hm not sure what you mean. putting the clay in the freezer helps with storage but it will make the clay firm if not hard. it should eventually soften in room temperature and by kneading.
i use diy cold porcelain here but i've tried this method with superlight air dry clay which cures like foam and it works with that too. im not sure if that's what you have but maybe just try to dab a bit of water on your clay and see if it softens it. if it does, then this method will most likely work
will consider this but at the moment, i can't work on it. in most cases, what i showed in this video is just what i do for overcooked clay. if the clay is too hard, i have another video "soften hardened/cute clay" with a different method than this but the idea is basically the same. undercooked clay is very soft and melty, the clay doesn't hold details properly
Hey pls tell me that how can i avoid lumps ..today was the first time i made cold porcelain clay and it turned out super hard .. but somehow i managed and now it is super soft but there are lumps ..pls help ❤️
if the lumps aren't softening and blending with the rest of the clay, i suggest to just take them off your clay. pick them out using a tool. i just hope they're not a lot 😅
@@zainclayarts So, I did the same thing here in this video once and it helped. Next time I added PVA glue to the water and shook it up good to mix it. This gives the clay a much stronger, rubbery consistency and helps to adhere to itself. Thanks!
@@wasabiy817 Yeah, unfortunately it does do that and it seems to make it more resistant to water if you use a spritzer bottle. I don't use it any more.
no, overkneading can actually make the clay more dry since it's air dry clay. the teardrop shape doesnt need to be perfect but the clay should have that stretch if you pull them apart.
no it doesn't. clay cracking can be caused by various factors like clay condition or how it cured. if you're using diy clay, the ratio of ingredients used may affect that too.
cracking can be caused by several factors. i'll be making a video about it but it will take me a while. you can check my how to properly cure air dry clay for a start
i have another video for softening hardened or cured clays but if this method doesn't affect your clay at all, it means neither will work unfortunately
I thought that i was bad at sculpting so i just looked up on your advices. Thanks girl. ❤
Woah. I first watched your video when you had only a few hundred subs and now you've grown so much!

Next time onwatds please bring down the volume of the music.
thanks so much for the feedback! will do 💚
For mine I just added little drops of water on my clay then mixed it bight be Sticky at first but it will be good after 💗
yes that works too if you need the clay right away but since the clay doesnt have enough time to absorb the water it can dry really fast.
Is this foam clay? If not is there a solution for foam clay drying out too please?

Mam my clay is soft clay so tell another video but i love your videos 📹
Can you make video how to fix overcooked clay 😂 i tried to mix half measurement but no idea how undercooked look like. Hellpppp

What air dry clay do you use ❤
diy clay. tutorial is in my channel
Can you suggest something to fix the clay if it is too runny and liquidy that it can't be handled
just let it dry for a bit and knead it. you can add a bit of cornstarch but dont add too much since that can also ruin the consistency

As someone who is new to this, why bother with the container at all? Why not just add water and knead it in?
you can do that but since the clay won't have enough time to absorb the water, the clay will dry pretty quick after

What if it's super hard
i have another video for that :)

heyy if i did the tear drop test then did it again and it didint come does that mean i have to keep kneeding

My creation dries with a pit(hole like) at the back .. does that happen with you too??
probably because of air bubbles stuck in the clay. press the clay hard as you sculpt to get rid of those
