Man, 300 hours in, and I decided to beat the game 3 days ago because I felt this video coming and didn't want to have the ending spoiled. When quin drops a video, you watch no matter what.

The way that Zeldas Lullaby and the main theme play during the final fall never fails to make me smile. It's so triumphant, it *sounds* like victory.

It's like... You know the Naruto song when he wins an important fight and you get all the flashbacks to Iruka, Kakashi, Sasuke, Ichiraku, and ever
LoZ musics and where to use them is always a perfection to me. Even the old ones
Fun fact: you have two markers on your save file to signify that you've Found Zelda at least once! One is on your file itself, a star marker like the one you get in Breath of the Wild. The second is an extra badge on your loading screen, with the rest of the sage's vows.

Quin- I just wanted to say, even know you might not see this, you’re videos have meant the world to me. I’m just about to leave for a year long exchange and it’s been very difficult (emotionally), and I’m so glad I’ve had your videos with me (I’ve genuinely used them to calm down from panic attacks and crying), so thank you. Man, Matt Mercer’s voice acting for Ganondorf was on point. Also, I beat this game last week. He broke my Hylian shield, but a Zonai shield with a cart fused to it survived the whole fight. 😂

For me, everything about this final piece of the story was 1000/10. The music was so chilling and had me freaked out. It was just perfectly immersive. The final boss was so freaking fun and unique (to me anyway, I don’t play much else besides Zelda games 😂). Haven’t even finished the video, can’t wait to see your reaction to everything!!

I love how in the third phase vs Ganondorf it uses the Blight motif, making clear this fight could be the death of Link. Also now that its over I can say it
I'm upset Zelda gets to fully revert and didn't keep any of her traits from being the Light Dragon. Her horns are so much smaller and pretty, they look like she's meant to keep them.

Now, as the Hero of Twilight, Hero of Time, Hero of the Wild, and many more, he knows _exactly_ who Ganon is.
That taunt Ganondorf does there is a message to _everyone_ who _knows_ what they're up against. _"Come at me. I'd like to see you _*_try_*_ to take me down."_
Also the music for the Sages joining the fight being a remix of the Divine Beast's Joint Assault is something that always hits me right in the feels. 💖
"I'LL BE TAKING FAR MORE THEN YOUR ARM THIS TIME" is such a god damn badass line, I remember hearing it for the first time thinking its so simple yet so effective.

ive been waiting for you to see the Ganon fight stuff (Ganon flurry rushing, overhealing health bar, and the Demon Dragon) for awhile. i don't have anyone to talk to about this game, so watching your reactions make me really happy! you always look at everything with such excitement and optimism rather than being cynical, and that is such an infectious vibe. its really the best, and I'm happy to have been here for both this whole series and for about 50 percent of your botw series. ill absolutely be here for WAY longer too. ty Quin for putting so much energy into making these videos for everyone and yourself :)

And now that I have watched video: Wasn’t this one of the most beautiful video game stories of all time?? The ending was so epic with the sages coming to Link’s aid and dragon Zelda swooping in and Link catching her at the end and just everythinnnng!! The music, the scenery, the attention to detail. I thought about the ending for days after.
They knew what they were doing when they called it Tears of the Kingdom because I cried so many tears.
I know right? It seems almost everyone nowadays says they hate the story, but absolutely love it!

I can't get over the perfection that is Ganondorf's dragonification. The music, the sound effects, everything. Especially the distorted Zonai theme that kicks in as power begins bursting from his body.
I've been waiting for this moment my entire life for Quin to find out that 1. Ganon is hot again. 2. He can flurry rush and take our hearts. But I just want to see his reaction to seeing Zelda again

Fun Fact: The Master Sword doesn't lose durability against Ganon. If you have it available for the fight, it's infinite.

I'm a dad and could only play at nights afer the kids are in bed. I started the end of the game by 11pm and reached the final cut scene by 2am. I was so pumped that I could not sleep.

there are many good things about TotK, but the ending for me personally is still a slap in the face.
the game goes on and on and on about how swallowing a stone is forbidden and basically suicide, that there's no way of reversing it, reinforcing that it's the ultimate sacrifice Zelda makes so that the future can live on, even if she never gets to consciously see it...only to pull a complete 180.
yes, it means we get a happy ending, and I do love happy endings, but not when they don't work within the rules the story has established, because it just makes the reversal feel like a cheap ass-pull for the sake of Link and Zelda being together in the end.
the illusion is gone and I can see the hands of the author puppeteering the contrived story telling, essentially saying "everyone gets what they want because I say so and previously established consequences don't matter!"
it's not earned, it's not compelling, it's just immersion breaking.
This is my first time seeing the ending so I’m glad I got to watch Quin play it.
you may never see this quin, but your videos have changed my life, they got me back into botw years ago, ive genuinely used them to ground from panic attacks, got me through one of the worst breakups and some of the most traumatic experinces of my life knowing there would be another video u, something to look foward to, and specifically with this, when i played the ending of totk i never experinced the true joy of the ending due to some stuff i was going throigh around the same time, and thought id never be able to having alread finished it, but this play through, this ending gave me that experince, the true joy of this series this game, thankyou for what you do :)

Rewatching this video, and I love that Quin used the sword beams on dragon Ganon. Such a good callback to the skyward strike in Skyward Sword. And since Fi went through a lot in TOTK, I love that.
It's kinda awesome that he's so interested in a "worth foe" and prepares and talks like nobody. Love the design like everyone else, but he could've been better (stronger). 14:55 Personally, I respect Link, (as many people say, just really wish he had a personality, but I guess they couldn't do it in an honorable manner) but I think Ganondorf’s scene looks a bit cooler. 27:46 She still has it, wow. 🤨😱

the dragon fight is one of the best final fights in any zelda game, especially the music. Amazing.
I do think it's not great they took away the arm though. Feels like a reversal of disability rep to me.

I haven't really commented on this serie the whole time, but I guess its better later than never! I just wanted to say that was my favourite playtrough of any game of EVER! The way you talk and interact with the game and how you make jokes, are all just perfect! Anyways, I can't wait for demon hunting later! (English ain't my first language btw)
Been enjoying watching you play. This is definitely my favorite Zelda game to date I think, the whole thing is just jam packed with emotions I cried for days. I really related to the "I think I need to go and sit down" Comment! Can't wait for any future story dlc (fingers crossed).

Two, interesting how you commented how Ganon’s spear rushes resembled Yunobo’s attacks when Ganon was mind controlling Yunobo ;)
Three, I found it hilarious that you immediately assumed that you couldn’t just attack the Ganon dragon blisters, and found a more convoluted method to doing it-classic.
Four, I also cry and get chills when seeing this ending every single time.
Five, the falling scene’s theme is called not again, because Link refuses to fail Zelda again and wants her to never suffer again. And I love how he embraces her as he catches her and she recalls waking up to a “warm, loving embrace”. This theme also mixes Zelda’s lullaby in and breaks my heart every time.
Six, I’m so happy you are continuing this series, I look forward to sharing the ride with you.
I have so much more to say but I’m sure you’ll uncover the same sentiments as you continue your journey with this game.
Considering there is still no post game, I will save myself the trouble of beating the game and just play around until I get bored. There is zero incentive for me to beat it at this point.
