Charles Rosenay, co-author of “Not Just Happy Together: The Turtles” book, joined Eric Dahl on the Rock & Review to discuss The Turtles band & their impact! The book has 466 pages and took years of research along with co-author Mark Arnold, to cover The Turtles band from 1963-69. The band is best known for their #1 Hit "Happy Together," but The Turtles had a total of six major hits. Rosenay and Arnold cover the band members, lawsuits, comparisons to the Monkees and the Beatles. The band played Tricia Nixon's party at the White House and they created the Gary Shandling show theme song. The book is an amazing tribute to a band that should have made it bigger.
