It's actually based off of the real "Hikari no Willpower", but it's pretty different, and I like this version better.
It's a cover of Trunks theme from Dragonball GT Final Bout. Although this one fits his character just a lotta bit better.

I'm a bit sad Trunks was defeated and humiliated, but Perfect Cell IS a monster.

@@RSilva- At least on Super everyone was beaten, not him specifically. That's where the humiliation come from.
He scored SOME victories at least.
1) He fared better than Vegeta
2) He convinced Cell to not destroy the planet right away
3) He got to kill the androids and Cell in his timeline.
At least his spine is still intact.
Also, Trunks in DBZ deserved a lot more love imo. This fight (plus vs SPC during the entire 18 hunt too), him vs Freeza and King Cold, and Vegeta vs 18 (where he charged in) was probably the only things worth of him that came out of it. The Cell Games kinda just put him as a side character like Tien and Krillin (though lets be honest, Trunk's death was honestly the best fucking thing with Vegeta's reaction), and outside of that he really didnt do too much.

He was brought in for the cool factor but quickly took a step back in the shadow to make room for the protagonists.
I guess we're lucky to have as much as we have ^^. Gohan got treated worse, from main character back into tjz background. Or characters like Goten who have... Hu... nothing.

As epic as this music is i would like to point out that this fight could have been avoided if cell had been prevented from reaching his perfect form by goku grabbing 18 when he saved Tien and Picalo
First of all goku doesn't know 18 so he can't tp to her also goku is a fighter like vegeta and wouln't resort to tricks like that - but good point anyway

Who else agrees the TFS is versions of the songs are better than the actual versions.I can't wait to see what they do with Gohan's super Saiyan two theme.
And that's exactly why TOEI keeps ripping them down their videos; they knew they're doing it better.
