In History Tour it was more of a groove and not so fast speed. Gave Michael more opportunity to sing and not feel rush with words and he can just feel it and groove.

Both had James brown moves. Dangerous tour was more flashy but his moves in history tour actually became more intricate. It’s the small details

No. The second leg of HIStory Tour was slowed down. In the 1st leg, the tempo is fast and close to the DWT tempo.
HIStory is really special for me because my very first MJ item is HIStory album and the only time Michael Jackson was in my country and hometown (and performed) was during the HIStory tour (Finland, Helsinki 1997)
MJFANGIRLTV They actually brought in the signature choreography on the 2nd leg of the Bad tour. If you watch the Wembley performance it’s the same choreography.
HIStory Tour was his old man game so a lot of the songs are Slowed down than what we are accustomed to. He was older that’s why
He also had lupus, there are many symptoms that can affect your mental health, skin and breathing. I’m impressed either way most wouldn’t still perform under such controversy and societal backlash.

I would have to watch all these tours in their entirety before deciding the best, but the entrance to WBSS from Victory was so powerful. However, I loved that WBSS from History was the same tempo as the recording. It was nice to finally hear it sung the way it was intended to be

WBSS is one of my favorite live performances. I think Human Nature is also way up in my favorite list.
An yes i believe that was my man greg running the dangerous band on Bucharest show. He left at the mid way point and brad took over you definitely hear the difference but foot killing them drums on history
What I love so much about this song are all the components that make up the song, from the adlibs to the harmonics, the layering of his vocals to the "mamase mamasa mamakusa" segment. Those 1 second "Hee hee ha!"s are one of my favorite parts lol
It's always hard for me to pick a favourite, because different things stand out in different performances. Audio-wise, HIStory is my favourite, because I don't prefer the sped-up tempo of the first three.
I think they slowed it down in history because he was already i think a few songs into the concert and also history was his most bestselling concert out of all the others and it had many more shows. (50-52 i think)

Ok I've watch it so much i forget how hard he really goes on that dangerous tour wbss like WOW he was going for bloodddddd. Almost changed my pick! That step is 100 percent the james brown james did that till his final days. He also added the pop lock step on the dangerous 1. When you asked whats that ? Thats the official lockers step to start poppin and locking. History is nice the whole history tour is slowed down damn near to the actual speed of the record an i think thats why ive always been meh about history tour shows..that and the playback being almost exclusively used. All that to say...theres no bad version of wbss lol

Very interesting to see all 4 performances back to back. For me from greatest to least greatest performance in order would be Victory, Dangerous, Bad, History. The History performance although cool with the robotics was too slow and had less dance moves. The Bad was good but a lesser too similar version of the Victory performance monis Mjs brothers. Dangerous was amazing, high energy and amazing dance moves, but missing one thing...The victory tour was best performance with a Mj and his brothers and high energy as well as the best costumes! Michael is amazing solo, but nothing beats all the brothers together in my book! Thanks for these verzus videos!
To be fair, the performance they chose for HIStory was pretty meh. Bucharest 1996 was much better and probably the best dancing he's ever done.

MJ one said that he loved how WBSS made him feel on stage and that he love to keep it loose, funky and whatever he was feeling that particular night he would do certain moves. WBSS is know for his stop and go parts during the song. Hehe.
Right now I'm still on the bad error but I'm almost done with that I'm going to be on the dangerous era real soon
The last comment I want to make is if I had to guess his best intro of all four of the tours I would have to give it to the history tour the history tour to me personally was his best intro because I like when he comes in on the rocket ship because even though it's like he's taking them on the roller coaster ride right there but I just love seeing him come in on the rocket

I am going put a new twist on judging the 4 different performance of Wanna Be Startin’ Something.
I’m just gonna judge the performance based upon the outfit that was wore turn the performance and the background lighting.
My Number one pick will be the Victory tour I like the outfit that Michael and his brothers wore during the performance. I also like the background lighting, was really good, it was very colorful.
My second choice will be at the History tour, I like the gold suit, Pants and the shirt goes good together. The background dancer outfit is not that great black and bland.
Background lighting and coloring is pretty good
The Bad tour, Michael outfit it is just too black and the background lightning was just too dark. There is a little bit of coloring in the background lighting but it feel like it wasn’t used very well.
Background dancers outfits a little bit interesting they do have a little bit a color on their outfit that give the performance a little bit a color and brighten the background lighting a little bit.
The Dangerous tour Michael’s outfit does not really match together that well. The outfit is little bit of improvement then the Bad tour at least it’s not all black and the background dancer outfit is just too black and too bland.

he started that move that you like on the sec leg of the bad tour 😭 in ‘88 and if listen closely to the drums on all 4 tours, the bad a dangerous tour drums was not play as the record by ricky lawson and the victory and history tour drums were played by jonathan muffet and play like the original record but he filled in one kick drum beat to make it more funkier to dance for michael he said.. making it 8 kick drum beats while the original was 7, and in history sugarfoot hi hat (the instrument that make a half saying T sound) was more groovy in the history tour then victory and he changed in again during the this is it version. and while ricky in the first leg of the bad tour in ‘87 was missing 1 drum kicks and was played differently and the second leg bad tour in ‘88 to dangerous tour ricky was playing the same original 7 kick notes, but differently !! and his hi hat (the instrument that make a half saying T sound) changed up and down in the bad tour to the royal concert. but i love how sugarfoot play WBSS live.. it was closer to the record but more sharp and groovy !!

I think he's moving a bit at a slower pace because during the HIStory Tour Michael was having a few health issues. Alot happened to him between the Dangerous Tour and Here. Also Michael was a bit older on this tour and these songs that he had in this set list required alot of movement so pacing himself was good
There are better shows to see his dancing in HIStory. She took Copenhagen, that is one the most boring performances of all time.

Victory Tour was fresh and new, and of course he was very enthusiastic plus his brothers were performing with him and I love to see their family connection when they perform.
Dangerous Tour on the other hand was also enthusiastic, more entertaining, and I guess alittle more sexy! Plus shout out to Siedah Garrett being the background singer 5:28

The dangerous tour is a great show but I don’t like how the songs/performances sound and look when there sped up in particular WBSS & Billie Jean. The faster tempo works on some songs like Working day and Night and jam - but I think the slower tempo of the history tour works best...imo 😎
