I plugged in 4 Rokus at once to watch things in 16K
Wow, that is so fetch !
👆👆 congrats 👏👏 you are one of our luckiest winner 🏅🏅 message me on the above Telgram and claim your prize 🎁🎁
I tried that, only got 12 K, I think one of my Roku’s wasn’t working
Smartest mad lad alive right now!
Geometrically speaking, I think that four 4K’s would actually only get us to 8K; we would need _sixteen_ 4K’s to reach 16K. 😵💫
Ultra LT was $30 at Walmart 3 weeks ago. I grabbed one and have been very happy.
Thank you so much ,I should have watch this yesterday before buying the wrong device !
The main reason I went with the Roku Ultra is on a feature you failed to mention. The Roku Ultra 2022 also comes with HDR10+. I have a Samsung S95B and it only supports HDR10+ and all the other HDR passive versions. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ are active meta data and that allows for much greater HDR control. HDR10 is passive and although it is better than nothing, HDR10+ can be competitive with Dolby Vision. At least that's my opinion. Yours may vary. ;0)
She failed to mention absolutely anything other than remote and voice assistant, didn't go over the specs or anything. I learned more from comments than this actual video.
She also failed to talk about the stick is the worst for internet connection. That's important.
Thanks for the info. I’m new to this and thoroughly confused 😮
Stay away from the Express
The fact it hooks into your TV's USB port is a nice bonus so you don't need the plug hanging down your wall after you hang up your TV but .....
It lags the stick is better but doesn't last as long as the ultra
Just get the ultra you'll be happy longer
Thanks. I just ordered the Roku Express 4k plus! (Because it's the cheapest of the best 👀)
Thank goodness that I've bought the Roku Express 4K.
Stick 4K. Thanks, very good video.
I have a Roku TV in my back patio for watching football. What I want is a sound bar and surround sound that can stand the northern California weather. All speakers would be under an awning
kudos for listing your top pick right at the beginning.
the top pic will not work at my house, just to confirm it I bought a second one and neither will work on two tvs I have.
I love the 4K stick
My Streambar is constantly auto-muting when I switch to different sources on my TV and sometimes within the Roku homepage. How can I turn this off? Driving me nuts. Thanks in advance for any help.
Roku does have a cheaper subwoofer for $130. It’s smaller than the regular sub but would be fine in smaller rooms. Also, I do have some reliability issues with airplay on my Roku‘s. The audio drops out occasionally when playing Apple Music from my phone to the Roku devices around my home. I know it is not my Wi-Fi because airplay works just fine on my Apple TV. I do still love the Roku devices though! They just can’t be beat for the price!
👆👆 congrats 👏👏 you are one of our luckiest winner 🏅🏅 message me on the above Telgram and claim your prize 🎁🎁
@Shiba Inu I'm not seeing that. The audio products are actually priced higher than they are on amazon. There are some streaming devices pretty cheap, but they are older models.
@Shiba Inu Its apple? Not sure what that means.
@Shiba Inu I have both an apple tv 4k and Roku Ultra 4k. I love both! Apple has the best audio nd video features, but , as you said, roku is the most open. I can get all the free content I want on my Apple TV tho.
Thank you! 😁
Thank you. 😊
I am getting the Roku stream bar soon it will make my to just sound better
I have onn tv Roku and I'm liking it and I just updated it
Pretty awesome. The Roku's aren't bad either.
Just purchased Roku express 4K plus. Waiting for it in the mail. Hopefully it’s as good as this video advertises. 🤞🏻
How is it?
I will never understand these companies. Why is there more than two options available? I will admit the soundbar addition is pretty radical; kinda wish Google/Nest thought to do something like this.
Yeah, I'm kind of confused by the choices. Like Roku 4k Express and Roku 4K Express Plus.... plus what?!
@@gene6867 The Plus comes with a Voice remote and slightly better WiFi connection. That's it. Really only paying more to get a better remote.
I’m thinking about getting the most expensive one the one I have keeps saying something about power thing
Will the Roku Express 4k+ work with my non 4k Samsung TV 2015?
Oh definitely. Although you won’t see content in 4k resolution only HD. Better than nothing and also it’s the cheapest way to get tv controls
I have the devices with USB . Great for having lots of films in flash drives. Replaces stacks of DVDs
I decided on the Roku Ultra, but that aside - this is the cutest CNET review girl I've ever seen :)
The thirsty will forever thirst. Thirst on, my friend.
the entry level roku express makes sense if your tv doesn't have hdmi-cec and if your tv is from the late 2000s
Is it worth buying the 4k version if I’m only streaming spectrum cable through the app?
I would prefer the Express 4K Plus.
I think so. The content will upscale by itself
I wanna dump cable and move to UA-cam tv without buying new TVs for my home. Will the highly recommend 1st Ken for 40 bucks already have the UA-cam tv app installed and then all I have to do is pay the 60 bucks for the service and I’m good?? Also does it have great wifi??
