The funny is that her skills are not to the max . As Serie herself said Frieren is not especially skilled for her age . It’s just that her age is so advanced that even being a B+ student at this age means it’s like having multiple PhD’s consoles to everyone else
Frieren is also a prodigy and is quite talented, if she wanted to and put more effort in she could probably have been the most powerful being in the entire universe a long time ago😭
@@Nine_Guinea_Pigs I don't think that's how it works big man.
What Series says is a bit different, it's not that she's a B+, it's that since she focused so much of her training on mana suppression, she looks like a B+ if you don't take that into consideration or if that part of her training becomes useless.
Basically she's a A+ student who specialised in anti-demon techniques, but if you know she suppresses her magic she loses a bit of that advantage and performs closer to a B+ student that would have trained for over a thousand years.
It is exactly how it works @@boboyo3140
Frieren was the most powerful in her elf village, and she was quite young at the time, so I think she is really talented. “Not especially talented” coming from Serie means “a total genius” if anyone else said it.
Frieren can easily be a soulsbourne boss
True😊
You wouldn't be able to defeat her if they translated all her abilities accurately.
@@senjusan6359 It's fine, the only reason some existing bosses are winnable is the boss AI. You just kind of have to suspend disbelief and accept that enough souls or runes or w/e put the character on par with them in the story. And that a dragon wouldn't just spit breath at melee characters from the air constantly, then land too far away for them to reach before it could take off again etc.
Frieren would probably be a winnable fight too if you put those abilities into the same lobotomized boss AI scripts!
@@senjusan6359 I never played soulsbourne but a highly skilled warrior taking her on at close quarters would be enough to defeat her. As per the current arc in the manga.
Why am I hearing epic boss music!?
Frieren says she has been defeated, but she is still THE SLAYER. Demons are the biggest threat, and she has killed more than any other person. I would always bet on Frieren
The most wild thing about this? She *had* to have earned that title whilst on her journey with the Hero's Party. Since even Aura didn't know anything about her from before then. Meaning she didn't just slay more Demons than anyone in history, she did so in under 10 years.
@@nemasisdemarini8339 That is, according to Lugner, who has limited knowledge on the issue. For instance during El Dourado, Serie mentions that demons have forgotten to fear hear because she comes from the mythical age, an era that existed long, long ago... Characters like Kraft who saved the world in the past and nobody even remembers anymore take away the credibility of that statement.
Always bet on her against who? Anyone? because there are opponents she loses by default
Qual would have beaten her if he had actually had some time to analyze the defense against zoltrak .
Hes probably the only demon i actually felt bad for. In a way i guess its sort of flattering that an entire race of people concentrated on yoir magnum opus of a spell for 80 years.
@@boboyo3140 That is according to Aura. Lugner informs us that *he* knows her as The Slayer, meaning that more modern Demons still do, but Aura is the one to claim that they only know her from 80 years ago. She specifically claims Frieren is an Elf who appeared 80 years ago. Meaning, whilst she probably thinks Frieren is older than that, she likely assumed it wasn't by very much. And Aura has been a high ranking Demon, for hundreds of years.
Pls keep frieren out of the powerscaling community
pls dont. its funny as shit
I kinda agree and kinda disagree. As forgottologout said, it's funny. Moreover, I'd say it's useful.
Although it's unclear what THEY found funny. Personnally, it's the irony. The same goes for how it is useful.
It's incredibly dumb to powerscale Frieren. Powerscaling in general is dumb, of course, anyone with one active neuron can see that.
But it's ESPECIALLY dumb for this show. Which makes it precious. A precious stupidity detector. People attempting that are idiots, and we gain a lot of time identifying idiots.
meh. mere tier 8. city scale at best. no wonder u don't want our community
@@alexsjarif the manga is becoming more and more meat head oriented with each arc so I'd disagree. Power-scaling is a thing in Frieren.
@@boboyo3140 not really if u read the story even though there are fights those are never the main focus of the story. In the next arc we do see a fight but the main point is literally seeing demons are just monsters who evolved to look like humans and that they can not coexist
Staff broken beyond repair. Being repair next episode :)
That's always just a statement of:
"Repairing would be more expensive then making a new one."
This case was no exception.
@@fenix23 lol right.
She wasn't always super strong. A few centuries before the main story, she lost use of her right arm. And if the anime is correct, she seems to be right handed. She considered the loss of her dominant arm the end of her career and gave up fighting demons. Even after she fixed it, when Himmel suggested she go with them, she considered the centuries of inaction meant her tactics would be out of date. Frieren has been increasing her mana pool since she became a mage, so given that happened awhile ago she wasn't as strong back then. I don't know when she got her confidence back, but it was presumably before they killed the demon king.
Frieren is basically a female version of Gojo, as is Sukuna basically a female version of Serie. For not being a straight "battle" shounen, Frieren for sure have LOTS of power fantasy "HONORED ONE" characters in it.
I agree but i'd say that the difference between gojo and sukuna is way smaller(as gojo is better than sukuna in some things) than the difference between serie and frieren
@@jp-gb7iq Yes, the difference is greater.
I disagree. Gojo in jjk is the undisputed strongest of his era, second strongest in the series. Frieren is actually relatively low down in the list for strongest in her verse if we consider her by herself, partly because of the more realistic match-up based system (where warriors are superior to mages in close combat) but also because she’s not really a battle mage. Serie herself said Frieren is relatively weak for her age, mostly because she doesn’t study magic just for fighting.
