U r awesome
Thank you 🙏. That means a lot.
I think you are one of the best teacher in photography
Thanks for all
Thanks, Dipak! Much appreciated 🙏🤗
Respected sir
I have already Canon R6 it is really great camera..
I am wildlife photographer so I need much crop photos... at present I use sigma 150 -600 lens it's give good results...
Can I purchase new 90d for more crop because it is crop camera for more zoom and 32 mp
Please advice me when you are free..
Well, the 90D will definitely give you bigger magnification, Dipak. But with wildlife you sometimes have to shoot at high ISO. That’s where the R6 has quite an advantage over the D90. Also, you might miss some of the perks of mirrorless, when using the D90. That’s the things you have to consider 😉.
Respected Sir
Thank you so much for your valuable advise...
Hello Wolf. Even though I know all the concepts you talked about in your videos, I really love the easy way you explain it to beginners. I wish I discovered your videos when I started, that would have saved me lots of time learning. Great content for beginners and your site for lens comparison is invaluable and extremely useful for beginners. Thanks
Edit: I also wonder why this channel has few subscribers and low likes! You should have thousands if not millions! Good luck man!
Thanks so much, Ihab! I really appreciate that. Maybe one day youtube will even decide to show my content more in searches 😂, then I might get more subscribers and views.

@@wolfamri I've just watched your sensor cleaning tutorial - I've always taken mine to a camera shop but they've never done a perfect job. I'll give it a go myself - maybe practice on an older body first.
I just answered Jasons reply on that video. I hated sensor cleaning before I found this method. Now it’s a piece of cake 😉
Nice&useful tool!
Thanks, Jens 🙏🙏
this tool is excellent it will help us in choosing right lens with right aperture
Thanks, Krishnan. Great to hear that! 👍
Awesome tool!

With all the online education and tools, how do you have time to take pictures? Amazing work. Thank you.
Thank you so much! They accumulated over the years 😂
That’s really cool.
Thanks 🙏🙏
Thanks..❤
Thank you 😉
Wow, your videos are helping me so much!! Thank you! I hope you have time to answer my question. I am shooting a group of 15 people very soon and I am using a Canon 1000D with a 15-50mm lens. How much distance do I need to keep, so that everybody is sharp and I still get the bokeh effect?
Thank you 🤗! That depends on a few different factors 😉. How well their faces are aligned in a line parallel to your camera sensor. Unfortunately, the wider the lens, the less background blur. I am a bit of a rebel when it comes to group shots. I like to shoot lenses wide open to get that background blur, accepting that some faces might not be 1.000% sharp 😉. But the perceived sharpness is still there bacause they separate so well from the background. I’d recommend to shoot quite a few images with different settings so that you can choose what you like best afterwards 😉. To understand background blur, did you have a look at my video the 5 factors of background blur?
@@wolfamri thanks so much for replying! I will watch your video about that now. The shoot is tomorrow, I'm very excited and a bit nervous haha. Thanks again!
Everything so good in that lens comparision link...but please add lens having f1.4 85mm and 105mm sir...please sir please..it my deepest personal request..
Thanks for your feedback. Maybe if enough people watch the video and are interested, I’ll do another lens comparison with even more lenses.
@@wolfamri you know sir i find that the apsc camera with 70 200 at f2.8 has more lens compression than the full frame...what do you think sir?
@@ParichayaGFX That would be logical, because you would go further away to keep the same composition (in regard to the model). That should be the same with other lenses too.
The compression has to do with relative distance - so e.g. the nose is closer than the ears. But it gets less and less important the longer the focal length you use.
@@wolfamri thank you sir
I want to see how lens compression works best in 105mm f1.4 vs 70 200 f2.8
thanks, Parichaya. I’m afraid I would have to repeat the whole test to do that. But I agree that this would be highly interesting. Also 50mm f1.2.
Sir I am your great fan
Thanks so much 🙏🙏
Hello Mr. Amri,
How about MFT sensor?
Hi. I’m afraid I don’t have a camera with an MFT sensor and particularly not the lenses for it 😬. But the difference would be the same between APSC and MFT as it is between Full frame and MFT. So: less DOF than APS-C 😉
Greetings sir. I have a doubt, your insight would be really useful to me. I was looking at Sony rx100 M3. It shoots at f/2.8 at 70mm. Applying the crop factor for full frame, it translates to about 185mm and f/8. Using your lens comparison tool, I found that it gives a pretty good blur. Then that makes it a good camera for portrait photography right? Or am I missing something? Is it the low light I should be worried about?
Pie, I'm afraid not really. The RX100 has a much smaller sensor than the two sensor sizes I tested. For portrait photography I would not go beyond APS-C sensor size. I explain the factors of background blur in this video, sensor size is one of them.
ua-cam.com/video/G5bfUzJaBCw/v-deo.html
And yes, I'm afraid low light is an issue with such small sensors.
@@wolfamri Thank you for the prompt reply sir :)
My pleasure 😉
Thanks Wolf Anti🙏🙏❤️.Can you help me out to select a lense?I have an old Nikon D 3200 and a 4 month old Nikon D 7500.I have a nifty fifty,18-140 kit lense and now ordered a Tamron 100-400 f4.5-6.3.Now I need a bit more wide open telephoto lense (A 70-200 range). There is nikkor 70-200 which I can't afford right now.So I have to choose from Tamron 70-200f2.8 and 70-210 f4.It seems 2.8 G2 is better but the price point makes me think about the f 4.Can you guide me to decide which one to buy?Is the f4 is worthy for the price or shall I wait for sometime to buy the G2 version? Kindly convey your thoughts about these 2 lenses and help me to arrive in a decision 😊
Hey Kesava. Hmmm, that’s a little difficult. Personally, I don’t own a 70-200 f/2.8 because of the size and weight. I chose the f/4 because of that. But since I really like the look of blurred backgrounds, I often use my 135mm f/1.8 from Sigma. That again isn’t all that lightweight. I assume you had a look at the comparison tool on my website?
@@wolfamri Thanks😊❤️
@@wolfamri Yes I did
I have a full frame mirrorless camera with a 70-200 f2.8 and I can confirm it is massive and heavy and very expensive too 2700 euros. I personally don't mind the weight but I don't know about you. You will definitely get tired after some time. With f2.8 I can definitely shoot portraits especially at 200mm but I also need to be far from my subject. This is useful for family and kids portrait when you don't want to get very close to them so as you leave them at nature!
Wolfgang Du könnest hier auch die deutsche amazon seite verlinken so kann ich das über amazon de kaufen. Oder ist das nicht sinnvoll?
Vielen Dank, Tina! Kommt bald ;)
