You should make a series, where you show how people have done overtime with ftmo e.g. 12 months, e.g. how much they made in January, February etc, not just one month as I have a feeling a lot of these people making 72k a month, only do it once and then blow up there account the next month. Would be interesting to see

@@ArunHDGaming yep it would be interesting to see, I rather see someone make 10k or even 5k every month consistently, rather than someone making 72k in one month and then blowing it up in the next month.
I know one one trader who did a video and blew their account a month later.

The last one would have finished if he used stop losses. Some people are good technically but bad when it comes to money management/preservation which is maybe the most important part

Discipline is whats failing these people and not Sticking to the fundamentals pulling the trigger is the easy part. I'll be taking this challenge soon not yet though because I need more discipline

In your t&c’s it says once you pass challenge and verification a third party not FTMO may offer you a contract to trade. And it has nothing to do with FTMO. What does this mean?

Seems like everyone doing compounding I mean stacking up the trades, because of too many trades, only (1st trade is in profit, then only open 2nd, similarly 2nd was in profit you open 3rd) seems like these traders doing opposite
That last trader would have been funded, and earning right now, had he/she just used a Stop-loss and a TP.
Volatile instruments like metals, oil, cryptos and indices move way too much for you to be trading without a stop loss.
Looking at the amount of entries, and the trading period I'd guess that he/she is most likely a scalper.
I'd advise him/her to trade with max 0.5% risk per trade, and ALWAYS use a stop loss.
Another tip would be to set pending orders... and don't forget to close your winners in profit. 1% per TP can go a far way if you're only risking 0.5% per trade.
i would let the proit run bcause you dont know how far those markets will run that day. especially these days with CFDs like WTI and the ukraine situation

@@FrameCycleranother thing I'm using on their free trial version and messing with is market exposure.
If I use .5 percent and have a daily goal of 2% it's gonna take half the time to get to that goal of 2% of I use 1%
The more you trade the more you're at risk of losing capital.
But also the most risk you take the more total drawdown you'll have to there's a balance. But if you know total drawdown then you will know if you're going to make it with these guys or not.
Mt4 default detailed statements can easily tell you these stats

Hello FTMO i took your challenge and i pass the profit target in three days and then the next day i took a trade of lost and i was inform that i failed the challenge
hellow FTMO, you don't think swing traders should have more time for the challenge??? The leverage is lower, it could be 45 days for example, for swing traders there are no opportunities every day.‼️‼️‼️

I don't really understand metrics of the last account. It was for 100k but profit target was 20k. How so?

I trade in batch of 4 trades when price going against me they are in the same direction; is this allowed?
Couldn't pass the first try but still managed to finish with positive balance, waiting for my retry

What will happen if I hold a trade overnight?

if someone pass the trade before the minimum trading days and same time trade and violate the rules after already passing the trade, did he or she passed the challenge
I had failed two weeks ago because of exceeding the daily loss with 70€. Everything else was done.
In case it is funded from FTMO, then every month we still have to pass the same requirements as in the demo phase right?
FTMO removed minimum trading days and 10% profit target on real account, but daily and max loss is same 👍

@@uck19dim Yes, they wont allow you to blow a 100k account lol
@@GLmig that' what i thought, but i thought they let you more space after you pass, because the limits are overwhelming and disturb you to keep on the strategy. For example, if you have a 80% win rate setup, you will win most of the time, but you can have a 10times loss in a row and trigger the Max Loss. Ofc you can reduce the lot size and the % you risk per trade, but then again, why have a 100k account, it is unnecessary because you are not allowed to use the potential of that. You could also have a 30k account and have the same conditions.

FTMO should have a system whereby guaranteed Stop Losses are set as its shocking to know how Prop Traders play around without setting Stops
Am I eligible for a retry if I don’t violate the daily or overall drawdown but I have negative profit ? Im on the Verification part but I got about 3 weeks left.

Too bad there is no discount for blown accounts, at least still during challenge and evaluation
What we can learn from this?Don't trade gold without stop loss.And almost every time we see no stop loss no take profit and hight win rate but low risk reward.
Does the number of trades recorded include the ones from step 1 or 2 combined or are they separated?
That 316 trader looks like he was using an EA and on one day the losses were massive as there were so many open trades in loss.
FTMO pls clarify the last account you show account size 100000 but in the dashboard max daily loss was 10k and max loss was 20k how it possible? Any error pls clarify

The difference is when you are trading with FTMO Aggressive risk and FTMO Normal risk. If your strategy allows you a higher risk, then the Aggressive Account risk is double the Max Loss and Max Daily Loss (10 % and 20 %) compared to the Normal Account.

Das Riesen Problem bei FTMO ist, wenn man außer swing, normal mit Wirtschaftskalender traden muss, Wirtschaftskalender wird auf Deutsch, nirgendswo richtig erklärt. ich bin seit fast 3 Jahren bei FTMO und trade nur mit Swing, ich verstehe bis Heute den Wirtschaftskalender nicht.
