I have always loved that particular style of necklace from Chanel. I have looked at the different versions over the years and hankered for it. I think it’s classic, very sophisticated and so transferable. I just turned 50 so perhaps I finally need to to gift this to myself 😉

Michele back in the day that puffy chain used to be called a Gucci link chain. The 90's were the best the jewelry was puffy, hollow and real gold. Lol!
My cairn used to love to play ball. Every electrician, plumber, heating contractor, etc. was expected to throw the tennis ball. They really enjoyed it! Even service men need a little one on one during their work apparently and we were always grateful since it gave us a break, lol. Thanks for sharing your collection Michele. It’s all beautiful.

Although the necklace is automatically classic because it's Chanel and pearls, which could seem prim and proper, somehow the rosary vibe with the black accents makes it a little edgy/goth. It really works.

I finished "The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu. Can't wait for the next season. The part of the Chanel necklace I liked most was the black stone details. I need a new yellow gold chain in at least a 22" length for a pendant I've been wearing every day for over 20 yrs. I'm like you, Michele, I don't care for short chains. I'm a jewelry addict, mostly earrings and bracelets. Enjoyed this, video. Had to chuckle when you mentioned Miss Butters humping. OMG! My little 3 yr old puppy girl does this to one specific stuffed animal (nothing else) that I bought her as an 8 wk old puppy to give her comfort so she wouldn't miss her mama or siblings. And this is how she thanks me!!!! 😂

LOVE the Chanel necklace! I think the spacing of the pearls, and the studded pearl detail, makes it look almost Byzantine...it's ornate but not too delicate. Definitely a stunning piece!

Wow I’m loving all the jewelry you purchased and the necklaces you chose. I love the Chanel necklace you chose it’s very classic you will love it more & more over time. I purchased a similar type long Chanel necklace but with gray & black instead of pearls and it never goes out of style. And omg I love the Hermes locket necklace & earrings.
