Hello, just so you know, at the time 2: 22 you say the s7 PRO instead of s5 PRO :) there is one more time before that that you said the same thing, it confused me because i didnt know which one you were talking about. Just to let you know :)
The biggest issue I've seen with Tineco products is the longevity (or lack thereof) and their horrendous customer service. I wish your videos would cover these aspects of any appliances.
Which Tineco product did you experience the biggest issue with longevity? My S12 is about 5 years old and has had zero issues. I've nevere heard of any issues with their products or customer service. Though I hear bad about other brands. Which you can find in comments on this channel's other many videos.
I've been noticing quite a few editing mistakes over the past 5 or so videos. For example, in this video where you say the S7 Pro has the bigger screen, on the graphic, the S5 Pro 2 is labeled with the bigger screen. Of course, no one is perfect and mistakes do happen, but like I said, it's happened a few times over the past few videos. Still enjoy the content and appreciate the fair reviews!
The one thing that would really convince me to get one of these is a smaller more manoeuvrable head option for tight spaces. I.e. around toilets and vanities. Otherwise it's only a slight time saver as you still need a traditional mop and vacuum for those tighter spots.
@@randomrazr A microfibre flat mop, with a moistened pad - with a fluffy style, you could actually run the flat side against the baseboard to clean the entire baseboard and the gap at the same time. However, if you're cleaning 99% of your floors well with a Mop Vac like these, there isn't much dirt left to accumulate on the edges/baseboards. It's the same principal with robot vacs imo. They don't clean as well as traditional vacuums, but they can be set to clean daily - either the entire home OR just around entrances - and keep dirt levels low/prevent accumulation and as a result, your floors are cleaner because they're 97% clean everyday vs 99.9% clean immediately after vacuuming only. And you might think, "ugh a flat mop for just baseboards!?" But ask any professional cleaner, flat mops are used to dust or wash ceilings, walls, and large windows too.
3:50 For me this is the most important test for this type of tool. I'd like to see a test on textured surface, similar to what tou do in the "crevice pick up test" for vacuum robots, but for dried on stain test of floor cleaners. So tiny grooves or something like that.
Recently snagged the S7 Pro on a Black Friday deal from Amazon. Initially considered the S5 Pro due to the cost difference and nearly identical features, but the dual-edge functionality on the S7 Pro was a must have for me as it will significantly simplify cleaning the edges of when vacumming.
I got S5 Pro and love it after using Dreame H11 Max and Osotek H100 Pro. It is more quiet, get more water to clean but the floor is less wet after cleaning, results are better and the mop is very clear after selfcleaning. In Dreame after self cleaning I got dirty traces on the next mopping. Waiting for more comparisions with brands like Dreame or Hizero. Self cleaning could be a category in ranking. I think it is important for more people than me. Best Mateusz
Great video! Great channel. Always check out your reviews before purchasing. Was set on the S5 Pro 2. But when I went to purchase the S7 Pro was on sale for $639 plus another 10% discount code brought it down to $575.10. Then I further rationalized it by using my 2% rewards credit card. So, I'm now an S7 Pro owner. Thanks again!
