Hello! Enjoy the video! I have another video going live later this week! Ps if you want to see some holiday content (we’re on a Staycation in Devon!) feel free to follow me on IG! ♥️
I’d also like to see Aldi vs Lidl! We are aiming to try it ourselves soon, as we get the bits from Lidl we can’t always find in Aldi. Enjoy your staycation! I hope we get to see a vlog, I’d love to visit Devon 😊
I shop 3 weeks in Lidl and 1 week in Waitrose. I don’t buy the items I can get in Lidl from Waitrose, I use my Waitrose delivery to get all the ingredients that I can’t in Lidl such as types of fish (eg Hake fillets), cuts of meat, certain vegetables (fennel), store cupboard ingredients and spice mixes. I primarily cook from scratch and combining both stores works for me. I live in a rural location so am very lucky to have Lidl as my nearest food store, but don’t have a wide choice of supermarkets close by.
This sounds like a really good way of doing things. I have a similar set up with Aldi and Tesco, although find Tesco (where I am) is very expensive but the quality doesn’t match that of Waitrose/M&S so it’s not preferable but sometimes, I can’t find something in Aldi, I need to go to the next nearest which is Tesco! Xx
a summer series of each video tryoing one product, but from each super market to find the best picnic/bbq essentials. e.g. trying coleslaw/quiche from as many super markets to find us the best
I'd like to see some shop brought items, eg pies versus homemade versions. I know Lawrence is good at some dishes, maybe do a fish pie or chilli comparison? Both I think could be family targeted.
I would be really excited to see how Tesco fairs against Aldi especially with the price difference using a club card, like is it just a con to get you to shop there with the clubcard or does it really make a difference? Loved these videos and can't wait for some more xx
even though i work in Lidl i don't tend to shop there unless its for my break, so it'd be interesting to see the differences in what the quailty is and what people actually say about the food.
Hi, Sophie loved the Aldi V Waitrose challenge eight pounds is a lot to pay for a pie though I think you are right Aldi and Lidl prices are somewhat lower. hope you have a lovely time in Devon. love to all xxx
I really don't understand why food have to be so expensive, but I always appreciate you and Lawrence's honesty. Great taste testing guys, take care and have a good night🤗.
A Aldi and Lidl comparison would be good . I seem to like Aldi over Lidl on most things although I do prefer Lidl multi hoops (Cheerios ) over ALDIs and Lidls cheese and onion rolls are nicer . I only ever used to eat heinz tomato soup but since is got ridiculously priced I tried all t(E shops own brands and Aldi came out best closely followed by Lidl then Sainburys
Very unlikely there would be any GM veg in Waitrose, or any other uk supermarket as UK aren’t permitted to grow GM crops and EU only grow very specific type of GM grain mainly used for animal feed.
The Falafel looked really nice. I do like pie every now and again but would not be paying £8, I don't think! The Hollands Minced Beef and Onion pie is really tasty - only £4 but I always wait until it's on offer! Great vlog as ever - nice to compare, and I suppose the Waitrose items might be nice for a treat x I do have to say though, Aldi's prices are rapidly increasing on a daily basis!
Sopherina, the cost of living in the UK and Ireland has gone up by so much. It's so rediculous the prices for accommodation , I wanted to holiday in Ireland but the prices of getels and b&b's are so expensive. Devon is spectacular, rolling hills country side and the ocean not to far away. It green grass ,fresh air.

Could you do a Sainsbury’s comparison as they match Aldi’s pricing on certain products and would be good to know the quality difference.
I really enjoyed this! Please do Aldi vs lidl as we have both here in Ireland. We don't have Asda, Waitrose, Sainsburys or Morrisons here xx
Great video sophie. ❤

Can you review the Waitrose 4 Cherry Bakewell Tarts?

Lawrence is def right about homemade pies not being cheap to make but they're better and we know what's in them. Great video 👌

next time you make the cookies as soon as they come out the oven tap the tray on the side and it will flatten them out a bit x
Ooooh! Good tip, thank you!! Xxx

You buy the best food!

If you have an air fryer, do your cookies in there next time. Would like to see ocado/marks & marks and Spencer comparison.
What a fab idea!😍
You get what you pay for, got to remember that Aldi is a bargain supermarket and waitrose is high end
Aldi vs asda! X
