Purva doesn't mean after....it means before(because it comes before uttara memamsa which is nothing but vedanta itself) Vedanta means - veda = knowledge anta = at the end ...however Vedanta doesn't not mean end of veda; the point at which the faculty of any knowledge ceases it's scope of knowingness is Vedanta = transcends the knowledge domine. Vedanta takes to that point by a negation process.
Thank you for sharing 🙏🏼 In our lineage and interpretation - we accept both meanings of Purva - depending on context - before and after. In this video - our humble attempt was to share what we know and have learnt from our Gurus and we continue to stand by it 🙏🏼
Thank you and yes, you're right :) We used the word philosophies in our title and theories on the thumbnail to make it easier for others to understand.
Hi! In philosophy texts and Yoga studies the Shad-Darshan are referred to as collective Indian philosophy :) maybe in the future some parts of it can be termed as Vedic philosophy - but in common parlance - it is still referred to as Indian philosophy across the spectrum for all 9 philosophies.
If u speak slowly and cleanly then anyone can understand this 😏..we all know that u can talk English very well but to talk English very well doesn't mean that u speak so fast...if u really try to understanding the topic to us...then please speak clearly each and every word...so that one can understand easily okay..🙂
Thanks for the feedback! Have been speaking slower in our recent videos - do check those out :) this video was from 2 years ago, and we’ve been working on improving in the meantime 🙏🏼

You keep referring to 'Indian philosophy '. Perhaps 'Vedic' philosophy is more accurate.
