Also i have some questions if you would like to answer!
1.why you did not tried to 3d print the wing of the windex also, but you preferred to make it from balsa?
2.which motor/battery do you use on windex

The Windex 1200c is not ready yet. There were problems with the motor order, but next week should arrive. Then I can share with you.
About 3D printing of wings. I did a lot of experiments when the end result was that the 3D printed wing was too heavy and when I tried to do it thinner, the wing surface started to curl. In general, I did not like the result.
@@markoroolaid i see that some 3d printed planes makers like eclipson, planeprint, 3d labprint, design the wings with 1 outer wall and some inner cross patterns representing the traditional wing ribs. As far as i can see the result is pretty lightweight. What was your strategy on designing the wings? I am really interested in your work. The windex fuselage design seems easy to design yet strong with the fiberglass and carbon vinyl covering. Do you think this method is good on final weight or the fuselage is overweight too?
Fuselage came very light. However, fuselage is easier to print because there is no "wide" surface that would like to be curved. Anyway, if you have some good examples and tips, then definitely try to try them.