Hi! :) I have tested the Roborock Dyad Pro and the Tineco s5 pro 2. The Tineco s5 pro 2 is definitely better for many reasons, especially if you have uneven tile floors with grout like I do. The Dyad Pro is just ok. I used the Dyad Pro first and went over some messes many times. It couldn’t clean them up, and it couldn’t even touch the grout. I then used the Tineco immediately after. The Tineco did a MUCH better job! I was very surprised, because I love Roborock. The Tineco easily cleaned up the messes that the Dyad Pro couldn’t. It left the tiniest non-visual residue after (but it was wet cat litter which is notoriously hard for anything! lol). The Tineco could also get the grout in Max mode better than most of these machines can (none can get grout super well). Also, one of the biggest things was: the Roborock got tons of debris stuck behind the rollers even after 4 deep self clean cycles! Lots to clean with the Dyad Pro! The Tineco’s self cleaning is MUCH better!! And the scraper really works! ALSO, the Dyad Pro lies that it’s hot air drying. I’ve been shocked at Roborock continually to lie or ignore people repeatedly calling them out for lying about the hot air drying. The air is cool! Not even warm! It’s ridiculous! And guess what? I was shocked to find that Tineco’s centrifugal force drying while self cleaning actually left the brush dryer!! It was almost completely dry when I pulled it out. It also didn’t have tons of debris behind the roller. The roller dried completely about 30 min later and was super clean! All of those things (and the much better performance) definitely sold me on Tineco! I’m returning the Dyad Pro! The Mach V1 and V1 Ultra seem great in many ways, but they’re totally new machines. And many are reporting that the suction isn’t good. Also, aqueous ozone is not completely safe as they say. Ozone shouldn’t be messed with. Do thorough research. You’ll see why. Tineco uses hydrolysed water in their s5 pro 2 and s7 in ultra mode. That actually disinfects the floor and will kill COVID 19. Aqueous ozone is a sanitizer and doesn’t kill COVID 19. The steam MAY kill it. But you’d have to move extremely slow. I mean extremely slow to properly heat the floor. And tests need to be done to see if the steam even gets high enough to kill anything. So I’m personally sticking with the Tineco s5 pro 2. It also is way cheaper and tried and true! But if the Mach V1 Ultra does have steam hot enough to kill microbes, that’s great! But you’ll literally have to move at a snails pace for it to actually kill everything on the floor. 😉
PS- If you notice, the ONLY wet dry vacs that Vacuum Wars recommends are Tinecos (the 2 in this video). See past videos to see why. He also noticed the MUCH easier cleaning of these.
@@mandymorrison5039 I am currently using a regular vacuum cleaner, and what bothers me is that when I vacuum up my daily hair loss, it often gets tangled in the two roller brushes. I am torn between buying the Dyson V15 vacuum cleaner and the Tineco S7 Pro. My concern is whether the Tineco S7 will also have issues with hair getting stuck on the sides of the machine when in use
Slight mishap on your voice over or on screen data on 2:21 about the LCD screen. I believe maybe u meant to say the screensizes on each model in reverse maybe? I hope u understand what I mean. 😅
Wow I see the s3 floor one is still the best listed on ur website. I was gonna go with the s5 pro or dreametech h12 but now I'm having doubts. Thanks so much for sharing 👍
I’d like to see Hizero revisited; they have new models out and I’m curious how they’d rank amongst other dedicated hard floor cleaners. Your last review of Hizero convinced me to buy one, so I’m curious if it’s still relevant.
I bought a Hizero a few years ago and I hated it. It kept growing mold in the tray inside the cleaner head. The only way to prevent mold was to clean the head after each use and make sure it dried properly, which was more work than manually cleaning my floors lol. Plus, it was slower than just using my spin mop and didn’t do as good of a job. Have you had better luck with yours?
Great video. I would love to know how the suction only feature works compared to a regular cordless vacuum on rugs. We have mostly hardwood with a few rugs. Wondering if it’s worth having a dedicated vacuum for rugs or if the hard floor cleaner in suction only mode can get the job done.
Probably not as great and I’ll tell you why. The brush roll on these are both completely soft. The bissell crosswave line does have a combination roller, that has both hard bristles and soft fibers, and it also has a “carpet only” brush that is just the hard bristles. And in my experience that works pretty well on mid-lower pile carpets. On a mid carpet you’re not getting a super deep clean, but if you vacuum regularly and you’re just mopping around the house and you hop on to the rug it does a gold job for that. It really comes down to the brush roll, the suction power is there, but what really helps clean carpets is having a tight seal and having agitation shaking up the carpet fibers and sweeping debris into the vac. A soft roller does great on hard floors because the hard surface means the debris can’t be buried into it, so instead it’s buried into the roller and carried away, but on a carpet the roller isn’t hard enough to flick the debris and the soft carpet means that the soft bristles can’t grab the debris either. I’m unsure if tineco makes different rollers for these. I know they make both dedicated soft and hard bristle brushes for their stick vacs though. I think that would be a useful addition that could turn it into a mini express carpet cleaner that doesn’t use a lot of water. I think if the bristles were longer and stiff it could actually be pretty effective.
