Hey sis. I’m Yarapan and I’m apart of the Hebrew Israelite group based in Indianapolis. It’d be dope we could get an interview with you! It’s a lot of misconceptions and confusion when it comes to us and our movement. It’d be a blessing if we can come on your platform 💙
I remember growing up out east they had programs that would come pick up kids up and take them to the Concord center thier was all kinds of places but they slowly closed the programs
I'm in Arizona but I grew up on Edgemont down the st from the park... My uncle still live over there his name Ralph Alexander... I played ball for riverside during the summers first fight first time getting shot
I'm from Evansville, In remember all these streets, I would stay on Gent street a couple blocks over when i visited at my Aunt Easter Johnson house ,she was a nurse and my uncle Hillary McFarland house on gent..I remember a building in the area where they played tickets in a building on a corner..I had cousins that hung out in the Reitzs. Gloria Roberts, nickname baby sista..love Indy Indianapolis, came about 4 or 5 times a year, ..still come but not in the area..gonna have to come through and see the changes..
I lived off 18th and Carrollton around the corner from Kountrey Kitchen and he is telling the truth home $300,000.00 in the middle of homes I grew up around neighborhood dosen't look the same turned school 29 into apartments and the corner grocery store into a bar. I cried when I saw my mom's first home made over into a place I never seen before, but Mike Epps is bringing the neighborhood back it's just the homes are so not in style with the older home's still there. I wish in all the neighborhoods they would take the money fix those houses for the people who live there then come in and build around them but they don't want us in the hood so the can come back to a area they left in the 50's Indy's leaders we must do better for the people and our future leaders.
Fuck softville I mean haughville w e that shit called fuk hard part fuk the whole Nap y'all dont be on shit come to Chicago bitch ass dude called his Daddy to Walmart talm bout I hit him lying like a bitch hating lame fucks on Chief what's hard bout dat weak ass city
I remember the Dust Bowl and the weekends at the inside swimming pool. I didn't live on the westside buy grew up in the 70's meeting so many people of all sides of town and they all were the best damn memories of my life my older sister knew so many people going to Tech High School on the 60's just opened up so much to learn from eash sides of town and so many people who impacted my life just fun and no gun violence, drugs and grocery deserts you could alwayys find a place to get food, our community leaders and churches need to do better then this.

Interview me next I got a lot to say from moving from TN hood to Indy suburbs. It will be interesting I promise let me give u being black in the burbs tea🫖 😄🤚🏾
Yeah i always said we have more of a Cali twang. Not as thick as St. Louis. Or maybe closer to Detroit 🤷🏾♂️ My people are from Mississippi both sides. And Kentucky by way of the Carolinas. But our roots are Mississippi.
Absolutely 🏹 Mississippi Indians that migrated to Indianapolis. Well one side, ran off farm land in late 50s Mississippi on my Dad side. Moms side, some went to Chicago, some came here, some stayed.
She said "this is where it all happens, where it all started at" then proceeded to tell of all the ppl deleted right where she's standing.Im pretty sure that's where it all started and ended at.
I feel like all Indianapolis hoods were family oriented back in the 80"s and 90's. This division inside your own neighborhoods is new age stuff. I come from an era when your neighborhoods were all like family. They could spank your behind and take you to your momma when they saw you cutting up.
Oh, I'm sorry I didn't see the lady's wedding band, so I didn't mean any disrespect. Yo, she needs to put on a t-shirt with the words, "Taken," so a brother will know not to look so hard.
You will only like indianapolis If you are from there, that place is weird asf lol everybody from there wants attention so bad I lived there before been all over and they swag is super corny
@@NaShanClaylove your videos just started watching..I'm 62 but been visiting Indy since I was 5 yrs old..my grandma had 2 brothers and 1 sister move there and got married had had children.. The McFarlands...I had a cousin that played in a band and had something to do with the black expo...Micheal McFarland...keep up the good work..
