- Hello guys and girls and welcome to FoxyRaven-TV. So today i am going to test the bloodied explosive elders mark and also the demolition expert to see if we get 60% more explosion damage out of it or if it is lower or higher, the truth is we get 80% more explosion damage with the demolition expert as seen in this video right here, we do also get higher explosion area of effect with grenadier perk card, dont trust everything you read on the interweb, test things out!

I think it might have to do with adrenal reaction /bloody effecting dmg numbers as they would add percent of base dmg to explosive. I think if someone was a full health builds probably wouldn't see the difference as much as low health by default.
It probably does more because of covert operative and/or follow through, i love my fixer, i got the same godroll as you from a vendor for 250 caps a long time ago,i couldnt believe it.
Thanks for this. I'm not sure 5 perk points is worth the little bit of damage (9 vs 16 per shot). To me, explosive is only for tagging, not damage.
Totally agree that 5 points is too much for that, hopefully they will buff the explosion effect at some point in time.

I'm building a bloodied elders right now what will do the most damage per shot?
Fully get what your saying and testing for, but at the end of the day, all 5 points of demolition expert adds like 7 damage to each shot. Really not worth it.
@@tiltdoherty Ohh i agree its a waste of 5 points right now on many weapons, they should lower the cost on the card for sure 👌 20% 40% and 60% so total of 3 ranks and 3 points at max would be more ideal right now.
@@FoxyRaven-TV switched to gunsmith instead, my QE25 Enclave breaks so faaaaaaast. Do love me some grenadier though, great for tagging at events and just visually satisfying. Keep up the great videos man, love them 🫡
And yet people slot it in the same manner they slot bloody mess (which is an addictive, not even multiplicative) 5% more damage per rank. With a total of 15%, it’s extremely inefficient in an already packed and competitive SPECIAL tree. I’d say demo expert is worth it, depending on the weapon you’re using. If the base weapon damage is on the higher end, then the percentage nature of the damage modification from demo expert is worth it ie like enclave plasma rifles and the plasma caster, etc etc. It also shines on weapons like the LMG as FFR is a fools errand on a weapon like that. The servers already rubber-band your dmg output on that weapon, so bypassing it with demo expert’d explosive bullets amps that weapon up to 11.
What's the point in using explosive shots if Demolition expert has been nerfed it no longer give extra damage output to guns with explosive shots it use to but now it doesn't its mostly used for actual things like auto grenade launcher, Fatman, rpg, and grenades now
Its actually more the base explosion damage on bullet that has been nerfed, demolition expert is adding the right amount of damage, is says 60% and that is more or less right now, its always said 60% but dealt more aswell as the 20% explosive damage from the legendary effect on the weapon them selfs, they used to deal waaaaaay more damage than what was written, now its actually correct damage as written on the effect, its just not the case for gauss weapons, they deal more explosion damage than intended.

@@blakekiddy1390 Yeah as stated, before season 18 update, explosion bullets dealt more damage than intended and so did demolition expert, now they deal the correct damage the text states it do, 20% for the legendary effect and 60% of that when you equip demolition expert, its actually been bugged for years and now they fixed it but the fix is bad in most players eyes so we dont want that fixed 🙈
Gauss weapons are still bugged with explosion legendary effect and deals waaay to much damage.
Its better to have vats hit chance now or critical damage for sure 👌
Weapon speed is not ideal right now with how unstable the servers are.

What I don’t understand is why run stealth cards on a explosive weapon? Doesn’t the explosive perk bring you out of stealth as it gives away your position? Therefore losing you all your ‘stealth’ bonuses from the perk cards? or am I missing something? 😅🤣
I see this happening a lot with the railway rifle too, people will run a stealth build with a gun that doesn’t have a suppressor but then they will also run explosive on it, completely mitigating the ‘stealth’ aspect and any bonuses you get from it
If the weapon is suppressed supposedly the enemy's will sence the explosion itself not your weapon. In the case of the railway only the first couple shots get the stealth bonus if you are (out of hearing range) and in stealth. Escape artist is the name of the card in agility that lets you go back into stealth after detected
