@@rexmoriarty5335in 2016 Samsung came with an orange band. Orange is used by outdoor enthusiasts, like diverse. Why because it’s bright. Ultra name was used by Samsung for years before apple used it. Might wanna do some research before talking. And this is coming from a person using the 15PM and ultra 2 watch
All the North American tech reviewers saying how much was copied from Apple, they all make a point to mention it. Yet when Apple copies literally EVERYTHING that Android does, you barely hear of it. Sad. Watch when split screen finally comes to iOS. It will be an "innovation" and "so cool," just like AOD was when it came to Apple last year after being available on Android for 10 years. Apple innovates barely anything and wants you to believe their iteration of it is groundbreaking. One of the many reasons why I will never go back to Apple. Definitely a bias in NA, whether you want to admit it or not.
Yeah, I remember them saying how innovative and new USB-C is with their new phones. Like, what the heck? They didn't even have a choice because of the new rules, and they're selling it like a big new feature they came up with

The orange band is just for high visibility in water/hiking etc. It has been done well before smartwatches came around.

@foetor except this design is from 2017 , look up galaxy frontier and the color also launched back then orange , and the ultra name samsung came up with it for the phones and tablets while apple only put it in 2022

Had apple products before, all swapped now for Galaxy watch and got $100 trade in for the headphones that you can't never keep clean.
Played with the Galaxy Ultra watch at a T-Mobile store......that's one sick watch, can't wait to get mine and it comes with a FREE band.
Paid $239 after taxes. I'm very excited. The 24th can not come sooner.

Rolex doesn't do any cushion design but yes, definitely a Panerai style watch!

How accurate is wearing both watches on the same wrist? I’m not familiar internals and how heart rate, body temperature is measured but does wrist positioning of watch impact it at all? Most other reviewers of wearables wear one on each wrist for comparison.

I have 6 classic and Ultra 2. For daily life and using watch without phone the Apple Watch got me the longest. Even through a whole day. Features are a lot better and more refined so it doesn’t come lagging like the 6 classic

The rotating bezel on my 1993 still works fine and so does the bezel on my 2018 OG galaxy watch

Galaxy watch battery always gets much better in a few days. Glad it was mentioned in the video but would've been better if the battery wasn't compared on the first day of use. Plenty material in the vid without having to include it.
Yeah, samsungs usually have battery learning modes the first couple of days, then you see a significant improvement with battery life

I LOVE the sleep tracking by the Ring. I have bad sleep habit going to bed at 2 am and had to get up around 7 to start working around 8. It tells me how my mental recovery, physical recovery would be like with the amount of sleep and the quality of sleep I had that night. now the first thing I do waking up is checking that sleep data on my phone haha. it's enlightening!
I would have liked to see a watch on each wrist.
Having them stacked on the same wrist means one is placed higher than designed to wear (operate effectively)
Features of the watch, ex. Blood oxygen, can be impacted by placement. The support website and setup for certain features indicate placement is important for accurate readings.
I’d feel more confident in your results if that was accounted for.

I feel like the Samsung Watch 7 ultra is like Gatorade. The target audience is "athletes, people who do sports and gym lovers" but man... the real users are regular dudes who are thirsty for new looks.

As someone like myself that is surrounded by fitness professionals none of them ever recommend a Samsung watch when it comes to monitoring their fitness data. I have the ultra myself, but I have all the fitness disabled along with neutering Bixby as I prefer to get 5 days of battery life just like with the watch5 pro when it was optimized. The ultra was only 229.99 so I have no issue stripping it and using it for my taste. The Ultra definitely has better performance than the watch5 pro, but still handicapped with Wear OS.
Samsung has really missed an opportunity here. The Apple Watch just looks better in every single way.

I am in the Samsung ecosystem but I recently just switched my work phone to an iPhone from Samsung so I could get the Apple Watch 9 for health tracking because the Samsung Watch 4 that I have just seemed horrible for sleep tracking.

Can't comment abouts the watch, but I also switched to the S24U from the S22U when it first came out in February, and it is a really noticeable improvement in basically everything.
I have them both and love them both period.

Just got my Samsung Watch 7 Ultra and WOW(!!!) does it look better in person. I purchased the titanium colour (lighter grey), and it makes the Apple Watch Ultra look cheap. I updated from the Watch 5 Pro, and it's brighter and larger. Maybe a little too large and heavier, but I'm hoping battery life is as good if better.
To be an ultra.. Samsung should of given us 3 GB Ram 64 GB internal media and a dial like the Watch 6 Classic.. nicely done!! 😊

On the Samsung watch is new so the battery is getting condition. Before anyone comes at me I’m stating the obvious when you get a new product you have o let it cycle for few days in order to get the true performance of the battery.

We need to questioning who copied who. Did the apple watch copy the Galaxy gear S rectangle design from 2014, or did Samsung galaxy watch ultra copied the square design of the apple watch ultra

about sleep tracking on Samsung. If you wear both the ring and the ultra, they are sharing the "job" to achive better battery management and performance.
Better be the battery same as my Galaxy Watch 5Pro it last about 3 days,, both has the same battery capacity, Great video!
Sapphire coated display... Even better. Sapphire is not as impact resistant, but it is super hard to scratch (only diamond is harder). Putting Sapphire over hardened mineral glass is the best of both.
U should use watches on seperate hands, one on right and the other on left hand.

Nice video as always. The Galaxy watch ultra looks a replica done completely wrong😹 when you compare it to the original which is the Apple Watch Ultra. Samsung could have done a circular watch but with a more military ultra style instead of this temu or wish replica they made.

as a samsung user, I have always been jealous of the Apple ultra watch. It just looks and feels ultra high quality and beautiful. they nailed it. It ALMOST got me switch from Android to Iphone JUST because of the ultra watch. I think it looks sooooo much better than any other watches out there. But here I am still running samsung phone, and ordered the Galaxy watch ultra. Ill give it a try. But I still am tempted to switch :P

The Apple Watch has the advantage of being used as a dive computer, traditionally more accurate sensors, and a lot more third party apps. The Samsung watch is playing catch up. I ordered one so ill see how it stacks up to my AWU 1.

I think its really a miss from Samsung not having the rotating bezel on the Watch Ultra. There is clearly a round bezel with hour markers but it doesn't rotate? idk what were they thinking

I waited for the part where she shows which watch had this many steps and this calories and this hearth rate and compare it and show the difference between the accuracy. I mean it would be nice to know if the catch nearly the same data/movement or if there are huge differences.

I have a question. I have the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and currently, the Samsung Watch 6 Classic. I have already ordered my Samsung Watch Ultra. I wear both watches all of the time, and the Apple watch never logs as many steps as my Samsung. By the end of the day, that is usually thousands of steps. Do you know why this happens? Which one is the accurate one? Thank you for your help.
You can easily do the test yourself. Wear both watches on each wrist. Than go for a walk counting your steps. And during the walk keep looking at watches. Whichever numbers match is the accurate 1. But I do point out once it's synced with phone, the software does corrections as well for any GPS errors . I know it's complicated lol.