You have brainrot
much much greater....id say not even the same ballpark
"Great Mage" in Frieren case is a title
I think at this point in the manga Fern would win in an even fight where they both knew where each other was and started casting at the same time because of Ferns new adaptation of Zoltraak being able to peirce defensive spells (honestly I don't think you can call it Zoltraak anymore, she's gotta name it already lol)
Absolutely not lol
She can do WHAT
@@Nine_Guinea_Pigs I mean this more as a wonder and to highlight Ferns growth that it can even be a wonder. In a real fight nobody would walk 10 pace turn and fire. It's super unrealistic. As we see time and agien frieren sets the battle up in such a way that favors her. Ie letting one zoltraak deliberately miss Denken predicting he'd use a huge flashy spell and lose track of it. She'd never put herself in a position that Fern could take advantage of her new spell. Now if Fern was able to snipe Frieren, that'd be lights out unfortunately.
Nah, she could sneak Frieren, but she's not winning a fair 1 v 1 😂
If Frieren wasn't open to emotions, she could be one of the strongest threats in universe!
just send a shadow warrior to catch her when she's lacking and you're good.
Serie The Strongest Mage In History Vs Sukuna The Strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer In History!?
Who Wins?🤔🗿👍
Serie most likely bodies the JJK verse pretty badly since (light spoilers)
She literally has anti curse magic that can turn off hax related to curses
@@georgegobin1839 She only needs to have Curse Reversal on and Sukuna is beating himself via DE or WCS. Anyone in JJK will have a bad time agains Serie just of off that fact.
Some minor spoilers, but Serie really isn't a fair fight for Sukuna. (Minor spoilers)
Curse reflection is pretty busted, and automatic so if she still has that at the time of the battle it's a sweep. She says that she has redundant defenses against curses even without it, but we don't know what they are. To put it in perspective though, Frieren states she can't imagine fighting Serie. Serie essentially toys with someone Frieren can barely consider defeating. She is by far the strongest mage we've seen in the series, and is obsessed with combat and destructive magic. She also seems to have magic hax that have yet to be explained, like catching a Zoltraak with her hands, or causing an indestructible blade to phase out of existence.
Serie. ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE.
Frieren can summon a black hole and shatter reality when fighting her own clone. She can undo and reverse multiple hacks. Yet serie still calls her lacking for her age.... Serie has a spell to reverse all kinds of curses which is enough to face every JJK characters since they rely on curse energy
Let’s not forget Frieren’s ultimate, almost unbeatable attack: Seduce
spoiler mention from the manga would be nice bro
6:20 *Almost beyond repair
the real frieren is the friends we made along the way
This a nice mix from made in abyss
Frieren characters vs JJK characters randomizer when??
toji beats Frieren with prep time and I'm not even kidding.
@@boboyo3140 Yeah ok I don't think that's too crazy a claim though lol
WOAH bro, atleast mark it as spoilers!
Cool detail in the solitar fight frieren was still analysing the diagoldts on the entire town, its implied that she was still not fighting at her fullest due to how solitar reacted to her dispelling diagolts, not to mention she wasnt pushed to the point of using that force attack.
If Frieren is this OP then imagine how powerful the feet of Serie can be!!!
Step on me mommy!
so true 😭😭😭😭fr fr🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
She knew all spells.
Probably Strong enough to kill Yuta?!😅
Strong enough to kill Gojo or Sukuna lol... Scaling of both Verses is miles apart. Zoltraak, a casual spell used by every toddler mage in Frieren is basically Hollow Purple, Gojos strongest attack. Ubel has a better version of World Cutter etc.
@@zigazdovc6175Nah Gojo solos that mickey verse 🥱🤫
Gojo and Sukuna would be killed pretty easily in the Frieren verse since greater demons in Frieren have better hax than JJK top tiers. Macht alone could kill either instantly and Serie and Frieren are able to counter him.
@@delevingne8691 In your sleep maybe kiddo...
@@delevingne8691 When you don't provide an evidence based counterargument it makes you look like a troll. Honestly, we don't know how JJK sorcery and Frieren's visualization based magic system compare to one another, but generally speaking mages aren't typically specialists in the same was JJK sorcerers are. They do tend to specialize in a type of magic, but most with formal training know defensive magic, offensive magic, and then a variety of utility spells. Energy is limited the same way cursed energy can be expended, we have mana, but we have no understanding of how Zoltraak interacts with the defenses of sorcerers. In the lore, Zoltraak is essentially a disintegration spell which penetrates standard magical defenses; but what that means in terms of JJK is unclear
When Fern did not recognized clone Frieren's attack as Spell. I Think Frieren has mastered her mana concealment so much that she can also hide the mana of her spell/attack.
I don't think that's the case because this spell was implied to have been used in the battle against the demon king and later in the manga we see demons who are able to detect frieren even when she's fully concealed so it wouldn't make sense for the demon king to have fallen for a mana concealment attack while lesser demons were able to detect her. Especially since Serie mentioned the demon king was able to see through Frieren's fluctuations (her mana restriction) in the first glance.
No, Fern did not recognize that spell as an attack, because it was not really a spell, but a curse. Curses function different then spells in this Verse.
@@zigazdovc6175 we don't know if that was a curse at all. In fact, curses are described to be spells used by monsters or demons that either put people to sleep or petrify them and that humanity has yet to understand. Frieren's spell didn't really fit this criteria of putting people to sleep or petrify them, so it's more likely that it wasn't a curse but rather something else that we still don't understand.
Not a curse. Raw mana manipulation. It's become so compressed and dense that it's a solid block. Or turned into a defensive collar. Otherwise a short ranged splash as fine as a knife.
Last resort weapon that a demon wouldn't expect because of how crude it is.
@@mrbluebell2735 it's definitely not a curse but I don't know if it's raw mana manipulation either because that's something she learns later on in the manga. Honestly we just don't know exactly what the move she used there really is, it could be something totally different from what we expect it to be once the author decides to explain it.
