It will be in early access for a while, as you have noted, but I think that the project will continue, first because of the number of people who are interested (which means he has likely earned quite a bit of money for the game) and because he has his heart in this.

Looks that Settlers game will go to another level with Manor Lords.
I really hope he puts in some mechanics to make replayability much better but not too much, we dont need another paradox. I am hopeful for it
I feel like the name is an apt indicator of the game it is. Manor Lords. Just a manor. Not a kingdom or nation. You're the lord, of a manor. I assume you try to maintain or grow your station and community in medieval society, which was pretty small unless you lived in one of the world's few cities.

Have you seen Bellwright? That game also looks pretty good and has a similar directional combat system to Bannerlord. It just released this week.
yes, similar to medieval dynasty that i like, but the early feedback has been bad so best to wait
FWIW the dev himself has stated multiple times that the game is far more city builder than combat focused. So I dont think you are wrong in saying you fell that way
I really hope for the best, it has the start of something to great, like how Warband was

I figure out all the mystery of the game mechanics, and now the hype is kinda gone. It's kinda sad, and I spend my day thinking which angle to play the game differently but I don't think there is something I haven't done. It's all kinda too easy.
the start of Early access is always tough. Lets hope Slavic can deliver on new mechanics
I had this on wishlist also but in the end I don't think It can grow much more. The dev is very talented and it shows how the heart is in it but we have to be realistic here. I learned my lesson from experience a 1 person developer team can't deliver a product I can be entertained for hundreds of hours. Lately that is my one and only criteria when I decide the question: is it worth a buy.
Recently I had my eyes on Wartales but it seems it won't have the debt what battle bros have and it lacks end game content. Battle bros world is too dark and depressing for me. Bellwright looks interesting but their developer team known for abandoning their last project. Yes they say it is not true but from my experience it is true they just deny it because it hurts their reputation. I told you Bannerlord will come out of Early Access but never gets finished. It's just how Taleworlds rolling. There are interesting mod projects in the work. This is the only hope this game has in my opinion. Crown Wars coming soon we'll see...
I agree, we don't have much faith in companies or game right now. It is sad to get something you love to get abandoned only 75% done. Sad world we live in

I feel you should really see the gameplay to find out if its for ya. Maybe see mine. I dont think it will give the same hours of gameplay since its the start of early access. So be weary but if you love what you see, then buy

A wish a bigger map wish many lords fighting, or a multiplayer event. Maybe one day... wish money flowing, he can do it.
How about get an Europian map to work as one kingdom... would be great.
Will be interesting to see if he does, that's where mods could come in. Lets hope I am very happy with the game being the start of early access.

Nothing in early access is worth
I had 80 hours from a single run in baldur's gate 3 in act 1. during early access. similar time in divinity original sin 1 and 2. all in early access. there are some games that are great, even that early. just gotta do your research
yeah I had fun with Bannerlord and now Manor Lords. The fun is watching it progress and seeing how they work so you learn as you go
Completey disagree. The most fun I've had in the last couple of years is from Early Access games. Dyson Sphere sis phenomenal and still EA. Recently, Enshrouded and Planet Builder are both great games in EA and now this - I'm only a couple of hours in and already know I'm going to love it.,