I've read in an Amazon review that S7 won't start self-cleaning program on a charging base when the battery is low, even though it's literally connected to the power source. Is it the same for S5 Pro 2?
Thanks for making this video after request. I would like to further understand the deep cleaning mode as it claimed to have electrolyzed water. Which i think normally it would required salt water to have the discharge. On other youtuber tester video saying that the warranty will be void if to run the ultra mode using cleaning solution as it may damage the machine.
can you include self-cleaning as a category? i have a tineco, but find that I often have to clean after it cleans itself (run plastic piece that has rubber under the sink because dirt gets stuck to it, the plastic area behind the roller gets covered with debris as well that I have to wipe of. sometimes having to pull hair out of the intake behind the roller, or out of the exhaust where it enters the dirty water container). It would be nice if in a future iteration they did heating and had a better way (maybe the base?) to dry the roller after the self cleaning. that would be worth the price alone for the impact it would have on smell.
Love your channel - especially being a vacuum nerd. LOL Can you do a comparison between the S5 Steam vs S7 Pro? Besides a features comparison, I'm curious if the steam actually helps with everyday messes. As someone who owns a vacuum, and a steam cleaner, I'm curious with everyday wet vacuuming, if the steam vs features trade off is there -- value for money, etc. I'm particularly interested in this due to the fact that I love steam cleaning - no chemicals, just water. I love this vacuum mop category, but my main reservation with them has been the addition of a chemical solvent that I've avoided using these past few years. So steam mops seem like the "perfect" solution for people like me. I'm curious though, for many people, if a steam vacuum ends up making the wet vacuums without steam obsolete. =)
Awesome review! Are you planning to do the new Roborock Revo? Im waiting on buying it until after your review. Others have reviewed positively on it, but wont pull the trigger until i hear your thoughts! Thanks and looking forward to future videos.
Does anyone know what the difference is between the S5 Pro and the S5 Combo besides the tank size? Is the suction strength the same? Right now, Tineco official site is offering the Combo for $100 off making it $399.99 as opposed to $599.99 for the S5 Pro. The Combo seems to be a better value because it detaches into a handheld vac. I'm confused why the Combo is normally cheaper than the Pro.
A lot of mistakes in this video but you can work out what is meant. When are you going to review the Mach V1 ultra? I would love to see how that compares to the tineco.
The s5 stream was trash. A lot of these hardwood mop combo sticks are starting to include steam, which just makes sense to me, and I'm waiting for those reviews because that features, to me, seems essential. Eufy mach v1 and the Bissell crosswave steam.
Thanks for reviewing, I need your help please I want to buy a new vacuum cleaner, and I am debating between the two: Roborock dyad pro, OR Tineco S7, reliability is very important to me, and also quality of cleaning, who cleans better and who is more reliable? (I had a roborock dyad u10 with lots of glitches and problems, so product reliability is important to me above all else), thank you very much.
I'd love for one of the debris to be some pet hair. it always seems to be a pain with my mop and im curious if any other vac mop would be better than the one i got.
