The evening sunset glow on the mountain and the muted colors around it remind me of how often I have seen that scene when I camped and backpacked in the backcountry of various parts of our wonderful country. I agree that darkening that cloud helped draw the eye back to the mountain. It's amazing how a beautifully done painting can evoke so many memories and emotions. Well done.
