True. I mentioned this more for those not from NY. Seeing as anywhere I've been saying, "I'm from NY." The next question is always, "Your from the City? How fun is that." or some derivation there of. : /
I love Julianne Moore, she's beautiful, but she also has a radiant personality, on and off screen. However, that short little clip of that area convinced me I won't go and see the film. I remember Jill Clayburgh doing a film La Luna some 30 years ago. A stunning film as such, but the lip-synching on those songs was just too much to bear. Sorry, Julianne.
Disculparme.
LOL I get what you mean, but it was Renee Fleming the author was listening to when she wrote the book. Besides, in the novel, the opera singer's most-requested aria was Song to the Moon from Rusalka, so not bel canto, either.
Holy retro reference, Batman! You bypassed Callas and Rosa Ponselle, went straight to Galli-Curci! LOL you could've gone further to Adelina Patti, though
The only word can describe Julianne is "sweet" she is really sweet
She is so radiant and is very comfortable with her age.
She's such a sweetheart
love her laugh at 6:48!

God this movie made me cry so much
I always expect her to sound like Nancy Donovan
Manhattan and Long Island is NOT upstate NY.
She corrected him when she said, "Long Island, Oyster Bay, actually..."

Her lips looked so dry in that clip at the beginning I wanted to reach out and put some lip balm on them
I personally found her to look terribly dehydrated in the entire film. Even before the hijacking in the film. I also thought she totally miscast.
From Don Jon... She is super hot.
Eh o amor da minha vida

Renee Fleming? Not exactly the best choice for Bel Canto...
LOL I get what you mean, but it was Renee Fleming the author was listening to when she wrote the book. Besides, in the novel, the opera singer's most-requested aria was Song to the Moon from Rusalka, so not bel canto, either.
Oh...got it then. Still, sounds like an interesting movie. Thanks!
He'd have been better off listening to Amelita Galli-Curci

Nice to know Julianne Moore is just like us, boring AF
its easy to pick apart others with out the fear of repercussion.
