I would put a piece of wood under the tank that's over hanging/ make sure it's supported in someway. It would probably be fine but not point risking it.

Rebuild it with pressure treated, not too hard to find some cheap.

Add a piece of wood/batton on the front face, wouldn't want to cut into the wood at the back supporting weight and would be an utter faff to do! 😅
Extra piece of wood at the front can but cut and screwed on, easiest and quickest way I would think 👌
Got to love amphipods/gammarus shrimp will eat nearly anything 👍

I really enjoy your videos; I wish more people were into the saltwater tanks that you are.

@@EverydayAquarist One of my tanks is an easy going 20 gallon with rock flowers and a few leather corals. Some macros would look really nice in there.

That back piece of wood cut a hole and add an extra piece to reinforce, you’re more likely to bang /catch an overhang on the front

      Thanks for the idea

@@EverydayAquarist I was going to say just overhang it on the back, but I’ve heard bad things about unsupported edges on tanks cracking. Another thing you could do, move that back beam forward to fit the pipe through, then ply/osb a base to support all the edges, with a drilled hole through the osb

Think I'd be gutting a slot out of the wood mate. Would just irritate me every time I looked at it otherwise even when I'm just laying in my bed and looking at it in my brain haha...

Haha yeah someone said put another wood bar on the front so I'll probably do that to support it and make it look even
