That's nice. This is proof that you can be profitable using indicators. I don't usually use it. But it's so nice seeing some traders making money using indicators, because I know a lot of traders out there call them pros because they don't use it, and still they cant get funded. Really nice interview!
Every andicator can be profitable if you know it good.. some price action traders say andicators are useless they don't know what are they talking about
One thing I will say is that losing a trade doesn’t necessarily mean that you have done something wrong. Your setup and your rules for entry can be perfect, but you can still lose the trade. It’s one of the things that new traders have a problem with grasping, but it’s a fundamental part of the psychological aspect of trading that I believe you have to understand to be successful.
The interview is cool. Everyone learns at a different pace.. It took him years to learn because he wanted to branch off on his own. With a good course you should be able to learn in 3 to 6 months.

I checked his strategy on MT5 using EMA(144), EMA(50) and Elliot osc(5,34). Looks legit, buy rule = EMA(50) > EMA(144), price above EMA(50), the oscillator must be green, the price close to EMA(50) going up. Vice versa for sell.
Just started a $10K FTMO challenge today. Up $310, I will keep ya’ll updated. Please guys dont try to trade live accounts or with prop firms until you have created a set of rules and a strategy, so you know exactly what you are looking for. Having a strategy and sticking to it makes it soooo much easier to be able to take a loss instead of overtrading, overleveraging, losing your mental capital, and blowing the account.

I fell victim to exceeding the maximum daily loss, the reason why is because I took a loss, traded the next morning, was in drawdown and I forgot that it doesn't mean because it's a new day that the timer reset for the maximum daily loss. I was up $600 out of $1000 after hitting the maximum daily loss which sucked. But the good news is I made a new challenge right after, for $25K and I passed the challenge 3 days ago. I just need to wait 4 more days to do the Verification and the account is mine

To succced as a beginner, Do these: Pick 1 currency pair. Pick 1 timeframe. Pick 1 trading system Master trading with these 3 things before you make any attempt to add more currency pairs or use another strategy. Less is always more. Your trading skill and experience will improve much faster.
I really enjoyed this interview. The psychological struggle is my biggest challenge as well. I didnt go the funded route until after I had struggled for 2-2.5 years and finally funded in my 3rd year of trading but I went with a company that had a low cost subscription model because I knew I wasn't good enough to make one time payments for challenges and be confident I would pass. The funded route through a remote prop firm forced me to greatly improve risk management and understand and manage my emotions while trading. I finally quit trading with my small subscription based funded account last month. Strong belief in myself and need to succeed has kept me going in this 5 year slow progression. I probably should wait until I pass the challenge to post this but I'm neatly +7% after 10 days and wondering/worried about how I will handle the mental hurdle of phase 2 woth a 5% profit target lol.. I can understand how profitable traders mess up in phase 2 thinking they are close to passing. I still sometimes trade on tilt when I know I should quit as I did last week recovering from a 5% downswing.
I passed the 1 phase with a 200k challenge and I think I became way to excited to pass the second that I completely flopped it, broke all my rules and put way to much size on bad trades, but I will give it another try soon I know I can pass, I know my worth
Great interview. Persistence is key. These interviews really put things into perspective that this journey takes some time. I have been trading 4 years on and off and haven’t ever thought about giving up. I will not give up until I have ftmo and am also being interviewed like this great trader here. It is foolish to leave FTMO after becoming profitable. I would never leave either. Working on my free trials now, I pass one free trial yesterday. Going to reset it and try again, I need to make sure I am CERTAIN that I got what it takes to go after the 100K. This was a very informational interview, I love FTMO. I am getting ready. FTMO, get a spot for me, going in JAN-06-2024. I did SET THE DATE.
Just made 8% of my free trial account in my frist day to see how the plattform works. It feels good and I am going to take the challange once my 14 days pratice is done.

I realy enjoyed this trader interview but I just emphasis that a trader that experienced binary and countdown options, potentially can trade with normal way of trading on market instruments much easier and comfortable. It looks like driving test on formula one then start driving on a usual car on motor way. Much easier, isn't it? In my opinion, never leave your payslip jobs and keep trading sessions as short as possible, you already have the top balance of 400k, consistant and continued trading is the main key of loses. If trader stay in the market continued, market takes control of trader psychologically, that's the pivot poit that turns trading to gambling. Hence full time trading turn trader to a gambler and a gambler is a loser at the end of the day. So keep going on with your day to day usual job helps being avoid from turning trade to gamble. I think he doing great i think his only issue is not have a fixed risk per trade. He could possibly for example risk 2k make 4k then next trade risk 6k and lose. Because he risk different amounts.