I have an s5 pro and it does a good job with pet hair. No trouble at all. My wife's longer hair is no issue either. The self clean makes it easy to fully clear the suction path
is there any power brush roller STEAM mop/vacuum. I love these brush roller wet mopping but would like it in a steam model. thank you for all your videos!!
i have the s5 pro 2. its been nothing but trouble. my dirty water tank has been replaced twice and i think may need it again (its something to do with the sensor in it i think) 5:07 . the self cleaning is terrible, it still needs more thorough cleaning to prevent stink. it works way better than the crosswave pet we had before... the edge cleaning could be better. The tineco solution is meh, leaves my floors feeling icky still. (i follow the instructions too) tineco customer service is lacking too, very broken English.
One info I missing is how hard is it to dismantle and clean it. In the 2022 comparaison you were mentioning how it is necessary to clean after each use. With the auto clean system is it enough ? Could you try it out ?
I just don't think the tech is ready for cordless mops/vacuums. A friend had a Dyson and a Bissell crosswave that lasted maybe 15 minutes? Then they just slowed down to where it was pointless to keep going. And the Dyson took 6 HOURS to recharge, that's ridiculous lmao
They make cars that use the exact same tech, every tesla or EV uses the same batteries that are in these vacuums. Also Dyson has no cordless mop except the soon to be released submarine, but that is a vacuum attachment. Second the bissell is nowhere near the best representative for a cordless mop. Of all the cleaning devices, the mop is one of the easiest to power and far and away perfectly doable with lithium ion tech. Now a pressure washer is a better argument do to its nature. Lastly dyson vacs only last 15 minutes on turbo , which is improper use and not practical as you will be clamped to the carpet many times do to the high suction. Auto/med mode will last you plenty of time. Im an ocd having neat freak and havnt used a plug in/ac powered vac in 5 years. LMAO?
No issues with my s5 pro. I love that thing, so quiet and does a great job picking everything up. Dries well too, floors are completely dry in 10 min. Battery and tanks last plenty long for what I need. Can do the whole house twice on a charge
I feel a little deceived. This does indeed have suction, but the only place for solid debris to go is on the pre/dry filter, so it makes the vacuum as you wash feature pretty useless, as that filter gets blocked in a minute and the dirty water tank has to be emptied and cleaned. And dog fur is the worst for this. I wonder if it can or should be operated without that filter? I haven't tried that yet. I have "solved" the issue by vacuuming first. Kind of pointless, right? And water is spewed from the charging station during the self clean cycle (which works great). I have a sponge sitting there to catch the stream.
Does it miss any spots when going over less than perfectly smooth, level floors (like tile)? I like my Hizero with the big caveat that it misses spots on less-than-perfect smooth surfaces - and I mean very smooth. How about streaking? Do these machines leave streaks after the floor dries?
From robo vacuums, to cordless regular vacuums, to this mop vacuum - do these mop vacuums perform equally to regular cordless ones? And if not, do they perform better than best robo mop vacuums?
So glad to hear your voice, I am sorry, but i do not enjoy the new voice over person you are using in the filters area. Yours has a much richer fatherlike tone, and his for whatever reason comes off as an AD salesman.
Agreed OG vacuum wars sounds like a dad got a blue yeti and started a UA-cam channel about vacuums... the other guy? Sounds fine but more like he should be doing some 4am Billy Mae's style commercials. Not a UA-cam review.
I know they aren't made for carpet, but how are they on thin rugs and carpets in real life use? Also can you put diluted vinegar or bleach instead of the solution?
@@pspr33 Im not surprised I have to explain this at this day and age. the guy speaking (he/him) is speaking for his company(vacuum wars- they/them), so he is using the "we" "our" pro nouns to signify the other employees (they/them). the fact this needs explaining is a perfect example of the utter idiocracy our society has become and i threw up in my mouth just writing those pro nouns. Please, Dyad Pro Review???
Does anyone know what the difference is between the S5 Pro and the S5 Combo besides the tank size? Is the suction strength the same? Right now, Tineco official site is offering the Combo for $100 off making it $399.99 as opposed to $599.99 for the S5 Pro. The Combo seems to be a better value because it detaches into a handheld vac. I'm confused why the Combo is normally cheaper than the Pro.
