They don't truly know what nitrocellulose and guncotton are; they grind up Origium into powder and that's the propellant for their firearms and then you need to be an Arts User to make it work as Guns technically qualify as "Wands" over there. No idea what would happen if you put conventional ammo in an Arknight gun even if it was the exact same calibre. But I'd be a tad cautious using conventional Anti-personnel ammo vs some breeds of Ancients; like the literal bear people called Ursa that are about as tough and strong as a small bear (but human sized) and the Pegasai that are like having the strength of a Centuar crammed into a human with horse ears and tail. Need to employ some special, rather hard hitting small arms munitions to be effective.