👆👆 congrats 👏👏 you are one of our luckiest winner 🏅🏅 message me on the above Telgram and claim your prize 🎁🎁
Beware, UA-cam TV just went up to $72 per month
@@Jeanology you’re late… that was inevitable and they’re still cheaper then U-verse and xfinity.
@@XX-166 How am I late, I literally just got the notice that my bill is going up the day before yesterday lol. No worries though 🥰
@@Jeanology the notice from UA-cam tv is actually on your screen and in your email when you boot up and it’s been in the press for days. We love you regardless
I’m gettin all
I've been using the Roku Express that my son gave me as gift, for a few years now. My major complaint with this unit, is that the streaming video and audio get out of sync very often. It requires unplugging the power from the back of the unit and plugging it back in, to bring it back in sync. This is very annoying for someone like me, who has OCD. I simply cannot watch a program where the audio and video are out of sync. Thinking of buying the Ultra and hope it does not have the same problem.
Oh, that’s exactly what I don’t want to happy, the delay between the video and audio… do you know if the Ultra actually fix the issue?
Firestick has a way of sinking this together. Maybe utube an answer to this.
If you buy the $50 4K Roku and then still by the pro remote it would still be cheaper than buying the ultra for $100 and does the exact same thing
I would have got an AppleTV for when I go on vacation but I didn't want to spend $100+ on one so I decided to just buy a Roku Streaming Stick 4K for $45 at Target and I can get my Airplay and Plex
You forgot the Roku LT, another one to definitely avoid
👆👆 congrats 👏👏 you are one of our luckiest winner 🏅🏅 message me on the above Telgram and claim your prize 🎁🎁
You failed to mention the audio output on the ultra, the only reason I watched this
Please tell me more. Is the audio output good on the Roku Ultra? I want to connect BT headphones without getting an annoying delay (like my last Fire TV)
You forgot the ultra LT and the premiere which also supports 4K and HDR
The premier is discontinued. It’s replaced by the express 4k
I have smart TV built-in my Samsung and its terrible, I use my ROKU on that TV. Its an older ROKU 3, but still better than most of the newer ROKU's
Same here! Samsung TV not so smart! Roku ultra fixed that problem.
I am (still) using a 15 year old plasma TV, a Pioneer Elite 50”. It’s still working great and has a decent picture and great sound.
I currently have an older Roku device that I think is starting to malfunction - when I fire up the TV, in about 15 minutes or so the TV will make the electronic version of a hiccup, with the TV volume either dropping or increasing a minute or so thereafter. I change the channel (no volume problem at the new channel), go back to my original channel, and no volume problems at this original channel. 🤷🏼♂️. This device also doesn’t have a mute button, which I would really like to have.
So, given the above, I would like to buy a new Roku device; which should I consider? I watch streaming regular TV mostly, sports, and the occasional streamed movie.
Thanks in advance for help and comments!
I still have the Elite 55" Plasma TV which keeps on chugging along with no glitches making it worth the premium price I paid fifteen years or so ago.
@@paulp7365 Sweet! Are you using a Roku device on it? If yes, which?
So, which one is the best?
I would prefer either the Express 4K (+) or the Streambar.
She has personality, LOVE ITTTTT
💥Warning: Unless you have a Roku TV, you will not only NOT get local channels using the Roku 4K express, and you will also NOT be able to adjust your picture settings' color, contrast, size, etc😤 Roku also states on their website should you have problems with the device, "We do not service the Roku 4K express." Granted the 4K picture is great, but you'd better keep the old remote handy🙄
Thanks for the heads up, I never read the fine print!
@@misschin99 I'm not sure about the "Fine print": no one reads it🤫 I was told of "Not getting local channels" by a Roku agent after numerous frustrating phone calls to their, alleged, Support🙄 The rest is what I've experienced.
You can easily get your local channels with a streaming service. The Roku devices clearly are not antennas. However, many local channels DO have free apps on Roku, where you can watch their news and other original programming. I can also adjust the settings of my tv as I please for the input the roku uses.
@@mgratk According to the Roku agent I spoke with, "You cannot get 'local' channels on a Roku device"; only "if you have a Roku TV can you get 'Local' channels: according tjo Roku. I also use the "Input" on my Sony TV's remote to switch from Roku to "local."
@@DangerousParent If you subscribe to UA-cam TV you can indeed get locals. I don't know what YT is charging per month. I'm not the subscriber in my household. There are probably other apps that offer locals as well. In addition, for news and weather and original local programming, one of my local channels offers a great Roku app. WNEP. But of course they don't have the ABC network shows on their app.
I'm a Roku 4k stick fan
👆👆 congrats 👏👏 you are one of our luckiest winner 🏅🏅 message me on the above Telgram and claim your prize 🎁🎁
Is there anything in 4k free?
None I’m getting a Roku 2 XS Angry Birds edition
Best Buy has the Roku streaming stick 4K for $24.95.
