Your metaphor of throwing your discs and art just made me smile when you said what on earth does tossing discs around have to do with art. Practice and some consistent painting always improve our paintings. Inspiration as you say can come from many different places. I enjoy seeing other artist's work or watching them create a painting does it for me. I learn something when I study or watch an artist do their thing. I've enjoyed watching your channel and get inspired by your work. The painting in the intro to this video immediately caught my eye and I was excited to see how you created your "Here And There" piece. Thank you for the inspiration you provide me on a regular basis and some valuable tips.

I absolutely loved this presentation. The area that you chose seems so peaceful and idyllic. The painting of the Poplar trees in the shade caught by the morning light dappled across them evokes such calm you have in the early morning. Even that bug seemed to be enjoying your painting getting himself a closer look 🙂. The finished painting is just beautiful.

Still life paintings are another great "tool" in an artist's repertoire. I enjoy a great still life and are a different pace from landscapes or other types of paintings. This has to be my favorite painting of all those I have watched on your channel. That's a hard choice as you've painted many beautiful paintings. I especially love the sunset colors tinting the towering storm clouds is just as I've seen. The more muted colors really compliment the beautiful clouds. I of course come away a little bit more knowledgeable about a different painting process, time well spent sitting here watching your presentation.

I love your painting! When I saw the photo on UA-cam I was immediately drawn to it and wanted to see the video. I do however think that for a teaching video with so much complexity I would have liked to have some narration. Like, what colors did you mix? What was your thought process? To what extent did you use the photographic reference? How much paint is on the brush when you dry brush? In my opinion some narration would really up your game. Lovely, exquisite painting, and I really like your music!

An interesting lesson today. I love sunsets and sunrise paintings and although at this your painting does not have the sunset colors what you painted reminds me of a stormy day. You are correct Sally, this is for advanced painters. However, this is actually very beneficial for beginners too, especially the time-lapse. It gives a more simplified overview of how a complicated painting comes together, something I learned from myself years ago as a beginner. There might be some more advanced elements that will escape a beginner, but there is much a beginner can learn from this! I appreciate it! 🙂
