    This is very EXPENSIVE . You can accomplish same results with plastic mulch 4'x4'. Cave the soil towards tree or bush trunk. Cut hole in the plastic, lay it and cover edges . Get plastic mulch that's silver on 1 side and black on other . Face silver color to tree. The plastic sheet costs you 50 cents vs $10 for this unit. IF you have 50 trees , will cost you $25 vs $500 .

    Ideally, you want the water to go away from the trunk of the tree so the roots spread out and make the tree less prone to being blown over.

      @Groasis 4 роки тому +8

      More ideally: you want the trees to go deep into the ground to find water, rather than spread out at the dry surface

      @@Groasis Depends on the tree. Some don't have Tap roots. Oaks do, redwoods, Poplars, most hardwoods don't. Read a dendrology book.

      @@samfrancisco8095 was thinking the exact same thing I've always been told the same it depends on what type of tree exactly you're growing but for most trees, you do want the roots to spread out not go super deep because you have to realize you only have 3 feet of topsoil or 4 ft the absolute most were all of your microorganisms and everything that's good for the tree is going to be most trees don't grow good in clay and do much better in rich topsoil? I've been told you want the roots to spread out and not to excessively water around the trunk of the tree & that u want to water evenly around the tree so the roots branch out I'm sure it depends on what type of tree tho, but I know this is true for apple tree's, cherry tree's, peach tree's & plum tree's ECT for a fact I'm sure I think you could accomplish close to the same thing by mulching & using straw excessively because the straw & mulch definitely affect the temperature of the soil making it colder in summer & warmer in winter. I could see this, possibly being for more very dry desert like climates don't get very much rain. Maybe it would work there I'm not from a super dry desert like climate, so I really don't know about growing trees in dry desert like conditions still runs, countered everything I've ever been told My 2 cents tho

    There's no sound!!! However after visiting the website, i was able to grasp & understand the mute animation. i think it is a simple yet a very fantastic product. Water Management is my business & any thing that helps in conserving water & Mother Nature should always be promoted. Have already bought 200 trays to see the results first hand.
    Please get the sound back!
