No matter how much I appreciate Frieren, it still feels I don’t appreciate it enough.

For me the moment when Himmel asked Eisen "are you scared" and him agreeing with hands shaking (especially this!) and still doing what needs to be done was So special same goes for Stark. What a lovely show which definately deserves all the praise it gets.

its crazy that almost all combat in the manga are summarized in just a few frames but the adaption just goes full out on the action scenes. much credit to the writers and animators

The episode with the old dwarf Voll hits hard. My grandfather is showing the early signs dementia. I am considering quitting my day job to find an online gig, just to be able to move back to my grandparents' home. I want to spend a lot of time with him before it's too late. He is the father-figure of my life, and it's disheartening to see him realizing that his mind might not be as healthy as it used to be.

Frieren is the FMA Brotherhood of the present times. It has everything you would want in a show, with carefully and masterfully added elements of many genres.

The best think is still the naming of the charakters and places. As a German its always kinda hilarius to hear the new names. For example the two exam Mages "Genau" and "Sense" were named after the German Words for "exactly" and "scythe". The hero "Himmel" is "heaven" and the Party ist traveling throug the town "Äußerst" that is best translated to "the very edge" to a place called "Ende" meaning "ending". It is realy funny to explain the Story in German. 😂

Frieren is the most wholesome Dark Souls final boss and Himmel is a fcking gigachad.

What I love about Frieren is how the dialog is written, it is so human and smooth.

I loved the episode where Himmel talks about having fun on his journey even while adventuring dungeons. I feel like a lot of people really focus and work hard to reach their goals, whether its good grades or a better job that they really forget to have fun during the journey. You want to achieve these goals to be happier right, then you should be happy while aiming for them

i think this anime is so good because a lot of people in the world feel lost in their life and this anime helps remind people that you only have a limited time on this planet. the relationships we forge with others is so important that almost nothing else matters. its very up lifting for people who are trying to find and make connections with others but feel the same way as frieren and want to make that change to be a better person but just don't know if its all worth it in the end because of the fear people now have of others from when we were all locked inside our houses for a few years. IMO this show will help some people pick up the broken pieces they feel and put them back into place and help them to move on and live life to its fullest.

Himmel is the perfect Hero, not because he's flawless, but because he's not. He's a good and kind person, which also gives him mistakes like sparing the demon child. He's narcissistic but humble. He has faults, yet he's inspiring, He's just a dude, but he's a hero, and he's not just the hero of the world who defeated the demon king, in a sense, he's a hero in anyone's story.

I've been watching anime for decades now and Frieren is arguably one of the best adapations I've ever seen. It takes an already impressive manga and just makes it better in EVERY. SINGLE. ASPECT. It's nigh-perfect.

i had just lost my mom recently and my friend recommended this anime for me but i put it off for months. i recently started watching it and let's just say i was not ready to be hit so hard by the absolutely beautifyl story and incredible soundtrack and characters. it made me cry my eyes out a bunch of times

Frieien is approaching peak in one season. It's truly hard to find faults in this story. Frieren emotionally impacts you and keeps you engaged.

The attention to detail is insane in this anime, the animation is amazing, and the story is well written. I don’t understand why we can’t have more serious with mature and well written characters like this. No high pitched characters voices, no super Unnecessary nudity, no crappy animation, pure love into this series. Some scenes for example, stark is putting on his jacket, fern sitting on the stool, and so forth just have such amazing animation. Amazing fight scenes, not even that long but I love to see the stunning visuals, the swing and parries of weapons that feel like they have wait to them. I am extremely in love with this series and can’t wait to see more of it.

Your original Frieren video introduced me to the series and it's now my #1. I'm current on the manga and own all of the English volumes that are released so far which is not something I typically do for an ongoing manga, I typically like to buy them complete. Watching this get adapted and to such a high degree has been a blast, thank you again for introducing me to the wonderful series.
