Before You Trim a Newfoundland Dog

I’ve been working on several dog grooming videos over the past month and one thing that stood out to me when looking at other Newfoundland grooming tutorials is that not a lot of them explain the structure of a Newfie.
This is an important part of grooming that is often overlooked! If you’re going to groom your dog at home, knowing their structure will make the process a lot easier.
And while Newfoundland dogs need regular combing and brushing, besides their ears and paws being trimmed for neatness, the rest of their body is usually only trimmed to balance their structure.
