- I've always loved Dragon Ball Z's American themes, particularly "Heaven Sent Trunks" and "Heroic Trunks" I believe are both by Mike Smith and Scott Morgan collectively. I wanted to merge the softer version and the action version together so it felt like one cohesive story. I also wrote in Dragon Ball Super Theme "Desperate Assault" by Norihito Sumitomo to the piece to represent his struggle and transformation during the Goku Black saga. “Future Trunks” by Scott Morgan was used too.

Future trunks is both a Warrior and a TRUE hero, probably the finest in all of DB when it comes to pure intentions. All he wants to do is protect and save

His mother wasn’t a terrible person obviously, but she was incredibly selfish and about herself, none of the selflessness and want to protect came from Bulma, that was all Gohan.
Trunks the one character in Dragonball that has been through the worst, yet still rises above and reliquishes Pure Evil. Trunks is one of my favorites for that specific reason.

The burden of an entire planet's hopes and dreams placed on one child, he makes progress, hope is in sight, only for his entire *timeline* to be scarred by a vengeful God, only to then be erased beyond hope of saving by the whims of an uncaring God. Trunks truly has it the worst out of any character in the series.
Feels like a good description of the story of this piece of music 🎶 he definitely didn’t get a “happy” ending like everyone else. But at least he still has Mai, after everything that happened he still has hope 😢

Glad I found this one, although this is a random bit from me, I've been grinding levels in DBZ Kakarot: Trunks' DLC Warrior of Hope.
The whole game plus this medley helped put it into perspective, a Young Boy Born into a Doomed World No One but Him, his Mother Bulma, and Gohan a Teacher and Brother when Trunks needed him the most to help build up to what he is today, wise words from him is to be "Stronger than who we lost in our lives", in his case Gohan, His Father Vegeta, and a lot of people who he would now call friends, whether it be the beginning of the end, or a fresh brand new life worth protecting, You must be strong for everyone cause you never know you may be "The Last Hope for Humanity."
This remix/orchestration is going to be in my mind for a Long Darn Time.

I've listened to multiple cover for trunks' theme all throughout UA-cam, and it's because I actively look for songs and covers that creators are okay with me using with proper credit. This song not only is an amazing mix of 2 versions of the themes from Z and super, but is a beautiful take for trunk's character. The vocals at the beginning expressing his tragic upbringing in a dystopian future, to the end with the awesome guitar of him using the power he gained on his journey to fix it. This is the best trunks theme cover I've listened on all of UA-cam. My friend gamer goku showed me your channel after you gave him permission to use a cover, and I'm amazed at how criminally underrated your songs are. Wonderful job my man!

I love how haunting the beginning is, especially since the picture is just after Gohan's death. Like holy hell this is a wonderful way to highlight the birth of Trunk's rage and determination to make sure that at least one future can be saved and that hope for his wont die with the death of his master.
And yet Zeno decided to shit on that goal.

The score is incredible, but I think this needs a re-release with the voices from the original movie. Just as it is with Goku's SS3 transformation, Trunks' pain and depth of power in this moment was perfectly captured by the voice artists. Combined with your score, it would be a whole new animal that would redfine the greatness we all witnessed on screen when he made his debut.

Gladius, I'm making a DBZ fan edit and I was wondering if I could use the very beginning part of this song for Trunks's Super Saiyan Transformation. It's just under 6 hours and the first 20 minutes is The History of Trunks. It goes from that to The end of Cell Saga. I just wanted to ask for permission and didn't know another way to reach you. I listen to this to make me forget about how badly trunks got cucked at the end of the Goku Black arc. But for those who forgot:
1. Zeno deletes trunks timeline, his entire planet gone. Trunks then decides instead of staying in the main past timeline (the only other timeline in which he has ANY attachment to) that he wants to go to a timeline close to where goku black arc began, but it's not his timeline so there would be two trunks and two mais running around. From a narrative standpoint it doesn't make sense why trunks would want to do this, and from a fan standpoint it just sounds stupid.
So yeah awesome remix, I wish trunks wasn't done so fucking dirty in super though. Honestly Super did allot of characters dirty. Tien never stopped training but he's a weak bitch, weaker then krillin. Android 17 has been chilling on an island protecting animals but now he can fight super Saiyan blue???
