sorry i had to cut everything into tiny little pieces. I think YT does not like when scenes go over a minute and 15 seconds (at most). so if you see iconic scenes chopped into pieces, you know who to blame

I actually love when he writes his episodes featuring his character they aren’t always the illiterate dummy. It’s a nice change but an incredibly jarring one seeing as you can’t really go from fooling a trained licensed health inspector with elaborate clever tricks then also no be able to read the word “dentist” haha

Charlies my favorite main character. He pulls his own teeth way too easy, he challenges the lawyer to a duel which is my favorite charlie scene, he is the wild card, he eats cat food, he catches a leprechaun, it just never ends.
I love his occasional moments of wild competence.
It's funny how each member of the gang alternate between either being the strait man, or being absolutely insane.

@@pat2romeby the way he reacted to the baseball bat gift (not just when he received it, but until the end of the scene), I get the feeling he feels horrified by what he does daily and just dissociates to get the work done. so I think him living peacefully with the rats in his fantasy means he would finally be free of this anguish
Edit: I'm rewatching again and he expresses things like this pretty early: he says killing the rats has an emotional toll to it on S02E19
