We are a young Australian couple raising our six beautiful children aged 9, 8, 7, 6, 6, 6! That's right.. with the surprise addition of our sweet baby triplets, we had six children in three years!
We are now happy to announce the twins arrival five years later after the triplets in October 2020!
Life can be pretty hectic sometimes, but it's also A LOT of fun!

I grew up in a family of 6 children and 4 bedrooms so this situation is so familiar to me. We switched around a lot, too, and usually someone loved the new set up and someone hated it. Hang in there, Pearl.
Aw, it’s so lovely that the older boys enjoy hanging out in the same room again!
When you mentioned Pearl being sad alone in her own room, it briefly made me sad because at the beginning of this video, I instantly thought of how cute her new single room could be with a bunny theme just for her! Although, it much sweeter to know how close she is with her siblings!

sylvie will be old enough soon and then the new baby too :) the girls room will be very fun someday, but for now pearl and her bunnies will have to wait 😆💖
@@molls127 I shared with one of my sisters for a year or two when I was 4 and she was 9... But that's a pretty huge age difference and we eventually had separate rooms. We got along well but it's harder to share when there's that big an age difference. You play totally differently and like different things (and that was 4 and 9 - it's hard to even imagine e.g. 2 and 8). I really hope she gets to share with her brothers for at least a few more years.
Probably not a good idea for her to get used to a room on her own. Long-term she will likely end up sharing with Sylvie and baby #9
I don't get why some people make such a big deal about making kids share with the same sex. I had boy and girl cousins who shared into their teens and it was fine. It's a lot more common in countries where there isn't so much space and so many bedrooms in one home. And sometimes parents match them by sex and one of them is gay anyway. There are far more problems caused by putting a little kid with a teenager. If problems arise or they ask for more privacy or don't want to share anymore then of course move them. Keep an eye on things and make sure it's still working. But to split them up just because, or to force combinations that make such bad sense age-wise, seems so sad.
@@junbh2 Exactly. It makes no sense to separate a triplet from her other triplets to share with sisters 6/7 years younger than her, it’s not a big deal and the age gap is the more important factor when choosing shared bedrooms

The older boys are so happy to help their Dad with projects. All the kids are so darn cute and sweet.
The boys bedroom is so bright and definitely more open. I love watching the boys take care of the littles, so sweet. The boys haircuts are all so nice. What a beautiful picture of all your beautiful children on the bunkbed. I love all the windows you have. It’s so nice seeing how the kids are growing from one video to the next. Works out great in the end if you think about it. Pearl moves back with her brothers, and the twins can move in to pearls room when the new baby comes.

Oh my goodness the kiddos are growing so fast..Evan, Otto, Felix are such great helpers. My how the triplets have grown. Sylvie and Cosmo have even grown so fast. Such beautiful, sweet children and another precious baby on the way. Love all the colors in the kids bedroom, have a blessed day. 💞😇

@@lucycarriere9481 Your description of both Chloe and Ro is spot on. They are extremely patient, loving, and listen to their children whole heartedly. I love how they are raising their children and their kiddos are so sweet, kind, and gentle with each other and especially with the babies. These precious children are being led by example and it most certainly shows.

Triple bunk beds can easily be ordered from Amazon and Walmart. There are some that are made with the third bunk being east to store (in other words, a pull put). It would save so much space.
We used to have a triple bunkbed when I was small. They were just 'normal' (Ikea?) beds you could just stack ontop of one another, later we used them as three single beds. I was so small I never was aloud to sleep at the top (I fell out the middle one once) but I always thought it was really cool we had one, as no one else did. :)

Evan is such a GOOD example of what a compassionate big brother is like. He’s so sweet and kind to his siblings. I absolutely love the new bedroom makeover. I would be in Heaven surrounded by so many books! The beds are placed so perfectly. 👍👍👍
I love Ikea furniture for its easy, clean and simple-ness. I am a minimalist though. My husband thinks it cheap stuff, but i love it!
Its not built to last. If you buy antique or vintage furniture secondhand its cheaper in the long run because its well made. Plus, its a lot more interesting.

A trundle bed would work well also. We have one for our boys. The set looks like a bunk bed, but with a trundle that rolls out from the bottom. Works well.
I really like the bunk bed in the corner between the windows! I think it's also not blocking the windows too much since it's quite lightly built. I hope it doesn't get too hot in the summer?

I would get a loft bed for the rooms. You can use the bottom area for extra storage and their clothes. It will save you time and energy to organize that aspect of it

As soon as you said Felix was moving in with the big boys, I was so sad for Pearl. I was glad to hear you address that at the end. Maybe Pearl will get Sylvie as a bunk mate soon-ish.

With the triple bunk bed idea. You can get a bunk bed at IKEA and put a trundle under it

Girls can have short hair. As a little girl I didnt like sitting still and dealing with the upkeep of long hair so my parents let me keep mine short til I was old enough to care about what I looked like. When it comes down to it, small children generally don't care what their hair is like and just want to play as much as possible.
@@ShockResistor my daughter’s hair was very thick. If I had it cut it short it would just puff out and sh wouldn’t like that!! lol 😂

Hammocks! I just remembered I had 3 nephews that slept in a king sized bed stuck next to a double bed. Basically a giant bed took up the entire half of the room and sometimes Dad or the sisters would crash there too.

🤣🤣 Same! I even get called by the dogs name, even still, he's been gone 4 years! Oh and my aunty's name (mum's sister)!
Haha my mom often called me by a row of 4 names, first my oldest sister, than the youngest of my older sisters, than my middle sister, and then finally she'd remember and say mine 🤣 Though this would all be in less than 5 seconds, but still... As I got older, I started saying "Yeah, that last one, that's the one!" 🤷🏻♀️
Luckily my siblings and dad would just call me by my actual name. But dad had a hard time remembering all our ages for some reason 😅
