      @@endomobo359 Good for you! I just got the bug very recently and am currently looking for a starter bike. Like every beginner I started with the R1 in mind, telling myself I want a bike I can grow into, before quickly being educated on the stupidity regarding this 😂 so I'm currently considering the 2022 RC 390.

    Every bike I have owned has been immensely enjoyable right from my first bike to my current bike.
    Finding that one irritating trait that the bike has and changing it so it suits you is really rewarding.
    From suspension, stickier tires, exhaust or even a top box to take the weight off your back so you can enjoy your ride.
    It’s all personal taste but we all strive for the same result, the perfect ride.
    Always a pleasure to watch the vids and learn a thing or two. 👍🏼

  • @AntaresSQ01
    @AntaresSQ01 6 років тому +5

    I liked my 125 but it's limitations are honestly joy killing, the fact that you can't keep up on a highway, that it sounds like a fart can even with a full titanium akrapovic system, or that it's so tiny don't help, when I upgraded everything became a lot more riding focused, because I didn't care about having to downshift 2x to get up that hill at a reasonable pace or that I needed to redline shift my bike every gear to get up to 75 mph on the highway, the ninja 650 is by no means a powerful bike but with a nice exhaust it sounds amazing and it acts the part, it pulls like a truck from 2k rpm up a 25° Hill, obviously effortlesly keeps up with highway speeds, and is a lot more comfortable.

    • @ChaosCauses

    Gotta add AFV tuning with PC or smartphone software into the mix. Particularly, experimenting with open loop tuning. It's a bit of a dark art but oh man once I dialed in the perfect variables I felt like I had a brand new bike! Idling, power, sound all just clicked together beautifully. Highly recommending ECM tuning for anyone with a EFI bike.

    Whatup dude 👍🏻 your videos make so much sense yet they make me chuckle to 😂 because you always seem to find a topic to talk about that's true and so many people can relate too hence the reason it makes us laugh 😂!! I'm always on the look 👀 for a new bike in fact i almost sold my 13 Triumph Daytona 675R for a 16 Kawasaki ZX10R KRT edition only two weeks ago. Long story as to why it didn't come off but atm I feel ive still got unfinished business with my Daytona and still very much love my bike. So for now ive fitted some shorty ASV levers and stick with it for maybe another 12 months or so. Id definitely love more than one bike in my garage but couldn't justify it financially as i only put around 1500 miles a year on my Daytona but who knows in the future we'll see. Great post as always 👏 and good tips to 👏

    If i saw my dream bike ride by i'd think "HEY WHO THE FUCK STOLE MY BIKE!?!?!?" And i'm NOT washing the desert dust off it lol, took a lot of work to get all that dust to stick to it good and dull down all the silly shiny bits to 'desert camo'. I've legit clearcoated over dirt so it doesn't wash off in the rain haha. As far as i'm concerned my bike is almost perfect, like 90% there, i just need some fork cartridges, a rear shock upgrade and maybe eventually hotter cams, .040 overbore +55cc forged piston, and spend some time porting, polishing and port matching next time i pull the head off.
    I 'fall in love again" with my bike every time i leave my mountaintop house, roosting, wheelies, jumps, sliding and sending down miles of dirt, followed by miles of tight twisty canyon, then a few hundred yards into town. I'm literally the mythical 50/50 rider where my daily work and grocery getting runs are exactly half dragging pegs in canyons and half full send on dirt.
    The only bikes i lust over/want now are smaller vintage dirt bike basket cases, old 250cc 2 strokes up to stuff like the TT500. Though i AM keeping an eye out for an old 70's or 80's Goldwing/Aspencade project bike to strip naked and turn into a HUGE naked 'scrambler'. Bikes after the 80's and 90's are all the same bland soulless crap i have zero interest in.

  • @BobThePirateEUW

    ah man you're so right, i often get stuck being lazy and put off work on my bike and just stare at brand new bikes at a dealership (it's seriously 5min from my house - biggest curse of my place) but once in a while i just bring it inside (piss off the girlfriend because there's a bike blocking the TV's view) and just clean it and maintain it especially try to look hard for a part that could need some cleaning/replacement and then have a fun ride again...
    sadly i semi frequently ride through germany, if you have an aftermarket exhaust you can litterally be stopped till you either call a mate with a trailer for the bike or replace the exhaust with an OEM one....

    • @ChaosCauses
      @ChaosCauses  6 років тому +1

      Haha I do exactly the same man! It’s a disease being addicted to looking for a new bike but nothing like cleaning it to make you love it again! And yeah Germany can be ridiculous with rules but the unrestricted bits are worth it every now and then

    • @BobThePirateEUW
      @BobThePirateEUW 6 років тому

      the unrestricted highways are getting more rare and rare though, and often those roads are kind of shite and followed by sudden 70~100KM/H things so i just tend to take the more scenic route through the mountains enjoy some nice hairpin corners haha but yeah once in a while i ride for 3 hours just to go to a nice unrestricted highway just to let off some steam

    You should spray the chain lube on the inside of the chain. Not the outside. Since the centrifugal force will carry it away from the chain instead of into the chain, if you spray it on the outside.

      Haha this was just for the shot but I always do different methods to try keep it even however the main objective is to keep the x rings in good health which takes a few minutes then excess can be wiped off so it doesn’t make much difference

    I’ve done this before. I have
    Zx10r. Go ride half a day on low power mode. Even when someone decides to race you because of course they will. After a few hours .. Switch it. BEAST MODE!! No traction or wheelie control. Bam!! Fun time. Try it. I promise you gonna get that big fat smile and a “YEAH!!! “
    Of course then nobodys gonna race you because they know they don’t have a prayer. Dang. I’m goin ride. See ya

    Could always get new fairings...or the cheap unpainted ones and take up a paint hobby and make it custom. Stickers seem to work for me lol. Removing old decals and or adding different ones

    How about learning some new tricks on your bike. Like wheelies, or something more simple like counter steering

    • @ChaosCauses
      @ChaosCauses  5 років тому

      Haha I've tried wheeling but I love my bike too much to hurt my forks during practice lol and as for counter steering we do it all the time with out realizing but I love the idea of learning something new.

    • @izestorm
      @izestorm 5 років тому

      Well but there is a big difference between doing it unconsciously and consciously. Try going into a right corner normally. And then try pushing hard with your right hand while doing it. You could almost let go of your left hand while pushing with the right. It gives a completely different feeling to to corner. And to your bike. So maybe will make you fall in love again ;)

    Hey guy, come to Germany. 50% of the German Autobahn are still without speed limit. Here in Germany it is actually legal to drive 299 km/h. And in Germany you can also find the central sanctuary in honor of the god of speed, the Nürburgring with the famous "green hell", the 21 km long Nordschleife. Book a flight to Germany and just come here. An R6 can certainly be found here. You are invited. What are you waiting for?
