- A little boy who managed to crawl inside a toy machine had to be rescued by police in Queensland, Australia. The 3-year-old must have caught on to the fact that these claw-type games almost never catches the fluffy prize. So he went inside to fetch one himself and then got stuck. His dad told him to crawl to the back corner and cover his eyes, away from where police broke the glass. Inside Edition Digital has more.

@@mugiwara6235the minute they start walking, they can get into anything whenever they can. You can't really supervise them all the time. The minute his parent got distracted he just crawled in. Try being a parent and you will understand how hard it is. 24/7 being a security to them while doing other things at the same time.
How on earth did a three year old manage to get himself trapped in the claw machine in the first place.
Parents were encouraging stealing and then he couldn't get out.

The craw marchine has a inner glass that is the same high as him. A parent or adult must have lift him up and over it

I used to work in an arcade with one of these and there's a door on the back to refill the machine. So there's other ways of getting him out then breaking the glass but ok...
Literally, there is no need to call the cops. Just tell the manager that your kid is in the machine, and they will get the key and get him out. But I guess that's too complicated.

Think it was pretty cool the officers gave the kid a toy even though it ain’t his 😅
And yes, parents should be responsible for the damages. Otherwise they should have waited or tried the claw machine themselves 😏

Typically, it's an outside company that restocks these machines. The staff might not have had a key.

The amount of time it would take a fumbling toddler to maneuver his way into that thing without his parents noticing is absurd. It could happen but I hope they pull the security footage to see if the parents were putting him up to it. It needs to be investigated at the very least
This happened to a friend's kid nearly 30 years ago. She was talking to him while grabbing the other kid from a stroller. She thinks he got into the chute (so she could still hear him), he stopped talking, she didn't see him and started running around looking for him. All in a flash. Someone saw him poke his arm and and directed him back out of the chute. I'd have thought technology would have been changed by now.
You would be surprised how quickly kids can move when they want to. Until we know the story, I reserve judgement.

Yes, but the machine belongs to a business outside of these premises. Maybe they were contacted, and too faraway or cops wanted to have fun lol

Imagine the person that refills the machine arriving to the machine to find out that the glass has been broken

It's just like the little girl years ago who also got stuck in a claw machine at a local pizza parlor who wanted to get a yellow toy ball for her older sister and decided to crawl in and have to wait for the fire dept. to rescue her (Resulting to her being grounded from her mother along with her sister as well who doubled dared her to do it)! @@Gibmeprimogemss by punishing the child and telling them it was wrong is how you teach them right from wrong. If you do nothing, they will think it's ok and then do it again. Not giving them a toy is not harsh, even timeout isn't bad. It's just teaching them that they shouldn't do it again.

Fairly often, actually. Do a google on "kid stuck in claw machine" and you'll see it's not common but it's not rare, either.

I don't quite understand how this boy got into that claw machine, but one thing is obvious in my mind: The kid was not in there for the toys. He broke in, using his ingenuity, in order to get an up-close and extensive view of the mechanisms inside the machine. Bettin' a million bucks on in, he was in it 'cause this kid is an aspiring engineer. If someone didn't say/do something sooner (As in getting the police involve), this kid might have squeezed into the wiring like how a rat could slip into the narrowest of crevices. Might even be an aspiring Houdini ✨
