We are a young Australian couple raising our six beautiful children aged 9, 8, 7, 6, 6, 6! That's right.. with the surprise addition of our sweet baby triplets, we had six children in three years!
We are now happy to announce the twins arrival five years later after the triplets in October 2020!
Life can be pretty hectic sometimes, but it's also A LOT of fun!

For safety reasons I would anker de bookcase to the wall, because with all the books on the top layers it will be top heavy and could it could tip over.

The triplets are getting tall .Gorgeous children love watching you all.My daughter is expecting her second little girl she is 36 weeks so it’s round about the same as your baby girl. Xx💕
Swedish shelf (I think the older one is called expedit) and Swedish clothes =)
The twins suit have what we call “videung” in Swedish. There’s a song about them called “sov du lilla videung” and they’re also common to bring in for Easter (and spring in general) if you put the branches in water they’ll first get these fluffy things and then they’ll become leaves.
Another fun fact: Duns kinda means thump. The sound of something falling or when one land after a jump.
The pussywillow blooms on the jumpers are something we look forward to seeing every spring in Alaska.

Such a lot of books. Reading is amazing for kids. It's so great your kids love it! As a few people of said be careful of the shelves not being anchored. I hate drilling into my walls too because you might want to move it again soon, but safety first. :-)

Try command hooks and elasticated string on the 3rd shelf, attach the string across the shelf kinda in the middle. The older kids are coordinated enough to press the string down to take or put back a book but babies can tug at books but string would hold them on the shelf

You might want to attach those shelves to the wall with a couple of "L" brackets. My kids would never have stopped with just reaching. They would have scaled those shelve like they were mountain goats.

The bookcases should be anchored to the wall. It's especially dangerous having most of the weight be at the top of the bookcase! I hope that any other potentially dangerous items, such as chest of drawers and tv's, are also secured to the wall. It would break my heart if any of your children were to be injured.

The bookcases look wonderful, I mix and match Ikea furniture, most of my bedroom, art studio and lego room is Ikea. I have gotten several pieces free from when people throw them out.

I have a video suggestion. What toys would you recommend for certain age groups and why? I have a 14mo who has some toys but I’d like things that are good for his development and will last years. Of course if you want to and have time :)

I think it's the opposite way around. My kallax are thicker like the 4x4.

Gosh that is so dangerous the shelves being top heavy. The little ones could the shelves on top of them and you could end up with seriously injured little ones. Just put something in front so the little ones can't get to the books. A lot safer than having injured babies.
I live in France my younger daughter is 20months younger than my twins. I am very busy. But you it's Amazing !! How do you d'où ? 9 children !!! Bravo

Did you anchor the book shelfs for safety?
That is not a Kallax, that's an Expedit! It's the previous version that has slightly thicker outer walls, but is otherwise identical. So, a little "vintage Ikea" piece! Stuff like this is why I love buying second hand. ;)
I remember when a hairstylist said my hair color was dark blond from the hair samples but I looked like a brunette just like your kiddos. Sylvie could pass as a dirty blond. My kiddos are blond.