I would love to see a battle
S7 Pro vs MACH V1 Ultra
A lot of mistakes in this video but you can work out what is meant. When are you going to review the Mach V1 ultra? I would love to see how that compares to the tineco.
Please check the video, where you compare LCD screen size. I believe that you text is correct, but picture is not.
The text is reversed. The 3.6 should be on the model on the right.
@@pgreen0001 If you will listen text without video, just text, that everything will be correct.
"they both had no trouble with any of the types or sizes of debris the we threw at them" You had to do 2 passes on picking up 6 cheerios lol too funny
Does the S5 pro 2 work on rugs? I'm assuming the suction only mode only uses the vacuum so it should work?
I saw you had the Roborock Dyad Pro, but you don't have a review video of just that machine. Can you post your review of the Dyad Pro please?
The s5 stream was trash. A lot of these hardwood mop combo sticks are starting to include steam, which just makes sense to me, and I'm waiting for those reviews because that features, to me, seems essential. Eufy mach v1 and the Bissell crosswave steam.
Have you done one with the Dyad Pro vs Tineco S7 Pro?
We haven't but thank you for that suggestion.
Thanks for reviewing,
I need your help please
I want to buy a new vacuum cleaner,
and I am debating between the two:
Roborock dyad pro, OR Tineco S7,
reliability is very important to me, and also quality of cleaning,
who cleans better and who is more reliable?
(I had a roborock dyad u10 with lots of glitches and problems, so product reliability is important to me above all else),
thank you very much.
Hi ! Thank you for your great reviews. Please, I would like to know if I can use this type of vaccums without filling the water tank.
I'd love for one of the debris to be some pet hair. it always seems to be a pain with my mop and im curious if any other vac mop would be better than the one i got.
mine dont always pick it up, just clumps it up and leaves it behind.
I have an s5 pro and it does a good job with pet hair. No trouble at all. My wife's longer hair is no issue either. The self clean makes it easy to fully clear the suction path
@@jessechristman1471 Thank you for that information! I'll take that into consideration my next purchase. thank you again!
is there any power brush roller STEAM mop/vacuum. I love these brush roller wet mopping but would like it in a steam model. thank you for all your videos!!
I think bissell makes one
What do you think about the Tineco ONE S5 Combo - is that a great deal for prime day? Or too much of a compromise?
Thank you
Welcome!
Is it better to get one of the Robo Vac and mom units? Do they clean better than these? Thank you, Jeff
Oh my god is as actually looking for s5 on the channel the other day and wondering how come it’s not there !
I have the Tineco Floor S3 Extreme!! AWESOME!! way better than crosswave
Glad you are happy with it!
2:26 Don't wanna be rude but I think you got these mixed up
Vacuum wars❤
Would love to see a comparison between Tineco S5 or S7 vs Dyson V15 Detect Submarine
You gotta review the roborock DYAD PRO! It seems perfect!
Can you please review the Shark Hydrovac XL (corded version)?
Can you do rugby clean Mach v1 ultra
i have the s5 pro 2. its been nothing but trouble. my dirty water tank has been replaced twice and i think may need it again (its something to do with the sensor in it i think) 5:07 . the self cleaning is terrible, it still needs more thorough cleaning to prevent stink. it works way better than the crosswave pet we had before... the edge cleaning could be better. The tineco solution is meh, leaves my floors feeling icky still. (i follow the instructions too) tineco customer service is lacking too, very broken English.
What's the difference between the S5 and the S5 Pro 2? I can't find anything...
One info I missing is how hard is it to dismantle and clean it. In the 2022 comparaison you were mentioning how it is necessary to clean after each use. With the auto clean system is it enough ? Could you try it out ?
I love my ifloor2, but i need something that runs longer than 15 minutes. If this truly runs longer and runs 40min its worth the money.