Remote no off physical switch same with the remote. Bad implementation
👆👆 congrats 👏👏 you are one of our luckiest winner 🏅🏅 message me on the above Telgram and claim your prize 🎁🎁
Same with firestick, has to load data i assume
iPad is the best streaming device as it's a matter of quality over quantity and if you have a pair of zoomies or something similar then you can prop the iPad on a tripod and have multiple people watch. People rant about Samsungs tvs not giving you a migraine because of OLED but that's not portable.
I got a Roku gadget is the remote
I've heard there are quality control issues with the Ultra. Which is a shame, because I'd get one and give my 4k+ to my dad.
😮😮 I have to say that I am disappointed with the limited functionality of Roku as a TV box. One of the major drawbacks is that it doesn't allow users to install APKs and gain access to the Google Play Store. This severely limits the range of apps and content available on the platform, meaning that users miss out on a lot of potential entertainment options.
It is still very limited in terms of functionality.
Rokus use a proprietary fork of Linux, not Android.
It takes at least 5 minutes to turn on the TV and that sucks bad at 6am Thirty years ago you could click at once and walk away
When did CNET reviews get good again? CNET was great 10-15 years ago, fell off but seem to be pretty good lately.
The Roku express works perfect
My parents refuse to use an Apple TV so i guess ill get them this
Wat about roku le
TV with built in Roku are bricked unless you accept new Terms and conditions. I don't use the app, and I will never use the app after bricking my TV. You can not do anything with the TV unless you accept their arbitration terms.
I can't believe Roku as long as they have been out they still don't have a web browser🙃🙄
Roku express
maybe a series for this roku revolution.
Megastreaming
There is No apostrophe in Rokus (in your title). “Rokus” is plural in this instance.
Roku's OR Rokus... how does it matter. This isn't an English class 😀
Actually, Roku isn’t pluralized at all because it’s also the name of a company. In this instance, it’s Roku models.
Thanks for adding so much to this topic.
Oh Laura, Laura, Laura...
Or should i say Karen, Karen, Karen..
🤨🤨🤨🤨
Leave us all alone, you sad little curmudgeon
I believe the plural actually is "roki"
I have an android phone though 😮
You'll be sorry. Do not waste your money or it will bite you in the end. Trust me !!
LUKE WARM PAUSE!
Can’t follow her due to the horrible background music, WTH
Will I still need one if I have an antenna without wifi
👆👆 congrats 👏👏 you are one of our luckiest winner 🏅🏅 message me on the above Telgram and claim your prize 🎁🎁
I really should have watched this video before buying my roku's LOL I bought the Roku Express I will say I agree that it is pretty stupid
I have an older model TV with no USB ports, but does have HDMI port. I was looking for a Roku that doesn't power by USB, but alas, this video never addresses how these devices are powered. Thanks for nothing.
your $40 is a rip off. I have two and neither one is compatible to any tv in my house.
Roku means six in japanese. So it should have 6k -lol-
Fail Roku. The fact that people need to search for videos like this to understand what the distances between all the Rokus are says a lot.
What you yapping about?
I don’t understand why roku doesn’t make any proper control remote. Including all other brands which offer Roku Tv as well as Roku themself comes with the most stupid control remote in the world. It’s super noisy when click, hard to navigate actually almost impossible to navigate with a remote like this. I recommend strongly stay away from anything Roku, TV or streaming box. Get a Apple TV box or Chrome-cast for best experience or go with TV that offer Google TV or Tizen OS. Roku how stupid are the directors at Roku believe in offer people such as remote like what they offer. 😅😅 it’s 2023 man, not stone-age!
Best buy... none
Roku sucks. I will never own another Roku related product
Why is that? I was looking to buy a Streaming stick 4k
All Stores Please Lower the price of all Military and Local for all Brands of Roku Products and Accessories and Production Cost Now That's too much $$ The Whole World Now 🙏🙏🙏
She looks like the vp of marketing for bud light. No offence,,
ROKU IS GARBAGE
dont buy a roku they will start playing advretizements on your tv when its idle also they havw forced arbitration
Bro, you can turn it off 😐
Roku sucks get chrome cast.
Roku is beyond horrible. One month & I'm yanking it out of the walls like vile weed. It has more bugs than the City Dump.
Bye Karen.
Roku stinks. Many channels offer old tv shows, but many episodes are unavailable, and you're buried in stupid commercials, some woke, and the audio gets out of sync. They offer free trials to view other channels, but be aware of running the risk of additional subscriptions. I was wary of using this, and I was right. So be aware. Roku isn't what you think it is.
Roku sucks. They don't tell you it requires an internet connection to cast to screen. Waste of money.
Roku support has no solution
Roku sucks. They don't tell you it requires an internet connection to cast to screen. Waste of money
Get lost!
😂🤣
OR YOU COULD GET THE ROKU EXPRESS 3 WITH REMOTE FOR FREE FROM A RELATIVE WHEN THEY UPGRADE THERE ROKU STREAMER. 😂 IT WORKS GREAT.
