@@spopdee6072 when i made this comment, i passed the first phase by over leveraging. it works but i had a lot more to learn. now i'm at the point where I am consistently profitable, but also looking for a source of income. it's so important to not skip any step and become successful the right way. It's more realistic this time, and that's a good thing.

Simao Luis Why is making 2k an issue ? Trust the process man. Keep in mind they’ll give you a free repeat if you’re in some profit. Follow your plan and be consistent with your risk. Don’t start risking more because you only made 2k this will kill you. Keep doing what you do and you’ll be fine.

Finally! Someone in the industry finally got it right when it comes to funding trading accounts. I have looked at a lot of other companies and none of them have the right business model like FTMO does. I actually discovered FTMO from someone's UA-cam comment.

@@alexairplanner exactly most people including UA-camrs are saying that same bs, they dont understand that if you hit lets say in a 10k account 9% drawdown if you really had 1k to trade with then you have 100 dollar left and with that you can no longer open the same lot size anymore but its not like that in a 10k account

trading in my verification, I made a lot of mistakes in my trading so far, like tight stop losses, and does not respect ranges, enter on correlated pairs, spending too much time concentrating on the charts, until I felt like my brain is exploding, and many more, so any recommendation for me beside shooting my self will be great, right now I am checking my mistakes to avoid it next week, and applying few changes that I learned , and hopefully, I will recover soon, and become an FTMO trader, thanks again for your videos
I will like to add that the timing of trading is very important, and relaxing for me because I will not be on the screen all day long, and I will add that in my strategy from now on, I wish to be able to pass my verification phase as soon as possible, and that is my experience so far, and best regards to all

@@mrazhari100 No, it's a testing phase only, then comes verification phase. Third phase is earning phase, your first opportunity to earn and get paid.

Passed my first challenge today
lesson learned.. Don't rush things out. there are 30 days challenge, and 60 days verification which equates to 3 months before you become funded. that is equivalent to learning a new course in forex..
Although if you meet the profit requirement early you don't have to wait the full 30 or 60

Will be starting the process in January 2021. It's been 3 years of study and demo to get me to where my abilities are now but I have no money to trade. Thank God I discovered FTMO.
@Juan Rafael Puente we trade for them and they take 30% of your profit but they give you a pretty big account to trade.

What do you mean by “decreasing your capital to the initial balance at the end of the month”?? I thought we have a buffer?

I'm assuming they will decrease it to the initial starting balance plus the amount you want to keep on for buffer should you decide to do so.
Are there restrictions on position size? I know there is one for max daily loss. Also I know that you guys use equity to determine max daily loss, what happens if the trade is above the max daily loss due to draw down but is successful? Is it still counted as a loss for that day?
There is no restriction to position size - as long as the platform is technically able to open (or until you use up all your margin) you are are good to go. If at any point in time your equity hits Max Daily Loss limit, the account counts as violated and it will not be eligible for funding. This applies even for those case, when it ends up being successful.
If you pass in a couple of days do you have to wait until day 10 before moving forward?

It is not set monthly. It is reviewed individually. Someone can finish FTMO Challenge in just 10 days, and therefore we have to check tre results sooner.

@test time All Wrong... You are entitled to a 100k account if you pass the challenge and verification process. What you seem to be confused about is that beside the maximum loss of 10k the 90k is actually there in the account as leverage so your risk-reward if much more intelligent. Doubling an account every month is not sustainable and FTMO is not looking for gamble but SERIOUS TRADERS that is why the limits that are imposed are generous and smart. Please do your researches and maybe try getting funded before confusing other people.

For how long will you be able to verify your Ftmo identity after you passed the challange? I have started the challange today and believe i will pass in the next few weeks but i am renewing my ID that i am going to verify with and i will be able to collect it late august will i still be able to verify after that long wait?

@@ZTheMoki finish babypips and then practice with demo accounts for at least a few months with different trading strategies until you find one your comfortable with, you could even get a mentor if u want someone to teach you a specific strat then work on that strategy until you become profitable keep building experience in the market before u even think about getting funded or using real money.

I passed the challenge, and verification! But I didn’t trade more than 10 trades on both challenge and verification, I risked only 1% per trade but I have a high R:R just waiting on minimum trading days now for the verification to be passed! 💪🏽

You're just not allowed to enter during these 4 mins. Any trade taken before is fine.

I heard about FTMO last week and I have been following the trend ever since then and so far, I so much love everything about the company but at thesame time I still have some questions.
Q1. What are the chances of passing the challenge and if peradventure the trader doesn't pass the challenge, will the initial fee be refunded ?
Q2. About the issue of identity verification, here in Nigeria, it is not everybody that has the international passport for verification , over 65% percent of people use the national identity number ( NIN) as means of identification but not all firms accept this. So the question is does FTMO accept the national identity number (NIN) as a means of ID verification?

Absolutely, if a trade in opened or closed either SL, TP, Entry level and or manually; All of those actions would imply a breach of the trading restriction. (if they occur 2 min. before or after a restricted news)