With either of them can you JUST vacuum WITHOUT MOPING?? I don’t want to always wet the floor just to pick up a few dry messes. Please answer
havent seen you tackle the S5 steam yet...... any plans on that? Looking very promising!
Could you do comparison between the newest dreame h13 pro vs tineco s7 pro?

I have no problem running my s3 on high speed for 15+ minutes. In fact, I've never run our of charge and we only have carpet in one room.
Who foes your music on the outro i like it
@vacuumwars it would be great to do a review if floor cleaning liquids make a difference and which ones are compatible with other robots
Waiting for Eufy V1 Ultra steam mop vac review!
Also Dyson submarine as well obviously.
We are putting our finishing touches on our review of the Dyson V15s Submarine for release tomorrow, 4pm est!
Been on the fence for a while deciding to pick up one s5/s7 or the one that is corded with steam.
I just bought original S5 Pro so of course they now have S5 Pro 2
I just need to know if it mops scraped hardwood floors and tile well. I use my rigid shop vac to pick up all the debris
Can you do a review on eufy mach V1 ultra mop?
The screen sizes are swapped. Your voice says the right vacuum and right screen size.
looks like you have a typo at 2:24, you show S5 pro 2 as having the bigger screen at 3.6"
is the mopping portion a major feature on these? we would really want it to mop well.
Nice, i want one of these.
Do you think the Tineco S7 would be better than the Hizero F803 or the new F500?
From robo vacuums, to cordless regular vacuums, to this mop vacuum - do these mop vacuums perform equally to regular cordless ones? And if not, do they perform better than best robo mop vacuums?
I think it's pretty evident how good they work from the tests shown in this video.
nice vid. very informative
Glad you liked it!
Headlight makes it worth the extra dollars
Will you be reviewing the Bissell Croswave Hydrosteam in the near future?
What is the difference between S5 Pro 2 and the S5 extreme at Best Buy ?
$700 for a mop is just outrageous
@2:24 you state screen size but your graphics do not match the narration so it's quite confusing as to which unit has which screen.
Can we use this on carpet or does it only work on hard floor?
So glad to hear your voice, I am sorry, but i do not enjoy the new voice over person you are using in the filters area. Yours has a much richer fatherlike tone, and his for whatever reason comes off as an AD salesman.
for real
We are trying some new narrators these days, but we aren't losing the main man at all. No worries there! Glad to hear you enjoy his voice. Thank you.
Agreed OG vacuum wars sounds like a dad got a blue yeti and started a UA-cam channel about vacuums... the other guy? Sounds fine but more like he should be doing some 4am Billy Mae's style commercials. Not a UA-cam review.
I thought this channel was a 1 man show until just now 😢😂
Eufy mach v1 review please!
Hi! Can you do a dreame review as well please. :)
Tineco Floor ONE S5 Smart Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner
Are these safe for laminate flooring?
Anyone know if there is much of a difference to warrant the price increase between the s3 and these
hi sorry i want to buy vaccum but i dont know this one better or v15 dyson ! ?
Very good info video about Tineco’s mop/vacuum combo. Also at the end of the video the AI images were pretty cool not going to lie. Keep it up!
I know they aren't made for carpet, but how are they on thin rugs and carpets in real life use? Also can you put diluted vinegar or bleach instead of the solution?
Our main man is still here! We are enjoying trying some new people while we get used to releasing more content.
@@VacuumWars HUH
possible to compare with dreame or roborock dyad ?
Can you compare it with roborock days please?
Wish someone introduce robot mop with such roller system
Another great video.
what?! this made zero sense
@@mainsource8030 okay?
@@pspr33 Im not surprised I have to explain this at this day and age. the guy speaking (he/him) is speaking for his company(vacuum wars- they/them), so he is using the "we" "our" pro nouns to signify the other employees (they/them). the fact this needs explaining is a perfect example of the utter idiocracy our society has become and i threw up in my mouth just writing those pro nouns.
