders. You will notice that it has taken us over 1 year longer to get to production that what we first predicted, but this is the nature of crowdfunding and developing brand new products, especially measuring products.
Roofus Pros are beginning to ship to our early customers in just 3-4 days time.

Thanks for the suggestion, we are doing this now. We just had to provide the production model as the one in the video was a prototype and ended up requiring major design adjustments to allow mass production. This took some time!

Bought via an ad on Instagram. Not impressed with what I received in the post. Not the same as the one being demoed in the above video which I didn’t mind until I tried to unlock it. Lock doesn’t work. Constantly stiff. Neither locked nor unlocked. If it was not sent by you, your name and brand is being used by another. Not impressed at all
Hello Honey Meade, we have never promoted an advert on Instagram before. Was it hosted by the name 'Wellasar' or 'Enjoy repair'?
These were both scams held by some crooks using our videos and photographs around one month ago which we had to shut down. You have most definitely received a fake copy of our product as we function test and quality inspect every single product that we sell. In fact, every tool shipped to date (BY US) was function tested by me (Sean Pepper the inventor). We only make top quality products that exceed expectations and we have only received one minor issue to date out of near 2,000 tools shipped to 93+ countries. This is a serious issue, please send us photos of the tool you have received to info@roofus.tools and also of the packaging (front, back and edges and LOGOS in particular). A photo of you with the tool also would be much appreciated and of course this photo would be for internal company use only.

Sean I am sorry you have had your business name dragged through the mud. Up to the point of seeing the ad I had never heard of a Roofus square and because it was promoted by Instagram and pay order via PayPal I thought it legit. Have since requested money back. Never buying off internet again unless via recommendation. I have searched and though the ad is still there it’s not being promoted.

I got scammed too. Dayily shop sold me fake Roofus tool. It was delivered directly from Shanghai. My credit card company has disbuted the charge. I hate to see your intellectual property stolen. You put a lot into design , production and marketing. Hope you can put a stop to this.
